Nucleotypes is probably the biggest big-brain fan idea for Pokemon I've ever heard. An in-game way of retconning Pokemon types that also leaves it open to keep the old types if your prefer them is just *chef's kiss*

I love the experimental nature of this mechanic. It wouldn’t quite be as exciting in the age of technology and online game guides, but I can just imagine being a kid, trying to activate the genomes of every guy in my team and in my P.C bodes seeing what happens. New types? New forms? New evolutions? It’s like a real science experiment that you can conduct, and I hate that Pokémon games don’t let you get the feeling of actually discovering new things about Pokémon/the in-game world YOURSELF as opposed to just being like “hey look the local college professor logged 100 new species in his Pokédex, go find them.”

In my fakemon region “Kisando” it is based off of Michigan and Canada and the gimmick for it is called crystallization and in this region you’re allowed to have three types. And the new type is called LIGHT
Nice! Mine is called the Shingg Region and it is based off of China, with the biggest city being based off of China’s capital and biggest city. The gimmick is Ultra Attack, which combines all the moves a Pokémon knows into a finishing blow.
It think its more like 35% of the fandom, since if you think about it, Sound type is redundant with Normal type (Which essentially is the same thing), being a thing. We have a lot of Sound based mons, they won't change, since either it doesn't make sense to change them, they already got a change (So its unlikely they change them again) or are starters and Psuedo's. Pokemon they won't change, cuz already got a change Granbull Jigglypuff Wigglytuff Pokemon they won't change, cuz it won't make sense Noivern (Based on a wyvern, so would stay Dragon and Flying type) Toxtricity (Literally has Toxic and Electricity in its name) Primarina (While being a Siren, its a starter, so it won't lose water. It isn't gonna lose Fairy either, since giving Primarina a new type messes up with the marketing, since starters are supposed to be the flagship mons of their generation, alongside the Psuedo's and box legendaries) Kommo-o (Same reason as Primarina, its a psuedo) Rillaboom (Same reason as Primarina, its a starter) So that only leaves Audino Chatot Whismur line A lot of Sound based moves have move names in them (So they aren't changing either, just think about Bug Buzz being Sound instead of Bug). So realistically, the only moves they can change are Boomburst, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Round and Uproar, since there is literally no point in changing the Normal non-damaging moves to Sound, since they don't give STAB anyways. A lot of the Move based Sound moves are also Exclusive moves. As such, while many people are hoping and anticipating Sound, its unlikely it will ever happen in an offcial Pokemon game.
OMG, I can't believe somebody other than me feels that Dragonite, whilst not a *bad* Dragon pokemon of its own, was out of place as the evolution for the sleek, slender Dratini!
Watching people make there own ocs and fan projects makes me want to make my own like what if there was a Florida Pokemon region Jacksonville as a starter "town" tourism vs nature and history

Honestly thank you for not bringing back megas in this region. I always hated how people won't let not even that cool of a concept die. This lets waaay more pokemon have a chance to shine without making them overpowered or over designed. So thanks.
gotta say I love this concept, and LOVE the new designs/appearances for Golduck and Audino, and totally love the new evo for Dragonair! whilst not personally overly fond of the new evo for Granbull I do see how it makes sense that it's Fairy-Fighting, it DOES fit!
A small sugesstion I have for when a Pokemon is given a Nucleotype edit is that it should have some sort of small variation to it to make the type change a tiny bit more obvious. Nothing big but say they gain a few more features of the type they changed into. A tiny bit like a Genos type but a bit different. Like Flygon has their antenna curled upward a bit or gains a second smaller pair of wings underneath their main ones that makes their wings resemble that of a butterfly's. Or Amaura gets a crystal on their chest. subtle differences so people if they play multiplayer can tell if they have a type changed/Nucleotype pokemon or not. Other then that I love the whole idea and design!
@@PragMagik Mostly a battle concept idea if I am being honest. Mostly so people don't get angry or confused because of the change in typing. Like how Flygon becomes Bug Dragon and with no real visual differences and the fact you've made it sound in your video that the type changes are optional to if the player wants them change. A slight visual difference would only be there so in more competitive settings they don't get surprised when moves that normally would have worked don't. More so they are not caught off guard and feel upset.

The Nucleo types and evos are a little confusing but also exciting. Tho, I advise that the Genos Forms should be a bit like regional variants. Example, a Dragonair thats below evolution level can still have its type changed thru the crystal-thing (already forgot the name), but once it hits that level, it can evolve into Dragoseraph. Basically if u want the alternate evo, u need to use it on a pre-evo
what if the scraped gorochu became a nucleo evolution to pikachu after learning about gorochu, i felt like it was a huge missed opportunity that it didnt become pikachu's branched evolution

I feel the elemental fists should've had reactions from the nucleotypes: Jynx (the one whp got the short end of the stick of the three) should've gotten a nucleo evo, Magmortar a genos form and Electivire should've gotten an electric/fighting nucleo type
My Liba Region gimmick is Mix Moves. Once per battle, you can choose to combine two moves to make a strong Duel-typed move. For example, Fire + Steel = Forge Blade. You can even make a move that's the same type twice.
I feel like if you made sound types, you would also have to make light types but that's just my opinion. I mean there is lightning but I don't think that's the same concept.
I had an idea based on a mix of the shadow Mon as well, but also with the idea that the battle bond is basically the polar opposite of the shadow forms, and after a while the shadow Pokémon pull a shadow lugia and gain a new form

I just can never get behind the “Sound Type” mindset. Literally any element can make sound. Makes more sense to have more sound based moves of more types.
What about a sound meowth? It could be maybe a light lilac color and has headphones and maybe its tail could maybe a micro phone and it could be called...... Musowth!

Can we see some nucleo mega evolutions? Like maybe the sableye evolution you made would have a mega evolution/dynamic form where it basically goes into the mountain and Tues into a giant version of itself (with some differences like larger and sharper claws of course)
I know this is really controversial but I don’t really like the idea of adding new types, like all of the fake types I’ve seen can already be covered by existing types; like for example sound, now sound isn’t that disregarded for me but if you were to take all the moves that have to do with sound and turn them to sound then half of the normal moves would be changed leaving normal even more useless than normal

Funny enough, i made the split evo of my Bug Type, Staggot the world's most Aerodynamic and Quick as Female, Forkadia or the world's Strongest and hefty as a Male, Stagton, Forkadia is based off of Damselflies and Parkour Experts as a Bug/Flying Type and Stagton is based off of Rhinocerous Beetles and Hercules Stag Beetles as well as Strong Men as a Bug/Fighting Type, Granbrawl probably ends up Stopped by Stagton's Large, well-developed arms and fists while the Audino's Scream would be the perfect Windtunnel for Forkadia to take full advantage of. If you are reading this, Prag, these are just Hypotheses based on some of my pokemon and are in no way a challenge.

For my region, no matter what starter (apatolossal, firehemoth and mosoliath) you pick, your rival will pick the starter strong against you, while the champion will pick the weaker starter. So if you pick apatolossal, your rival will have firehemoth and the champ will have mosoliath. If you pick firehemoth, your rival will have mosoliath and the champ will have apatolossal. If you have mosoliath, the rival will pick apatolossal and the champ will have firehemoth.

Oh, I'm loving this concept! Even just applying it to Fossil 'Mons (or adding a Fossil 'Pseudo-Type') for their extant type combos would be AMAZING!

I just can never get behind the “Sound Type” mindset. Literally any element can make sound. Makes more sense to have more sound based moves of more types.

I had a similar idea. Well the start of an idea. Mostly just “I wish there was a way to get the types Pokémon should have had” and no good idea of how to do it. So I’m super excited for this. Also why are this video and the next one switched around in the play list?

Can we see some nucleo mega evolutions? Like maybe the sableye evolution you made would have a mega evolution/dynamic form where it basically goes into the mountain and Tues into a giant version of itself (with some differences like larger and sharper claws of course)

I know this is really controversial but I don’t really like the idea of adding new types, like all of the fake types I’ve seen can already be covered by existing types; like for example sound, now sound isn’t that disregarded for me but if you were to take all the moves that have to do with sound and turn them to sound then half of the normal moves would be changed leaving normal even more useless than normal
I have a question! How will you use the Nucleo Axis on pokémon, is it something like a band like Gigantamax band which you can wear on your hand, and how will react to your pokémon. Loved your idea, Please tell 🙏.
Funny enough, i made the split evo of my Bug Type, Staggot the world's most Aerodynamic and Quick as Female, Forkadia or the world's Strongest and hefty as a Male, Stagton, Forkadia is based off of Damselflies and Parkour Experts as a Bug/Flying Type and Stagton is based off of Rhinocerous Beetles and Hercules Stag Beetles as well as Strong Men as a Bug/Fighting Type, Granbrawl probably ends up Stopped by Stagton's Large, well-developed arms and fists while the Audino's Scream would be the perfect Windtunnel for Forkadia to take full advantage of. If you are reading this, Prag, these are just Hypotheses based on some of my pokemon and are in no way a challenge.

So let me get this right, you d get like 8 evolutionaries stones that would work on any pokémon able to evolve to jump start their evolution regardless of the usual requierments being met + give them any new type to their evolved form? And some specifics pokémon upon being given specific types would get new evos ?
I have one question can you make Pokémon evolve into a fourth stage from if they were a first stage like let’s just say hidragon Will it become like a super Pokémon or a supranuclear Pokémon which would be a cool name

For my region, no matter what starter (apatolossal, firehemoth and mosoliath) you pick, your rival will pick the starter strong against you, while the champion will pick the weaker starter. So if you pick apatolossal, your rival will have firehemoth and the champ will have mosoliath. If you pick firehemoth, your rival will have mosoliath and the champ will have apatolossal. If you have mosoliath, the rival will pick apatolossal and the champ will have firehemoth.
Ok so firehemoth is fire
Mosoliath is water
And apatollosal is water right?
