So excited for you... I love when a wonderful hobby such as ours (comic collecting) can fund itself, so we can continue doing what we love ! Thanks Chuck.
Wonderful video and tremendous collection! I have duplicates and I keep meaning to send a list to Pam. My comic collection is not as amazing but I am sure that it would enhance your collection. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful books! I want to see it in person and one day perhaps I can! Be safe and take care of yourself and your family.
Great to see you all in person for the first time, always look forward to your mailing list messages. I for one greedily ate up every detail of those amazingly preserved comics, so tight and colorful and like new, dag! Where on earth would we be without collectors?
Pure legend!!! I remember being introduced to you in 2001 by Barry Short at comic con. I bought a ASM 252. It will probably be one of those rare books that I will never sell, just seeing your booth back then was amazing. I truely hope to take the kids to Denver some day and stop by the store for a full day.
48 yr old here. Always dreamt of going to mile high comics since I was 7 years old. Someday, soooomeday....meanwhile so cool to look at it through your TH-cam channel
Great video to see your enthusiasm for those comics. That you’ve probably seen hundreds of times before. I live in England but have a friend who lives in Denver. He’s not into comics but last time he was here he realised my obsession with comics and looked you up. Apparently mile high comics is half an hour from him and he’s given me an open invitation to visit and stay. I can see myself spending days in your store. Hopefully visit you soon.
I was excited when I visited the Mega Store in April 2022 all the way from Alaska, and bought up some great bargains - silver age Lois Lane, Jimmy Olson, but I am feeling tempted to hop a plane and come to the party on June 30th!! 😱
Chuck has to be the only retailer on earth who truly hates selling his comics. After this teaser you need to upload the Greatest Haul Video ever seen on TH-cam ;)
Yes. He should make a museum for his collection. Keep one copy of every book he’s ever come across, doesn’t matter the grade. Comic geeks jus as myself would flock from all over to see it. Better than Disney Land!
Hi Chuck. A well-known British collector once visited my home and brought along ( with a box of other stuff) high grade copies of Action 1, Detective 27, Superman 1 and Batman 1. I held them and showed them to my wife (Think of the cover of Superman 100.) Never thought to have a photo taken! Doh!
I remember going there a few years ago and alot of nice stuff but one worker acted like I couldn't afford the comic I was looking at . But the other workers were cool.
I bought an avengers 59 from your ad in a book in the 80s (8 bucks) It graded CGC 9.6. I love your stories about how you collected. I had some good acquisitions in the 80s and all the power to you if your still getting them. Your nails are nicer than my wife’s. Do you consider yourself a bit of a hoarder?
never seen video before was cool to see you again chuck i took a picture of you back in 2008 212 don't remember off hand when you where at south street seaport in new york i'm currently finally starting to price my stuff i hope im doing it right ..im using max 9.2. overstreet price and a cgc guild of what % price goes down per different grade to get an average idea ..for a least a ballpark of price ..id like to know how you price your book your prices are drastically different from everyone else . i tried to figure out how much more your prices where form what i did ..i spent several hours im terrible at math ..i think i got soem idea but might have to call you guys up for more info at a later date be safe and and be well chuck live long and prosper
Fantastic News (but only for me)! After my entire channel was "permanently terminated" by TH-cam within hours after I uploaded a video titled "The Shocking Sexuality of SAGA"...it was reinstated quite literally on July 4th, Independence Day. So I guess we are the true Outlaw comics channel ;)
Thanks to Chuck/Bettie (love the nails), Pam, and Will for creating a comic Xanadu. Persons of the Islamic faith will gesticulate toward Mecca. I bow to you and hope to make a pilgrimage to Denver in the near future
Of course I know of Chuck and the history of his comic book collecting. I just look at his finger nails in this video and think, "This guy just drums to his own beat and I love it." lol
We add a special listing on our website for restored comics giving the “apparent” grade, plus noting amateur or professional work. Key issues are so often restored these days that it is more common to find issues with work, as opposed to “raw.” The Superman #1 which recently sold for a world record $5.3 million (which used to be mine…) had extensive cleaning (and maybe more), but that bothered no one.
INCREDIBLE!!! What a score and worth every penny😮
So excited for you... I love when a wonderful hobby such as ours (comic collecting) can fund itself, so we can continue doing what we love ! Thanks Chuck.
I'm BLOWN AWAY by the collection you bought recently. Great video, Chuck and Team!
Thank you so much for showing this. To hear someone that has done this for so many years be so excited reminds of why I love comics.
Wonderful to see all three of you having fun. Miss you guys quite a lot and Thank You for sharing the smiles.

What are those cases being used for the comics? Don't think I've ever seen those.
Curious about those too…looks like some kind of yellow ziplock across the top.

do restored books still get a grade?

@@chuckrozanski5374ok thank you for your time
Not a fan of how eccentric that guy is..... but what a legend.
As a man full of toxic masculinity who also wears nail polish, /salute. Stay angry normies. 😅
Video won’t play
I checked on it for you, and it is playing just fine on my browser. Maybe go directly to TH-cam and do a Mile High Comics search?
Yuck
