Anton Oparin West L.A Guitar Exhibition Anton Oparin - lead guitar Alex Oparin - lead bass Brandon Hopkins - lead drums Bronston Ashford - lead rhythm guitar
What makes Anton Oparin different from other "child prodigies" is he actually has some feeling. Furthermore, he has the greatest technical skills in the world. And he played some of the most mind blowing stuff I've ever heard when he was 12 or less. Fucking 12. And he's a teacher? He'll go down in history.
Unfortunately though he probably won't go down in history. Terrible players like Slash get the attention whilst Anton has hardly any followers and likely has hardly made even enough money from his playing to buy even a small house in Russia. Sad but true.
I am literally speechless! This kid is AMAZING! Not just because he can "shred", but because he plays with so much feeling and taste as well. This is probably what Randy Rhoads sounded like at 14 lol :-)
well tone wise yes i believe he's got feel, But note choice wise he's just playing the melodic scale and to be more precise the neo classical shred which doesn't really have that much feel
Oh please! You REALLY are going to nit-pick and over analyze his playing?! This kid has true talent - period. Can't you just be positive and just say something good for something so obviously great?
i did say he has a lot of talent, but to be honest most of his videos has him playing neo classical, which is very technical but not much feel or rythmic dynamics. he is talented, but he needs to play more soulful in order to reach the next level/. That is constructive critisism not haterism
No, I got what you said. But at the same time, playing with speed doesn't mean you aren't playing with "feel". Randy Rhoads, Michael Schenker, Paul Gilbert, John Norum, and Yngwie Malmsteen all play Classically-inspired riffs and scales with tons of feel. So for you to suggest that this kid ISN'T only reveals your closed mind. The opposite is true too. Just because you play slow or the Blues doesn't mean you're playing with "feeling".
@@tc_0 hi I remember reading (or maybe watching his video?) that his dad was an Olympic team coach, and not just a coach but more like coach that finetune their athletes to get stronger, faster, better. And Anton applied same principles to his guitar playing. So it's more than just 'practice slow and then faster'. I'm sure you already know about this.

It's great that he is able to break down and explain guitar mechanics these days, but the tone and vibrato here are not so great......plus a million guys were doing neo- classical better than this thirty years ago.....nothing new .......
@@hesch-tag Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine,Jason Becker,Paul Gilbert,Kurt James, etc, were all young and doing this better thirty years ago.......research it and stop kidding yourself....
@@joewalker511 Come up with your own phrases please. Those guys were/are all great but this guy is even better. There is a video where Paul Gilbert can't do a guitar part alone and needs help from someone else. Anton could play that part all alone when he was 13 or so. You talked about vibrato and that of course is arbitrary, his tone is also personal taste. Steve Vai had terrible tone (imo) for years as well. It almost looks like you hold a personal grudge against him.
Anton Oparin - one of the best guitarist in the world! Yuri Shilnikov can't compares with him.
Finally i've found someone who has great dynamic control in shreds just like paul
To anyone watching: this is ages ago Anton Oparin. He's 10 times as terrifying today.
Go to 3:17 and set tempo to 0.25x, you will never hear that level of clean playing in other guitarists
1.- no need to slow it down to hear how clean he is playing it.
2.- yes, u can find a lot of clean players in youtube, sorry
@@JuanPabloContrerasC Но нет гитариста, лучше него по технике)

Учитывая их личное знакомство - Пол точно в курсе как Антон его каверит)
His partner is doing a damn good job himself doubling.

Himself. He's created his own technique

his tone sucks so bad...I know my opinion is mine but, really....it's not appealing to the ear.
Needs distortion
