    Im a Tennessee boy, born and raised in Johnson City. Great to see our state represented so well. I love your lexus. I own a 2008 GX 470. I love it. Cant wait to see more of your adventures. I know this will sound random but a cool song for some intro to your videos would be (Road by Nick Drake) cool lyrics for overlanding.

    Finally a place I’ve actually been to. Working keeps me close to SC, but I’ve seen Nemo tunnel and got some good scratches (pinstripes) on my JL from the surrounding trails. I can’t wait to see where the east coast takes you. I’m always looking for more trails within a days drive.

    Your family farm reminds me of my family’s homestead farm and ranch near Bandera, Texas. Never feel more at home than when I’m out there huntin, fishin in the river or just relaxing on the front porch watching the deer run by.

    That bridge out in Catoosa doesn't look like it will be replaced anytime soon unfortunately, but if you drive down to Daddy's Creek which the bridge crosses over, there is actually a river crossing right beside the bridge. Yes you have to drive around the bridge out sign to continue on the gravel road, but they have concrete barriers blocking the bridge off. There is also a great section of the Cumberland Trail down beside the creek! It's great to see you guys exploring my neck of the woods!

    My family homsteaded in north central Oklahoma in 1889. We are lucky to still have some of the land. I remember my grandfather telling me that it was all open prairie before it was settled then after, any fires were surpressed. Now much of the area thats isn't farmed, is wooded...

    Another great episode. How do you find the Jet Boil Base Camp stove? I like the fact you can add on further burners if necessary or the Luna for simply boiling water. I've looked several times at trying to get one over to the UK, as well at the Partner Steel, but hard to justify with the shipping and import taxes. They're not available here in the UK or Europe.

    Kevin, easy with the "set reminder" notices, you're going to upset the gentleman from your last video. Oh, I forgot, he unsubscribed. Kidding, just think it's so funny how some folks take this TH-cam business so seriously. Me, I just enjoy your content. I met you at Turtleback Trailers when you were still there, I bought a slightly used Expedition from Dave during that visit to your shop. The Expedition was from a person in Utah. Take care...

    No offense to the middle and west folks but there's nothing like east Tennessee. When I was in the printing business I was offered a job west of Nashville and after visiting, I knew I wasn't taking the job. I spent a week there on the company dime and every morning I walked outside with only flat land to see. I said thanks but no thanks and headed back east on I40. Hope you and your family are doing good.

    • @JeepsRtheDevil
      @JeepsRtheDevil 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nemo is just outside Wartburg Tennessee where you will find Catoosa and some nice trails...and From there it's a short ride to Oliver Springs Tennessee and Windrock off road park...and from there another short ride will take you over to Brushy Mountain state penitentiary which is a museum now with tours available. And continue north for a bit you find my backyard and Royal Blue trail system which is attached to several others. Basically within a hour or two of nemo there are more trails than you can ever imagine. Unless you move here and go full time off road you'll never ride them all.
