    - get a hair cut when you start seeing split ends
    - try massaging castor oil/coconut oil onto roots and ends every 2-3 days
    - no heat
    - no hair dye
    - only wash when feels oily/dirty
    - silk pillowcase
    - use Nexxus shampoo & conditioner
    - use shampoo brush
    - use old t shirt/microfiber towel to dry hair after shower (gentler than regular towels)
    - brush from ends to roots, not roots to ends (unnecessary stress on roots)
    - gentle hair ties & hairbrush (scrunchies & Wet brush)
    - stay hydrated & eat healthy
    - take biotin supplement daily

There are fish oil alternatives, that don't have the yucky taste. They are derived from algae, as opposed to fish. I order mine from Iherb. Just search for vegan omega-3 and you'll find plenty of options (they are a bit more expensive than regular fish oil, though, but it's worth it. I still remember how deadly the burps were after taking fish oil.. Never again, lol)

    This is what I have:
Cut your hair just half an inch when you have split ends.
Apply coconut oil for two hours before shampooing, once a week.
Wash every three days. This is the perfect balance for most types of hair.
If coconut oil gives you a runny nose and headache, just add drops of it in your palm before applying the shampoo. :D
FINALLY. Comb it all the time. Yes, never use a brush. Use a simple comb that is kinda wide toothed but not too much. Comb it all the time, like three times a day.

Cam and Kels the hydrolized oils much better for hair, because non-hydrolized oils such coconut, olive etc cannot gets to the deep of hair cuticle cause the molecules are too big! So you see only visible result, nothing really healing and REALLY nourishing! I love kerastase elixir ultime oil btw, Lanza serum neem plant is also amazing)

Omgosh so cool that you use Great Lakes collagen. I'm 43 and starting taking it to see if it would improve my skin. It really really has, after taking it for a year, I swear the fine lines on my forehead have reduced but the biggest benefit was indeed my hair has gotten fuller and stronger.

That was very good. I haven’t coconut-ed my hair for years but I keep thinking about it everyday. I also stopped washing very often now that my hair isn’t an oil factory. I have to shampoo twice now, so I still use it up. I like Redken “So Soft” shampoo and their 2 types of conditioner. One is called “heavy” so I used it seldom. The daily normal conditioner is enough and you don’t need much. I have recently started using Quidad shampoo Playcurl & the Vitalcurl Balancing Rinse Conditioner and Playcurl Curl Amplifying Styling Spray which says it will, “shape & hold without curl-suppressing weight” so you’d like that but it is perfume-y. I like that though especially because I don’t wash as often. A hair stylist recently taught that we are NOT rinsing enough so perhaps if you rinsed a lot you would like the pretty smell. The Redken has no smell and it does give you the softest hair possible. Thank you for this delightful video.

The Argan rain %100 Pure Argan Oil is a great product. I have used another brand in the past but feel that this one works just as well. I use at as a leave in conditioner mostly at night because I feel it really hydrates my hair. In doing this my hair looks so much better as far as shine and body and I don't have as many flyaways. My ends are not nearly as dry as when I started using the Argan Oil which helps to not look so dull. I am happy with this product and will continue to use it as well.

My hair is like yours, excepting that I dyed it many times, decolored it like twice or three times, did dreadlocks, did permanent curls... until I wanted to stop and go natural. Everyone tells me how beautiful my natural hair is, now imagine how would it be if it was 'virgin'. I regret so much all I done to it. So one day when my hair was literally falling out, I cut it ALL off and started using shampoos without parabenes, sulfates, silicones, etc, and making special treatments based on eggs, oils and vinegar. My hair is much stronger and healthier. People, love your hair.

I also have never dyed my whole head. My mom did blonde at ends one time and i regretted it bc it damaged my thick black hair. My hair texture doesnt react like thinner hair to dye products. It just looks frizzy, dry, and unhealthy. It took 2 years to get rid of the bleached hair. I had to keep getting haircuts to slowly cut off the ends. I also had to keep dying my ends black. Finally all the hair i have now is unbleached, and its long and healthy

Actually, when you don't wash your hair for a long time, ends start to dry and they really need some hair mask, especially when hair is damaged!! It's really important to wash them exactly as they need it (start greasy on roots and dry on ends!!) better not to wait until that because then can appear split ends and it can be hard to keep and grow the length. Ps amazing masks are from Japanese brand lebel the proedit series! Looove!

Hi Valeria! Thank you for this really interesting video! Do you think that there is a difference between fish oil in capsule and liquid ? I’m taking the capsules one to avoid the taste but if you say that the liquid one is more efficient I’ll take it for sure! Thanks girl kisses from Paris 😘

Oh no! Valeria - was waiting for this video for ages, but you didn’t answer the question I wanted to know so badly. Can you please explain or make a video on how you get your hair cut? In serious need of inspiration for long haircuts!! Would appreciate it a lot! Love your channel.

I started getting anxious as soon as your phone started ringing at 6:10... right exactly when you threw the Ouai hair oil 😖

Hi valery I really love you so much, I want to ask you about my hair I made a keratin into it almost more than one year ago cause my hair is curly and I just want to change and after that my hair is start to growing so now half of my hair is curly and half of it is liss and that's really annoying me so I don't know what to do to get the keratin out of it and make it all curly again so hope you will help me ❤💕

Hi Valeria, I can tell you live in southern Ontario, because of the coconut oil brand, Live Clean and your Senior Discounts on Thursday’s at our premium drugstore lol. If you are ever near a Goodness Me grocery store you can find a Canadian brand of collagen instead of ordering online. I used to order mine online until it went temporarily out of stock and I found some locally, thank goodness. It’s called Organika Enhanced Collagen.

Is the shampoo/conditioner sulfate free? My hair isn't good with sulfate as it can get quite dry. ❤️ You hair is BEAUTIFUL by the way.

Thank you for sharing your tips Valeria! ❤ My hair color is natural as well but lately I've been getting a lot of white hairs and I'm not sure what to do about it because I don't want to dye my hair but at the same time I feel like I want to cover them somehow.

if you want subtle natural-ingredient highlights, try henna! (I PROMISE no orange!) they make these all natural plant powder mixes that are like 1% henna. My natural haircolor is the same as yours and it makes it slightly warmer and lighter (basically your hair in this video versus your sunny/warmer tone instas). I put it all over and a bit more to the ends or the front of my face for the "highlights" and no one can tell except for the amazing holiday i must have gone on ;) leaves no lines when it growns out - sometimes i color every month, sometimes every 6 months and its 👌 (google 'golden dore henna' i use the yellow box)

I have color treated hair (light/very light blonde with my natural light mousy grey) and I love black cumin seed oil for hair - sinks right in and is repairing, nourishing and really lovely when you hve split/dry ends :)) macadamia oil works great on my hair too! xx

Hey Valeria 😍😍 Can you put your fish oil in a smoothie? (obviously you can but does it ruin the taste? Or don't you taste it at all ?

  • @divinemercyisforall6984
    @divinemercyisforall6984 4 ปีที่แล้ว

my hair is healthy (no split ends at all) and thick and naturally very dark. i don't color it too but lately i'm tempted to ruin it for the sake of styling it. i can also grow it easily so yeah i'm worried that once i will start being harsh to it i will have a hard time growing it and my hair will get thin which i don't like. love this vid because i share the same "thinking" like you. i thought i'm the only one thinking this way and i'm just being OA with my hair. oh well whatever
