    The whitening thing is shocking indeed. As a Swedish person I certainly don't need to get any whiter :D Also hope that Thai people would realize how incredibly beautiful they are in a tan.

    Thailand is really an amazing country. Your smile and friendliness says it all.
    Just out of curiosity. If a foreigner is able to speak in Thai that is understandable to locals, then Do you think he/she should speak in Thai. Or, Is sticking to English preferable? (if the Thai local can speak a lil bit of English ). What is your opinion on this?

    • @ThaiThoughts
      @ThaiThoughts  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you for your kind words! 😊 Speaking Thai is always appreciated and shows respect for the culture. But if the local seems more comfortable in English, mixing both works perfectly!

    Dear Ling noi, a happy New Year again, may you have all the success you want to achieve. Moreover, thx for the laughter. Weird massage, for sure. Massage is okay but not this place 😮. As for the traffic. We can see it as a chance to get to the next life much sooner. Maybe better? 😊 And here's the question to your year 2568: What's the event for the year 0, the birth or death of the great Buddha? - Eventually check your account on ppal. ❤. See you soon, Santa K

    thanks again for a very interesting video :) lovely background! it looks like it's from the Pacific Northwest of the USA. is it?
    that "sister" thing is interesting. I can confirm it. so many people call their friend "sister" or "brother" even though they are not related at all. they are just friends. that was always a bit confusing to me lol. but I usually ask them: do you have the same mother and father as this person you call "sister"? usually they say no, so I understand they are just friends and not technically siblings :)
    that thing about never going hungry and 24 hour delivery is also great of course, but after being sick in the stomach a number of times in Thailand I am afraid of street food and sadly I have to say I avoid it now 😢 I know I'm missing a lot but I just don't want to take the risk anymore. being food poisoned is a miserable feeling and I never want to experience that anymore. maybe I just have a sensitive stomach 😩
    never heard about someone massaging you when you take a pee!? 😂that's new! lol

    • @ThaiThoughts
      @ThaiThoughts  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you! 😊 You’re spot on 🌲 Totally understand avoiding street food-your health comes first! And yeah, the 'toilet massage' bit is definitely one of Thailand's unique surprises. 😂 Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

    American trick for dealing with tailgaters... don't know if it'll work in Thailand or not. Tap the brakes just enough for the brake lights to come on and lean forward and then back as you do it. If you have other passengers in your car, they need to also lean forward and back in sync with you.

    Maybe if you can make a video on 'How can oversea/tourist people be safer to walk and crossing traffic junction with or without traffic light' also on 'how to follow traffic light sign crossing' safety in Thailand cities. Is it completely safe or not to walk across immediately at any zebra crossing painted with pink and white strip at any junction' Do vehicles driver stop for us to cross or not instantly? I was there in BangkokPhuket/Chiam Mai/Pattaya, I had notice that motorist did not stop or slow down to give way, when it was about 50 or 20 metre away near this zebra crossing, it might give way when it was about 100 metre away and slow down to give way for pedestrians to cross the road. Was/is there any Thai road law mention that motorist must stop and give way to pedestrians crossing first? This type of information detail can help those first time or seldom oversea/tourist travelers travel to Thailand cities can understand the road crossing safety and manners.

    The only nasty shock was driver behaviour and the poor standard and condition of the roads. It's an appalling free for all and highly dangerous, especially if you're a pedestrian. As you say, the second highest rate of fatal road casualties in the world. 12 times higher than the uk - and that's assuming the official numbers are correct.
