I liked the letters trick and the last framing trick. Very useful video. I always wanted to play round with the foil look. I would watch that video.

Thank you so much for your great tips and tricks! I can not find anywhere how to make font "curve" in Canva, any ideas? Kind of like the idea of WordArt in Microsoft Word. Thank you for the help and all that you share. It is appreciated.
I’m watching this several years later and I literally just reached out to Canva today to ask them how to do that! To curve the text. I have not heard back
To curve text: Click on your text box, and then click "Effects" on the bar above. A menu opens on the left - Under Shapes click on "Curve." There's a number above it - that's the degree of the curve. Change the number up or down to increase or decrease the amount of curve. If you want text to curve the other way, put a minus sign in front of the number. Hope that helps!

Can you insert that code for the free elements? For some reason I cannot see all the characters in that code. And it’s not in your show notes.
Hi Alicia. I think it will be different now with Canva 2.0 coming out. They have all the free elements together.
I updated my canva account but some of the pictures still have a watermark. In order for me to remove it I get an option to pay $10, or $100 for unlimited use of that photo. Then why does it say $1usd on the pic, if I dont have an option to pay only $1?

Hey, thanks for the tips and a heads up about macs.I´ve got a macbook pro and I haven´t a clue about hacks/shortcuts.I´m having trouble finding different fonts(they all seem to be with their own shaped backgrounds/themes) and also fonts which translate well onto Pinterest.So far they´ve all lost a lot of definition and look really fuzzy and not defined enough or big enough.Have you got any tips?You´re more than welcome to stalk me on Canva and give me some constructive feedback!In the meantime i´m going to check out your fab hacks!

Can canva do curved text? If so, how do you do it.
filtering free elements etc does not work if you use the free version of Canva?
Hi, love! In the update of Canva, I believe they are filtered automatically. This video is a bit dated!

I think it's only Apple products at the moment. I'd ask them on their Facebook page for a timeline for this ;)

I see someone else was asking about the tool bar that can move around was that taken out? or does it come with the paid sub? if its still avail how do you get it to work? that would be so much better because when I pick colors I can't always see it until I click out than I have to keep doing it over and over because the drop down is always in the way. thanks N

Thanks, someone finally answered on another video. It's that menu that pops up over the images/text. I was told it's from an old version of Canva. Taking it out was crazy, that's much more handy than having to move the cursor to the top of the page.

Hi! Great question. This video is pretty dated and Canva has since made a lot of updates! The design stream trick no longer works. I am going to add a disclaimer to the video description now!

Curving text isn't really possible, unless you rotate 2-3 letters at a time.

Hi Jeff, at the moment this feature is not available. But you can rotate your text boxes if you want to try and mimic it ;)
