The Connected Farm of the Future

You all know I love country life, but I also know how frustrating it can be when there’s no phone signal to help the day along!
So when Virgin Media O2 asked me and farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson from Cannon Hall Farm to take a light-hearted look at what the ‘Connected farm of the future’ might look like, we were all ears!
With some affordable and clever tech, VM O2 proved how readily rural ‘Notspots’ can now be overcome, demonstrating a great solution for the rural property market, which I’ve been hoping to find for years!

I used to live near Canon Hall and my mum still does, its wonderful it has grown and developed and is run by such a great family who clearly love their animals

Connectivity allows rural communities to grow in many different ways. I think it's a good thing, though there are some who don't want the growth, I suppose. It definitely helps farmers to be more productive and efficient. Love the Yorkshire accent, BTW - it's right good, an expression still used here in the southern US 😊
