Lovely, Jules. And so true, we just go on. I never visited the Forest of Dean when I lived in England and now wish I had, looks like a very powerful place. We have some wonderful big old trees here in New Zealand, the kauri and rimu - they certainly have a presence and I often used to lean against them during a walk. You could feel their energy going through you, very special. Always sad when we lose a parent, no matter what their age. Reminds us of our own mortality I guess! And a pet too, the gap they leave can last a long time. Precious souls all, to have shared their lives with us. I hope 2024 is an abundant and happy new year for you and your family, your videos and programs bring so much joy to so many of us. Thank you ♥

“Many of Nature's finest lessons are to be found in her storms, and if careful to keep in right relations with them, we may go safely abroad with them, rejoicing in the grandeur and beauty of their works and ways.” - John Muir's I have found the storms in my life have brought with them much wisdom. To be in God's creation is one of the finest classrooms. You have had two great loses my thoughts and prayers are with you.

We enjoy your videos and programs so much. Our black lab Ellie Mae watches along with us. I think she recognizes your voice when she hears it. Losing a parent is hard. So sorry for the loss of Teddy. They are truly part of the family. Lost our 12 and half ye a r old lab in March. Got Ellie in June. Maybe it's time to give another dog a new home. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Really nice reminder to take care of oneself. I've always found walking among trees the closest I get to feeling spiritual. I'm from California, where the mighty sequoia towers overhead in the Big Sur. So quiet and peaceful there. Didn't know redwoods grew in the U.K. Lovely, and thanks for sharing.

Dear Jules, I am also in a season of loss in my life and we are about the same age. I want you to know how much this little glimpse of your process helps all of us who are marching forward and witnessing life’s cycles of death and rebirth. Like the trees we can keep reaching for the light and through our root systems. Thank you for your gentleness and strength in a world that can be overfull of noise and fury. Thank you for reminding us to take a walk and breathe, and to look up as well as within. Bless your family and your farm. Keep on. You matter tremendously to all who encounter you.
