    Make sure battery is good.
Check all electrical connections making sure 12 volts is present. I used a test light but any tester will work.
Make sure ground is good. Then check components. A more thorough test is required for the components such as an OHM test.
Actual heating control unit may be faulty too. Check that to rule it out.
*I recommend using ONLY dealership parts-put in exactly what comes out.

Good job and video, thanks! I have a 2004 too, if I understood right yours.
I replaced the thermostatic valve by the engine, managing the coolant fluid, but inside the car, heating is still a bit weak. Could this resistor be the reason for that?

When you say weak, is it not hot, only warm or no air flow? The resistor is tied into the operation of the blower motor. So if the blower motor stops working, a good suspect is the resistor. if the air does not become hot, make sure the air is completely out of the cooling system, make sure the heating core is not blocked or the radiator. Any restriction in the coolant flowing will affect the temperature of the heat.
