    Thanks for this video. My brother climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro around six years ago but has no video to record his story. Watching this helped me to appreciate all he went though to get to the summit

    Great video and amazing footage! Congratulations on your achievement :) My hubby and I climbed Kilimanjaro in July and it was the best experience of our lives, it's one of the hardest things we've ever done, but totally worth it. Anyone who's thinking of doing it should definitely go for it because it really is the adventure of a lifetime. I don't know what's more amazing reaching the summit or seeing the view that awaits you when you get there. Breathtaking 🌍

    Tanzania will not be happy with you guys for not editing the song at the end to sing "wageni mwakaribishwa Tanzania yetu, hakuna matata" instead of "Kenya yetu". The song was originally composed to welcome visitors to Kenya but Tanzanians are using it by editing where it's sung as Kenya to Tanzania. All the same wonderful advanture. I enjoyed watching the video. I was born in Kenya near the border with Tanzania and we enjoyed the best view of the Mountain. Now i am more convinced i should hike the mountain and this video has provided me with wonderful trips on preparation and what to expect. Thank you for that

    I'm also planning a trip to Kilimanjaro for February. I'm not clear on one thing: it seems a lot of packages are pretty expensive, and have all of these add ons attached to them. Is there a way to just fly there, find my own hotel, and then join with a guide going up there? I know I should and have to go with a guide, but which offers are the ones that are reasonable in price and only essentials of what I need.

    • @FollowAlice
      @FollowAlice  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. Short answer is yes you can find a local guide to go with... but there is a reson for the pricing and the low price is a compromise on your safety! Please contact us on whatsapp +44 7490 852 007 or at info@followalice.com so we can explain in more depth and guide you to a successful summit
