    It is very intigruing that I just learned the presentation about Daoism in amazing and wonderful presentation video that not even created by native Chinese, 😃
    I just learned Daoism with the Indian team whose cultural heritage is also just amazing in Asia (Hinduism, Buddhism) 🤗.
    I really hope more Chinese and Indians learn and understand each other, since the two nations have the greatest cultural heritages in Asia to me. 🙏

    Wow, what a beautiful area! The coastline is incredible with the boats, cliffs, and fog. Thomas and I were hoping to go to China next summer, but with Covid that seems pretty unlikely... Haha at 5:40 were they just gathering around to look at your son? That's adorable. You have a beautiful family!!

    One of the reasons why Buddhism was quickly accepted by the Chinese is that Buddhism is also atheistic. The original Confucianism and Taoism in China are also atheistic. Buddhism complements Chinese culture very well. For the same reason, Chinese people are more likely to accept atheistic Marxism. Confucianism: the relationship between people and society; Buddhism: the relationship between people and themselves; Taoism: the relationship between people and nature; Marxism: solving contradictions in real society. Therefore, I am a believer in these four philosophies.

    But I went to many other mountains in other parts of China. All required tremendous walking. So not easy to travel with family to these places.

    The idea of Chinese medicine comes from yin and yang. As a researcher of western medicine, what do you think of Chinese medicine? Does India have traditional Indian medicine similar to Chinese medicine? Thank you!

    • @25Travellers
      @25Travellers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know very little about chinese medicine, although i work in Medicine field. India have major medicinal sector called Ayurveda, which is very popular and can treat disease without harmful medicine side effect.

    Yin and yang is related to.buddhism. Think about nirvana and the middle path. Harmony in yinyang is like the middle path. Too much of one thing will create imbalance. Think about nirvana, the state of nothingness. When there is happiness, there is sadness. When there is hot, there is cold.

    这个視頻从文化和基本事实上讲,有很多谬誤之处,恕我略數一二。其一你们应该造访的是崂山,而不是老山。其二道士不是和尚,在文化上道士不是出家人。
    关于阴和阳的解釋可以是道听途说。然后有以讹传讹之感。如果你想自己了解阴和阳的来历和意义,“道德经”可以读到其来龙去脉。
    建议类似这种文化上的視频,发表前给懂中文的朋友先过过目,以免增加误会。
