Donnesia Scott Ignorance comes in all shapes and colors. I’ve also witnessed this in poorer white communities. They blame all their issues on minorities, when it’s their own issues (poverty, drug addiction, etc..) holding them back.
Edit: I forgot to mention lack of education. When an entire generation doesn’t make it past 10th grade, how do you think they budget money?

That young man is So respectful, Very intelligent, Well spoken, and gave one of the best interviews that I have ever seen that was recorded in CHARM CITY. GOD BLESS you brother. He talked good about his neighborhood officers and He didn't talk dirty at all about our bad drug problem with the thousands of addicts we have. He was Truthful about our city being Nice and Safe, and also the really Bad areas and problems like any other big city has. And I loved how He said: Come on Y'all, We can beat this COVID-19, Just all work together and follow the orders. GREAT INTERVIEW. You All be Safe and GOD BLESS. Peace Out !!!

From the mid 1800s to the 1950s, Baltimore was considered one of the most sophisticated, cultural, and advanced cities in the country. It was only second to New York in art, music, theater, education, architecture, industry, etc. Then political and moral corruption, combined with American industry selling out the U.S. to go overseas, gutted a once great American city.

Also about Washington DC... He is correct you will go to fed prison for violations. Also if you get into an accident in DC and you have to got to court, it's federal court. Insurance companies do not like DC.

Coming from Detroit and now living here, Baltimore has been neglected by its corrupt officials and police chiefs for decades. There are really good people here. Good places. They really need help with drug intervention, homicide, overall moral. These people need to have something to look forward to, like decent jobs. They just need a chance! This city can be Great!

      Donnesia Scott no it’s not.
I said it because his level of articulation, makes me wonder why he’s in the situation he’s in, which brings me to a broader perspective of how institutionalized racism in the America’s
School system, justice system, and employment system destined him to be “stuck”, rather than flourish.
I know that you were implying the image of some arrogant white guy patronizing a black dude because he speaks well. Well that wasn’t the case, or intent here, especially since I’ve had white people patronize me with the same comment 😉

TheGdqueen-There are thousands of guys like this in the hoods across america. The problem is that they are stuck in the hood with no positive role models. And now weed is legal in a lot of states and that does not help our youth. That shit stops brain cells from developing properly. These young people are our future and that is killing himself in the long run smoking that cigarette.
