This is really true. There are dozens and dozens of entertainment companies in Korea and, at any given time, there would be 5-15 that were doing really well managing very popular groups, but "The Big Three" were undeniably at the top for two decades. They were extremely influential in the entertainment industry and television networks had to keep them happy if they wanted to have popular artists appear on their channels. The artists themselves had to keep their agencies happy too, because if they had a falling out with their label and left, their former company could pressure the networks into not letting them come on their shows to promote their new work, thereby sabotaging their future careers. I don't mean to say that all of The Big Three have bad reputations and, in fact, one of them has a very, very good reputation. Nor do I mean to say that the other companies were all powerless, because many of them were very successful and influential in their own right. But this landscape of power and privilege was what BTS was fighting to survive in during their early years and it really makes their story even more remarkable, coming as they did from a teeny tiny underfunded company like BigHit. It's a real David and Goliath(s) story.
Melody Pond this is standard for rookies tho, they were given arround 5 min they decide if they performed a full song or two cut down, this is usually the norm. Even now this happens as well, if a senior more popular group has a comeback they are gonna shorten the rookies performances because the senior has more rating, right now the boys have the seniority to have two or three complete songs, and for them to be able to do that the show it’s gonna shorten or cancel some other group performance. I don’t mean with this that they weren’t treated unfairly through their carrer, I think that at this point it wasn’t personal or targeted at them
Thanks to bts, the other groups from small companies now have a fighting chance towards success. These groups look up to bts. Bts broke what appeared to be invincible kpoo glass ceiling.

Ah poor Jiminie. He was 17! Apparently, when the company first told him he'd have to lift his shirt, and then he realized he was the _only_ one to have to do so for No More Dream, he cried and he kept begging for them to change it(I think they spoke of this in Kkul FM 2015?) Then when he started to go on stage, actually do it, he started getting all the positive attention and started liking it. No longer shy, he'd even show off his abs or be shirtless at home and say stuff to the members like "I look good, yeah?" But then during Run promotions, a fan sent a question for an interview about if he'll show his abs again since he hadn't the last album, and he notably said "don't go thinking little kids should have abs" 2016 was the year of the infamous diet and protein shakes and just blah. Throughout all this time (2014-2017) we'd hear throwaway comments and jokes in the sidelines, like "aah you say you like me when I have fluffy chubby cheeks, but then cheer when I lose weight and have tight abs, what do I believe in?" The online comments were pretty polarizing -- he was either getting a sharper jawline, looking elegant or he was looking sallow and drawn, having lost his beloved 'manggaettoek' cheeks. And 2016,they had their first run of solo songs for each member in BTS albums... With Jimin's first solo song being 'Lie'... A song you'll come across, don't worry. In early 2018 he spoke about how he saw fans worry about him in 2017(around their first BBMAs time) and all that jazz. He admitted that he had some bad habits that he was consciously working on. Around LY Tear promotions he even admitted that he realized that he had started to drink alcohol alone when he was stressed and thought strange thoughts... Which felt too much like a path he had no interest in going towards. Recently in the 2020 New Year greetings he said something to the effect of "being self-critical/tough on himself, was his default, was his comfort-zone, but he's so, so happy these days. He let's more mistakes slide. He's confident" He is using MOTS as the Era to try to discover the balance between Park Jimin the performer, the entertainer who once said "I'll become a man _everyone_ wants" and Park Jimin the ostensibly different entity or character, the way RM, JHope and the others preach. He's just a really fascinating artist and a really great guy and we all wish the absolute best for him

There was one performance I don't remember if it was No More Dream or N.O where Jimin did fall on his back, but being the professional he is, continued and finished the performance. Thankfully he didn't have a major injury. There are many compilations of them slipping or having minor accidents. Jiminie had the most of them 😅😅 tbh he is so graceful but he also has a clumsy side. I think all seven have expressed some degree of stage fright at times - some more than others & often about particular things the member is less confident about, i.e. RM & Jin with dancing, or vocal line members hitting a specific high note. They did cancel a concert once because of Suga's anxiety. Not stage fright, but being afraid of people I think in this case, goes as the same thing. And you do see how it affect him in concerts. Each show has their own music chart and criteria for which songs hit #1 per chart every week with which that artist receives a trophy. Usually, an artist’s first win on one of these music shows means a lot as it marks a milestone in their careers suggesting that they “made it”. Some groups receive their first win faster than others; unfortunately, some groups have disbanded without receiving a single win.

No. They're not materialistic at all tbh 💜💜 yes, they have their expensivs stuff but even nowadays, u can see them wearing fan gifts like sweaters or utensils (like cups) in their house. They still keep them even it's been years and they always donate too. Mostly in private and the media spreads the info and then ARMY finds out. Not to mention they even have the "LoveMyself" campaign where they donate a percentage of all their albums to ppl in need. BTS are amazing 💜💜💜💜💜 beautiful on the outside but most importantly, the inside too.
about the nerves thing: yes. there have been times in the past when both (on separate occasions) namjoon (RM) and yoongi (suga) have had to pull out of concerts/ performances bc of anxiety and suchlike they have both spoken about it previously both in their own music and candidly. for yoongi; he wrote a whole thread on twitter explaining the situation and later referenced it in agust d- the last. namjoon eludes to it every now and then, the most recent reference being in louder than bombs on mots:7 “wonder if this is my place”, in a docuseries namjoon has said there were times when he felt he wasn’t supposed to be on the stage, like he wasn’t the right person to go out there and therefore made him anxious. i’m sure the other members have experienced a similar feeling, whether it was as intense as namjoon or yoongi’s experiences or not. from the top of my head i cannot recall any other moments like that for the others, maybe they don’t experience it, maybe they don’t want to talk about it, and that’s fine too :)
The thing about the BTS members is that altough now they have reached a point where they have plenty of money, they are all still pretty aware of their roots and close to their humble beginnings. Sure, they wear name brands but there is also a video of Jimin wearing underwear he got from the convenience store and Jin is always wearing free BT21 merch he gets. All of them get equally excited by lobster and steak as they do about $1 instant noodles. Altough now they live in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Seoul, during their travels in Bon Voyage we get to see the members happily share small rooms together, have to budget small quantities of money for food, and play games to earn some extra pocket money. The members still have gifts of clothes and household items that they got from fans over 5 years ago. Not to mention all the donations they do. For example, all merch from their Love Yourself era was donated in partnership with UNICEF. And it's like a well known secret that the members always donate money on their birthdays and other special events in their own lives 💜 They walk a strange line between enjoying all they have earned and sometimes good naturely bragging about it, and remaining incredibly humble and down to earth as they easily seem to forget or ignore just how rich they actually are lol
There are compilations of accidents on stages...which consist mostly of Jimin falling/flailing because the floor loves him too much. And yeah sometimes something unexpected happens like mic not working or someone being in a wrong place during dance routine etc but they are either so professional that you don't even notice it or alternatively laugh their collective arses off and continue having fun on stage. Can't wait for you to see the MAMA and MMA performances (like MMA2019 which had We are Bulletproof but I think you should wait until you have heard all the songs they perform on those so you can watch the full thing bc that's always whole another experience)
There are compilations of them falling on stage, slipping on water, the backing track messing up, etc. Even JK passing out in Chile, Suga's concert in Japan, etc. But I don't think anyone caught on fire till date, thank God.

Suga-suga used to talk about being nervous about just being in front of so many people! It seemed like it was less stage fright or a insecurity in his own capabilities as much as it was just a fear of so many people all together... At places like the BBMAs or AMAs for the first time, Golden Disk Awards, SNL... I remember in the behind the scenes various members talking about how nervous they were. It usually isn't the same person each time? Like RM may try to take some herbal medicine one performance and then the next it's consummate performer JHope who says that he feels like throwing up, he hasn't been able to swallow a bite since morning. They still get nervous, but for concerts, overall, they seem like their excitement and enjoyment of the stage and Army's enthusiasm overpowers any stage fright

It's really interesting that you're reacting to their whole discography in order, because you'll read in the lyrics how their way of seeing the world and understanding themselves has evolved. About Suga's "big house, big cars and big rings", he addresses that later in their discography in two songs: "home" (from Map of the Soul: PERSONA) and "interlude : shadow" (full version, you already reacted to it, but maybe reading the lyrics again will make more sense! I truly LOVE doolset's translations, you know them lol). The way his perspective changes is amazing and touching. I love how you just cant help smiling everytime yoongi either comes up front or finishes his rap. That's all of us everytime our bias appears. LOL I also appreciate your approach. You don't focus on just one video, you watch live videos and therefore you really get to know them each as a performer. I guess as a performer yourself, it's inevitable to feel that. As someone who also did not pursue performing arts despite the fact that I love it so much, the appeal of BTS is all the more deeper and we connect and relate to them in a personal level. There was a time 10 years ago I even considered moving to Korea to try and audition for a famous back up dancer group from one of the big entertainment companies just to be in the Kpop scene LOL
So their debut on music bank is a meaningful story. they were rejected by countless music shows bc they were from an indie company. they basically agreed to be on a waitlist as a sub for if any show wanted any performer to back up the schedule when there’s an empty slot. On 6/13/2013, some other idol group couldnt show up for their performance. so Music bank called BTS to come perform. so it was decided pretty last minute (they mightve had a day or 2 to prepare) that they were gunna debut on that day. they cried afterwards bc it was a relief but also bc they made some mistakes (someone’s pants ripped, etc) but they were able to debut bc of the spot someone else didnt want. back then, they often performed for the audience after the show is done & all the lights are turned off bc they didnt get a slot on the shows. whenever they got a slot on the shows, their performances would be cut up or even completely cut out of the show when it airs. so it was really hard to promote themselves back then. stage malfunctions: yes, they had! haha they accidentally rip each other’s (or their own) clothes off. some of their stage malfunctions got them in trouble & attacked by stans of other groups.... (a very vivid one in my memory was actually the show’s fault but the show didnt help defend bts.... there was a signal glitch when bts was about to perform... and people thought they were copying the stage concept of a bigger group).... they got attacked so much that i think the members got pretty traumatized from it... they eventually stopped going on that show, even now when the show is cordial towards them. theyve had stage injuries as well. usually during their own concerts. they have malfunctions like any other performer. but they really are perfectionists so it’s not that often relative to how much they perform. As for Suga’s “i want a big car, big house, and big rings”, last year, when he performed that song again, he changed that part to “I got big cars, big house, and big rings” hehe Also, he referred to this line again in their Map of The Soul Persona album, the song Home. Suga said “even if i got the big cars big house big rings of my dreams, i still get the unsettling feeling of missing something.” he concluded in his verse that he realized that in the end, he just wants a safe place of rest he can return to.

We love a Jimin that loves himself! There are 5 music broadcasting shows in Korea (that's what the first 2 performances are from). When an album drops they usually spent about 2 weeks rotating through these shows promoting new singles. Every night a group wins the show. They air at like 3-5am US time but are really fun to watch. Atm ON is still promoting, though they aren't performing. I think it is on it's 15th or 16th win. You will enjoy it next time for your first comeback!

I'd say Suga or Jin might have the most stage fright. Maybe not anymore, but Suga for sure, he's expressed it many times and even put it in songs. One lyric of his that stands out to me was his "I was so afraid of people that I hid in the bathroom and stared at myself". And I added Jin because, even though you might not believe it, he's super shy and very much an introvert. One time, pretty recently actually, towards the end of 2019, he was the first to show up at the airport so he hid shyly behind a pillar for a while.
UM i think yoongi splurges more on electronic devices for his studio and music making because he once said that he's always loved to play with electronic devices since he was young and that was where he started to fall in love with making tracks and making music he also mentioned that whenever he goes overseas, he buys advanced studio equipment that can't be bought in korea 💜

They have so many live performances... music bank, music core, m!countdown, show champion and sbs the show are the main korean music shows for idol groups/idols. They also performed at some ending year awards such as melon music awards 2013 and golden disc awards 2013 (that's the performance jimin fell) and other festivals (most of them were not televised but there are fancams). Important early years milestones are the RED BULLET Tour in 2014 and their appearance at KCON 2014. One time Jimin was supposed to do a flip over some people but ended up falling on his back from over six feet up. Another fall, Suga fell and injured his ear so he was out for a long time and you can sometimes see the scar on his ear. V injured his shoulder during Dionysus but still continued to dance the whole dance even though you could tell he was in pain. Another time (also during Dionysus) Jungkook bashed his chin into the ground and I don't think that was a one time deal just because the choreography for that part has since changed. Additional to that there have been many many minor falls and mishaps, but they're always so professional about it. In the James Corden 'Black Swan' V totally full-on kicked J-Hope upside the head and he later said it almost made him pass out.
Lil meow meow does own a big apartment, and has big rings lmao. But also made a video with BTS 3 days ago wearing a pink sweater an ARMY sent him years ago. Like all the boys, hes pretty humble and the only thing he hardcore throws money at is producing equipment. There is videos of him legit like a kid in a candy store shopping for recording equipment. Oh and even though he owns a big apartment the boys still stay at the dorm together more often than not.

They performed DNA and other songs in the Comeback Show, and then they surprised everybody by performing No More Dream. It was so funny because when they posted the Making of the Comeback Show footage, we got to see how they reacted to performing it again - they were so shocked because Suga (Yoongi) didn't look like he'd changed at all, and Jimin said he was trying very hard not to laugh during the ab-flash moment. On a stage of their song 'Fire' the boys were supposed to be lifted up to stage but before that happened an accident occured as the host fell on Jungkooks spot (cause the hole is open and they're ready to be lifted up) and Jungkook caught the host with that near to death accident and it injured Jungkook's arm... 'Fire' is a very though song and had one of the hardest choreographies... And Jungkook still performed like he is in a normal state... None somehow noticed ... But in an interview the host revealed a very memorable moment of his life and that is being saved by BTS Jungkook...

Suga has plenty of nicknames, one of them you got right without even knowing (Suga Suga or "Syub Syub" too ksdjfk). what's fun about Suga is that you can come up with a nickname just by mispelling his real name, so Yoongi can be yoonie, yoongle, yoonby, boongi.... whatever your heart desires. Min Suga is a favorite of Suga himself, i personally think he even forgets he's called Min Yoongi sometimes
When it comes th o Suga being materialistic I think it has more to do with the fact that Suga suffered financially. Suga grew up knowing how important money is so he can't help but want to be rich in order to escape that. while he was sharing a tiny room with 8 guys and as a trainee he went to a art school with a ton of rich spoiled kids. he only got 30 dollars a month to feed himself from his label so he had to work overnight. This is really true. There are dozens and dozens of entertainment companies in Korea and, at any given time, there would be 5-15 that were doing really well managing very popular groups, but "The Big Three" were undeniably at the top for two decades. They were extremely influential in the entertainment industry and television networks had to keep them happy if they wanted to have popular artists appear on their channels. The artists themselves had to keep their agencies happy too, because if they had a falling out with their label and left, their former company could pressure the networks into not letting them come on their shows to promote their new work, thereby sabotaging their future careers. I don't mean to say that all of The Big Three have bad reputations and, in fact, one of them has a very, very good reputation. Nor do I mean to say that the other companies were all powerless, because many of them were very successful and influential in their own right. But this landscape of power and privilege was what BTS was fighting to survive in during their early years and it really makes their story even more remarkable, coming as they did from a teeny tiny underfunded company like BigHit. It's a real David and Goliath(s) story.
Melody Pond this is standard for rookies tho, they were given arround 5 min they decide if they performed a full song or two cut down, this is usually the norm. Even now this happens as well, if a senior more popular group has a comeback they are gonna shorten the rookies performances because the senior has more rating, right now the boys have the seniority to have two or three complete songs, and for them to be able to do that the show it’s gonna shorten or cancel some other group performance. I don’t mean with this that they weren’t treated unfairly through their carrer, I think that at this point it wasn’t personal or targeted at them
Thanks to bts, the other groups from small companies now have a fighting chance towards success. These groups look up to bts. Bts broke what appeared to be invincible kpoo glass ceiling.

Ah poor Jiminie. He was 17! Apparently, when the company first told him he'd have to lift his shirt, and then he realized he was the _only_ one to have to do so for No More Dream, he cried and he kept begging for them to change it(I think they spoke of this in Kkul FM 2015?)
Then when he started to go on stage, actually do it, he started getting all the positive attention and started liking it. No longer shy, he'd even show off his abs or be shirtless at home and say stuff to the members like "I look good, yeah?"
But then during Run promotions, a fan sent a question for an interview about if he'll show his abs again since he hadn't the last album, and he notably said "don't go thinking little kids should have abs"
2016 was the year of the infamous diet and protein shakes and just blah. Throughout all this time (2014-2017) we'd hear throwaway comments and jokes in the sidelines, like "aah you say you like me when I have fluffy chubby cheeks, but then cheer when I lose weight and have tight abs, what do I believe in?" The online comments were pretty polarizing -- he was either getting a sharper jawline, looking elegant or he was looking sallow and drawn, having lost his beloved 'manggaettoek' cheeks. And 2016,they had their first run of solo songs for each member in BTS albums... With Jimin's first solo song being 'Lie'... A song you'll come across, don't worry. In early 2018 he spoke about how he saw fans worry about him in 2017(around their first BBMAs time) and all that jazz. He admitted that he had some bad habits that he was consciously working on. Around LY Tear promotions he even admitted that he realized that he had started to drink alcohol alone when he was stressed and thought strange thoughts... Which felt too much like a path he had no interest in going towards. Recently in the 2020 New Year greetings he said something to the effect of "being self-critical/tough on himself, was his default, was his comfort-zone, but he's so, so happy these days. He let's more mistakes slide. He's confident" He is using MOTS as the Era to try to discover the balance between Park Jimin the performer, the entertainer who once said "I'll become a man _everyone_ wants" and Park Jimin the ostensibly different entity or character, the way RM, JHope and the others preach.
He's just a really fascinating artist and a really great guy and we all wish the absolute best for him

Re: stage fright. I think all seven have expressed some degree of stage fright at times - some more than others & often about particular things the member is less confident about, i.e. RM & Jin with dancing, or vocal line members hitting a specific high note.

Edit: Music Bank and Mcountdown are just a couple of the music show broadcasts that they have in Korea where artists go to perform and promote their songs for their album comebacks. Each show has their own music chart and criteria for which songs hit #1 per chart every week with which that artist receives a trophy. Usually, an artist’s first win on one of these music shows means a lot as it marks a milestone in their careers suggesting that they “made it”. Some groups receive their first win faster than others; unfortunately, some groups have disbanded without receiving a single win.

No. They're not materialistic at all tbh 💜💜 yes, they have their expensivs stuff but even nowadays, u can see them wearing fan gifts like sweaters or utensils (like cups) in their house. They still keep them even it's been years and they always donate too. Mostly in private and the media spreads the info and then ARMY finds out. Not to mention they even have the "LoveMyself" campaign where they donate a percentage of all their albums to ppl in need. BTS are amazing 💜💜💜💜💜 beautiful on the outside but most importantly, the inside too.

about the nerves thing: yes. there have been times in the past when both (on separate occasions) namjoon (RM) and yoongi (suga) have had to pull out of concerts/ performances bc of anxiety and suchlike
they have both spoken about it previously both in their own music and candidly.
for yoongi; he wrote a whole thread on twitter explaining the situation and later referenced it in agust d- the last.
namjoon eludes to it every now and then, the most recent reference being in louder than bombs on mots:7 “wonder if this is my place”, in a docuseries namjoon has said there were times when he felt he wasn’t supposed to be on the stage, like he wasn’t the right person to go out there and therefore made him anxious.
i’m sure the other members have experienced a similar feeling, whether it was as intense as namjoon or yoongi’s experiences or not. from the top of my head i cannot recall any other moments like that for the others, maybe they don’t experience it, maybe they don’t want to talk about it, and that’s fine too :)
The thing about the BTS members is that altough now they have reached a point where they have plenty of money, they are all still pretty aware of their roots and close to their humble beginnings. Sure, they wear name brands but there is also a video of Jimin wearing underwear he got from the convenience store and Jin is always wearing free BT21 merch he gets. All of them get equally excited by lobster and steak as they do about $1 instant noodles. Altough now they live in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Seoul, during their travels in Bon Voyage we get to see the members happily share small rooms together, have to budget small quantities of money for food, and play games to earn some extra pocket money. The members still have gifts of clothes and household items that they got from fans over 5 years ago. Not to mention all the donations they do. For example, all merch from their Love Yourself era was donated in partnership with UNICEF. And it's like a well known secret that the members always donate money on their birthdays and other special events in their own lives 💜 They walk a strange line between enjoying all they have earned and sometimes good naturely bragging about it, and remaining incredibly humble and down to earth as they easily seem to forget or ignore just how rich they actually are lol
There are compilations of accidents on stages...which consist mostly of Jimin falling/flailing because the floor loves him too much. And yeah sometimes something unexpected happens like mic not working or someone being in a wrong place during dance routine etc but they are either so professional that you don't even notice it or alternatively laugh their collective arses off and continue having fun on stage.
Can't wait for you to see the MAMA and MMA performances (like MMA2019 which had We are Bulletproof but I think you should wait until you have heard all the songs they perform on those so you can watch the full thing bc that's always whole another experience)
There are compilations of them falling on stage, slipping on water, the backing track messing up, etc. Even JK passing out in Chile, Suga's concert in Japan, etc.

Yes... there have been some malfunctions... from clothes malfunctions (RM accidentally destroying somebody else's shirt - gonna save the spoiler) to the boys falling because a slippery stage or a recent one when because of a massive fire thrower some part of the stage caught fire but the staff was SO fast and at ready that people barely realized what could have happened).
Oh, and my friend, Jimin is showing us his art but also... you'll see for yourself... CLOTHES just don't like this boy... they lift, they fall off him, they develop holes where there were none. You'll see.
Suga and money is... a sensitive subject... He went through different stages. It will make sense as you watch their progression. And Suga has or had stage fright... and it's a sensitive subject as well. It was a big thing in the past... and a bad memory for him. He has a song addressing both subjects called "The Last" which was released on his mixtape.
Suga-suga used to talk about being nervous about just being in front of so many people! It seemed like it was less stage fright or a insecurity in his own capabilities as much as it was just a fear of so many people all together...
At places like the BBMAs or AMAs for the first time, Golden Disk Awards, SNL... I remember in the behind the scenes various members talking about how nervous they were. It's really interesting that you're reacting to their whole discography in order, because you'll read in the lyrics how their way of seeing the world and understanding themselves has evolved. About Suga's "big house, big cars and big rings", he addresses that later in their discography in two songs: "home" (from Map of the Soul: PERSONA) and "interlude : shadow" (full version, you already reacted to it, but maybe reading the lyrics again will make more sense! I guess as a performer yourself, it's inevitable to feel that. As someone who also did not pursue performing arts despite the fact that I love it so much, the appeal of BTS is all the more deeper and we connect and relate to them in a personal level.
There was a time 10 years ago I even considered moving to Korea to try and audition for a famous back up dancer group from one of the big entertainment companies just to be in the Kpop scene LOL
So their debut on music bank is a meaningful story. they were rejected by countless music shows bc they were from an indie company. they basically agreed to be on a waitlist as a sub for if any show wanted any performer to back up the schedule when there’s an empty slot. On 6/13/2013, some other idol group couldnt show up for their performance. so Music bank called BTS to come perform. so it was decided pretty last minute (they mightve had a day or 2 to prepare) that they were gunna debut on that day. they cried afterwards bc it was a relief but also bc they made some mistakes (someone’s pants ripped, etc) but they were able to debut bc of the spot someone else didnt want.
back then, they often performed for the audience after the show is done & all the lights are turned off bc they didnt get a slot on the shows. whenever they got a slot on the shows, their performances would be cut up or even completely cut out of the show when it airs. so it was really hard to promote themselves back then.
stage malfunctions: yes, they had! haha
they accidentally rip each other’s (or their own) clothes off.
some of their stage malfunctions got them in trouble & attacked by stans of other groups.... (a very vivid one in my memory was actually the show’s fault but the show didnt help defend bts.... there was a signal glitch when bts was about to perform... and people thought they were copying the stage concept of a bigger group).... they got attacked so much that i think the members got pretty traumatized from it... they eventually stopped going on that show, even now when the show is cordial towards them.
theyve had stage injuries as well. usually during their own concerts.
they have malfunctions like any other performer. but they really are perfectionists so it’s not that often relative to how much they perform.
As for Suga’s “i want a big car, big house, and big rings”, last year, when he performed that song again, he changed that part to “I got big cars, big house, and big rings” hehe
Also, he referred to this line again in their Map of The Soul Persona album, the song Home. Suga said “even if i got the big cars big house big rings of my dreams, i still get the unsettling feeling of missing something.” he concluded in his verse that he realized that in the end, he just wants a safe place of rest he can return to.

We love a Jimin that loves himself! There are 5 music broadcasting shows in Korea (that's what the first 2 performances are from). When an album drops they usually spent about 2 weeks rotating through these shows promoting new singles. Every night a group wins the show. They air at like 3-5am US time but are really fun to watch. Atm ON is still promoting, though they aren't performing. I think it is on it's 15th or 16th win. You will enjoy it next time for your first comeback!
there are a bunch of compilations of their falls/mistakes on stage - the most common are when it’s slippery or they trip on something. whenever it happens though they’re super professional with how they recover and get up quickly/jump back in right away when they can

Yoongi got his big car, big house and big rings (he literally have SUGA ring almost half size of his fingers). All of them can afford it now but they are genuinely humble. You can see them own expensive stuff but never brag about it.

I'd say Suga or Jin might have the most stage fright. Maybe not anymore, but Suga for sure, he's expressed it many times and even put it in songs. One lyric of his that stands out to me was his "I was so afraid of people that I hid in the bathroom and stared at myself". And I added Jin because, even though you might not believe it, he's super shy and very much an introvert. One time, pretty recently actually, towards the end of 2019, he was the first to show up at the airport so he hid shyly behind a pillar for a while.
UM i think yoongi splurges more on electronic devices for his studio and music making because he once said that he's always loved to play with electronic devices since he was young and that was where he started to fall in love with making tracks and making music
he also mentioned that whenever he goes overseas, he buys advanced studio equipment that can't be bought in korea 💜

12:55 In his song “The Last”, Suga expresses that he has/had social anxiety and depression, he explains some details there about a performance where he couldn’t face the people so he hid in the bathroom, the lyrics are raw and emotional but kind of triumphant at the end, you should react to it, it’s really good and you get to know him more on his vulnerable side
in terms of big house big cars big rings, in context with the lyrics it is imo more questioning people who have big wishes but no big dreams but also, if those wishes got fulfilled, would you really be happy or would you then realise you maybe wanted something else and were dreaming about the wrong thing. also think about Shadow in that context, it shows the continuation of that narrative.

They have so many live performances... music bank, music core, m!countdown, show champion and sbs the show are the main korean music shows for idol groups/idols. They also performed at some ending year awards such as melon music awards 2013 and golden disc awards 2013 (that's the performance jimin fell) and other festivals (most of them were not televised but there are fancams).
Important early years milestones are the RED BULLET Tour in 2014 and their appearance at KCON 2014.

One time Jimin was supposed to do a flip over some people but ended up falling on his back from over six feet up. Another fall, Suga fell and injured his ear so he was out for a long time and you can sometimes see the scar on his ear. V injured his shoulder during Dionysus but still continued to dance the whole dance even though you could tell he was in pain. Another time (also during Dionysus) Jungkook bashed his chin into the ground and I don't think that was a one time deal just because the choreography for that part has since changed. Additional to that there have been many many minor falls and mishaps, but they're always so professional about it. In the James Corden 'Black Swan' V totally full-on kicked J-Hope upside the head and he later said it almost made him pass out.
Lil meow meow does own a big apartment, and has big rings lmao. But also made a video with BTS 3 days ago wearing a pink sweater an ARMY sent him years ago. Like all the boys, hes pretty humble and the only thing he hardcore throws money at is producing equipment. There is videos of him legit like a kid in a candy store shopping for recording equipment. Oh and even though he owns a big apartment the boys still stay at the dorm together more often than not.
One of the fire effects misfired during the first Rose Bowl concert last year and set the stage on fire.
Damn I always rant in your comment section... tbh they all are perfectionists on stage. Maybe J-Hope & Jimin show it more but they beat themselves up when the stages are not "perfect" for them. And they've gotten nervous af too. The most "recent" ones they've admitted to being reeeally nervous, was Yoongi for the 2017 AMAs stage and Jin for the BBMAs Fake Love stage.

I just want to say this: If you want to use the roadmap, do. But if you see something else and want to watch it, screw the roadmap and just do what you want! Right now when you're just getting into BTS there's a whole world to discover and it's so much fun to just go wherever the journey takes you. We've all done that, too, and sometimes that's when you have the most fun.
That being said, if you want to have the chance to see a diff version of No More Dream, one of my personal favorites was when they performed it at the 2017 Comeback Show for the Love Yourself: Her album. They performed DNA and other songs in the Comeback Show, and then they surprised everybody by performing No More Dream. It was so funny because when they posted the Making of the Comeback Show footage, we got to see how they reacted to performing it again - they were so shocked because Suga (Yoongi) didn't look like he'd changed at all, and Jimin said he was trying very hard not to laugh during the ab-flash moment. On a stage of their song 'Fire' the boys were supposed to be lifted up to stage but before that happened an accident occured as the host fell on Jungkooks spot (cause the hole is open and they're ready to be lifted up) and Jungkook caught the host with that near to death accident and it injured Jungkook's arm... 'Fire' is a very though song and had one of the hardest choreographies... And Jungkook still performed like he is in a normal state... None somehow noticed ... But in an interview the host revealed a very memorable moment of his life and that is being saved by BTS Jungkook...

In Brazil we call Yoongi 'Guinho' which literally means 'little Gi' or 'small Gi'. It's just a cute way of saying the last syllable of his name. In conclusion, Suga has a lot of nicknames about how cute he is 😄
Suga has plenty of nicknames, one of them you got right without even knowing (Suga Suga or "Syub Syub" too ksdjfk). what's fun about Suga is that you can come up with a nickname just by mispelling his real name, so Yoongi can be yoonie, yoongle, yoonby, boongi.... whatever your heart desires. Min Suga is a favorite of Suga himself, i personally think he even forgets he's called Min Yoongi sometimes

When it comes th o Suga being materialistic I think it has more to do with the fact that Suga suffered financially. Suga grew up knowing how important money is so he can't help but want to be rich in order to escape that. while he was sharing a tiny room with 8 guys and as a trainee he went to a art school with a ton of rich spoiled kids. he only got 30 dollars a month to feed himself from his label so he had to work overnight. He literally went from school to training to working and sleeping at school. He spoke about this in his Mixtape Agust D recommend you listen to the whole mixtape.
