Leila Gharani. hi. i would like to know if its possible to create pie chart instead using the example in this clip. n lets say if i drop down a list in cell c2 (which contain the name). the selected name would "stand out" in the pie chart. i tried using the primary/seconday method as i will do for a line chart. but seems to me pie chart dun allow primary/seconday.
Hi Leila, Great video Leila. It really explain the chart mechanics. Is this part of your dashboard course? If it isn't I think it should be added. Michael
Hello Leila, I enjoy watching your videos a lot. It would be good if you did include the exercise files for people to practice your teaching videos. I know a lot of people including myself would appreciate it even more. Thank you.
Congratulation for winning the Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft. Thank you for your valuable sharing on Excel which I benefited from it tremendously. Once again, thank you and Congratulation.
Hi there, I've been using charts from 2008 up and the elements seem to be getting easier to use. Although I have struggled a bit, these tutorials are like fresh air. Great work and better that reading through Microsoft's help page.
Thank you!!! I am 2 days away from submitting my final project and have been scrambling around the internet for Standard Deviation charting in excel, when I came across your channel. WOW just watching this video, I have learnt so much and will dig deeper to see if you have SDEV help, but if not, would be grateful for a video on this.
i have been a staunch follower of this channel . Just one request, please give the link of sample worksheet under every video description you used for each tutorial. Upon and while watching we need practice in home
Great tutorial indeed. Once again no words to explain your good deeds, BIG & VERY BIG ROYAL SALUTE TO YOU MADAM. Waiting eagerly to learn more and more in the days to come. We are very lucky indeed to get a great teacher/guru in Excel like you, which no one can compete. Yours greatest admirer/follower/disciple - Gopalakrishna
Thank you very much Gopala for the very kind words! I am very happy you find the videos useful. I am no guru though - still have a lot to learn myself :)
Madam, your great demonstration made me to learn things hassle free. You explain it detailely which help to understand each steps. Thank you very much. Could you please post on - How to Analyze Text Data , Text Analysis by using Excel step by step .
Dear Leila, I have found this video very useful and professional. Your way of teaching is excellent and it shows that you have worked very hard to make the script of the video and how to present it. Really good source of learning. I have best wishes for you to grow ameen. Best regards, Muhammad Ali Awan
I am from Jamaica where I am doing my Caribbean Secondary Examination Council exam called CSEC or CXC which stands for Caribbean Examination Council and I have to submit a SBA (School Base Assessment) which gives us 20% of our exam grade going into the exam where this exam is sent to Barbados where the exam head office is located to be marked graded and then the result is published on line for those who can't wait for their results to see and I have to produce a maths base exam using charts and I have never done any charts in excel or Microsoft Word before and by watching your video makes it looks easy!!! Especially the part where you say that we can just high light the words and click on ALT and some other key and excel will place the information where they belong. I wish you was near me so I can just give you the information to do for me and that would relieve me from all my stress
Hi Leila, I enjoyed your calm and softspoken way of presenting, and of course the useful information for inserting, adjusting and working with charts in general. I will most likely be watching more of your videos. Today I subsribed to you channel. Thanks again, Ricardo
I am new to learning so I get pretty overwhelmed with anxiety pretty bad, but you really made me feel like I can do this and understand. I am so tired of crying because I keep failing at what type of chart is what like histogram and dropbox or bar graph I am doing manual incomes and how much per hour weekly and monthly its math 175 Can you please help me sort out the different types. PEASE I NEED TO PASS TEST ON TUESDAY
Great top tips, generally at work due to time constraints, I normally just knock a quick chart up from self taught learning, very ad hoc and messy. Not any more after watching this great video. Thanks Darren
Thought I'd go back to see if a "basics" course could answer a few issues I've encountered in combination graphs. Stay tuned Leila - you may have solved the combination graph scaling issue!
