I'm a Christian, I believe, trust, love and put my faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. I know God's Word, both the living and written Word are perfect and infallible. I'm not afraid of what will happen too me after I've passed away. Because I have complete faith in my Savior and what God promises to those who love Him. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't anxious and scared of the transition, or the process of my death. I do know based on Scripture and a personal life experience. That as soon as a follower of Christ, passes from out of this body, into eternity, not just an NDE where a person is revived. That angels stand ready to usher them into the presence of the Lord. I have a brother in Christ, who was also a very close brother like friend before either one of us turned to God. Who was taken home when he was 27, sick with terminal cancer. Thankfully, as many do, he was introduced too the Gospel of Christ and accepted the Saviors gift early in his illness. He grew in his faith, and loved to talk about God. When the time came for him to go home. He lay in his hospital bed awake, while his parents and his brothers and sisters held his hands and pet his head. He kept focusing on the corner for some reason, as if someone were there. His mom finally asked what he saw. He couldn't speak, so with his fingers, he made what looked like a writing gesture. They found a piece of paper and a pencil in the room. His dad put the pencil in his hand and laid his hand on the paper with a small book under it. Though it was shaky, he managed to drag his hand around. And, make the shape of what looked like a large gate, near that shape he managed to scribble the word, CROSS. Of course in tears, his mom asked, "what is it Brian, are the angels here to get you?" He slowly lowered and managed to tilt his head back up slightly, and continued to move his eyes between the empty corner and his family. His family reassured him that it was alright to go with the angels, the family, who I was very close with for many years, basically my adopted family. Said he looked as if he was completely relieved of pain and worry in the last few moments. Within minutes of the drawing and his families goodbye, he had slipped into the arms of the Heavenly Father. After this witness and his death, his mom and dad both gave their life to Christ. His momma has since been taken home to be with the Lord. And be reunited with her son. His dad still has the little scribbled picture hanging on the wall with a picture of his son. Just like the angels that carried Lazarus to Abraham's bosom, in Jesus' account of the the rich man and Lazarus. I think Brian actually seen his heavenly escorts before he even stepped out of this world.
I just wish Christians would understand the difference between evidence and speculation. Here is the problem with anything Strobel has said or will say. I'm not the only channel on youtube that is debunking his claims from his interviewees one by one as I have an entire playlist just on Strobel's C For C. He is an award winning legal journalist in the past but yet never checked a contrary opinion in his interviewees. He never fact checked his so called evidence--he used their books and it is in his own book C For C as sources. Almost all of his interviewees were fundamentalist--could you be more biased? And now yet he has another book more opportunistic for money being made from his base. Same category as the Burpos. So know I take nothing seriously from him as objective. Cheers, DCF
Thank you!
