Qatar has been an independent sovereign state since 1971. It is one of the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the others being Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. Qatar comprises an 11,500 sq. km peninsula extending northwards into the Arabian Gulf. It has 563 km of uninterrupted coastline. The country’s population stands at 2.69 million and its capital city is Doha.
Qatar has a desert climate with year-round sunshine, hot summers and mild winters. Mean monthly temperatures range from 17°C in January to 36°C in July, sometimes reaching highs of 40°C+ during the summer. Rain is infrequent, falling in brief showers mainly in winter.
The shiny new Qatar tourism ad came up in my feed with all the new skyscrapers etc.. it prompted me to search what the real Qatar looks like. Im not dissapointed, love seeing real old neighbourhoods of exotic places

Very good, I was at Qatar 2006 to 2011 for job purpose , that was a golden period of my life. All those days are still vivid in my mind. Really I missed Qatar. I have done great mistake to left that job from Qatar. The atmosphere & culture of Qatar really good. Every moment I wish to the almighty to give me a chance to go back again Qatar for job. Qatar I missed you.
