In the early days of BL, actors were instructed to be vague and suggestive, and that was a huge mistake on the part of the industry, and has led to so many problems down the line. But it's also on us fans. There will always be delulu fans who think they own the celebrities they like, but they should stay in the minority and not be allowed to set the tone in the fandom by the rest of us. Fantasy is fine, as long as you can separate your fantasy from the real life flesh and blood persons. I'm glad to hear that some of the more established actors who have more clout are setting these examples in clapping back. We should be supporting our idols, not making their lives harder.

As an international fan, I obvi have so much admiration and love for my favorites, but it is also horrifying to see the extent that some fans will go to just to tear these actors/actresses down and destroy them. The reason Sam drank alcohol for the scene in We Best Love2 is not because he’s uncomfortable doing the scene, but because of emotional intensity of the scene. In the scene his character is also drunk, and confessed his deep feelings. It’s beautiful, sad and romantic at the same time. One of the most well acted scenes I’ve watched in BL dramas. He wasn’t drinking because he was forced to do something he’s uncomfortable doing like some other cases this video mentioned.

As a BL and kpop fan I understand that those famous people and artists can bring comfort and joy to our lives and that's beautiful, but there are so many people nowadays who take it way too far and end up hurting the very people they "love". (Just throwing out names as an example not to cause offence) If you go and see Pond and Phuwin while they have a series on air then when you go meet them and if their characters are sweet with each other then they will be sweet because is the characters they are presenting and representing not their personal selves. It is like going to Disneyland and meet Mickey Mouse that is a cartoon and a drawing in the real life. If you would understand that then both the actors and the fans would save ourselves from a whole lot of griefs. And with that understanding actors can switchup pairings and life is still worth living. May I add this last bit many actors in Hollywood would say some people that they pair with especially in a family setting and more so in a love scene in reality they are not friends with them but that shows their skill to make us believe when they touch the screen. I remember vividly when a certain big *foreign* FC of Apo, along with some Apo TSS's got the entitled feeling that that they could dictate how BoC should promote the ManSuang movie in Bangkok, to the point of causing a near movie PR disaster. Apo clapped back. He did it politely but very clearly. Having some of these entitled fans sobbing over how shocked they were that what *they* wanted for him wasn't what he wanted. Despite him nicely saying countless times in interviews what his goals were, how he liked to work, and how he didn't want to do things. Some fans absolutely don't listen to their idol, but decides that they know best, and/or that their idol should want more.

For Sam in WBL it was cause the scene was really emotional and this serie was really important for him , he even cry at the premier of the scene while fans were there too cause it was a deep emotional one for his character. If actors think drinking can help their character to come more real for some scene its ok , (what matter is that they dont hurt themself or others thats it) and his performance was judge by journalist by one of the best scene in all drama series ever (not only in a BL category) Cause of his performance and Yu have manage to work well with him during this scene and it was really beautiful and at the end of it they both have made sure that they were ok . For other it was for a more intense sex scene cause Thai BL now have to make more NC scene to make toxic fans happy and its not easy for the actors so if they feel the need to drink to have more courage to do it ,its ok . Everyone know that when you drink ,you get a little more free and less shy . So i personaly dont care, if they dont hurt themself or their CO star its ok

There's a disturbing amount of BL fans, who can't distinguish BL *screen* couples from real couples. There's nothing wrong in shippung, but it has to be done with the reality that it's based on the actors' roles and not reality. In a very few cases it turns reality, just like *any* other production genre, when two actors end up falling in love, but 99% of screen couples are nothing but work partners, and often (becomes) friends. If your ship isn't one of the like 1% that becomes a real couple, you have ZERO rights to demand more, and real couples or screen couples, you always.. *always* must stay within boundaries with the actors. They are first and foremost human. Not pedestal figurines. Not your doll, nor your bestie, child, or whatever. They certainly aren't the tool of your possible fetishizing fantasy. the drinking before intimate scenes? hmm I think its ok BUT for a moment I wasn't supportive of it, because of how I interpret this in a real life situation I'm a gay man and I have had plenty of relationships some of my partners did not want to have sex unless they were drunk. At the time I wasn't accepting of that mainly because of what we know about alcohol , how it alters your state of mind etc and how how certain laws make it basically rape to have sex with someone whos drunk so when you add it what the drink does to a person altered state of mind you may or maynot do things you wouldn't normally do and you could forget entire events. To me it would seem like our love wasn't genuine so I was never a fan of the drinking while having sex thing. I guess if I was an actor I might feel sorta the same way with my co star. I remember vividly when a certain big *foreign* FC of Apo, along with some Apo TSS's got the entitled feeling that that they could dictate how BoC should promote the ManSuang movie in Bangkok, to the point of causing a near movie PR disaster.
Apo clapped back. He did it politely but very clearly. Having some of these entitled fans sobbing over how shocked they were that what *they* wanted for him wasn't what he wanted. Despite him nicely saying countless times in interviews what his goals were, how he liked to work, and how he didn't want to do things.
Some fans absolutely don't listen to their idol, but decides that they know best, and/or that their idol should want more.

Don’t understand this culture around thinking these actor’s actually continue their romantic relationships off screen too. Have these guys not heard of acting? I’m the glad the actors are hitting back hard. And this nonsense of “fan service” needs to be discontinued as well. Such a disservice to everybody involved.

For Sam in WBL it was cause the scene was really emotional and this serie was really important for him , he even cry at the premier of the scene while fans were there too cause it was a deep emotional one for his character. If actors think drinking can help their character to come more real for some scene its ok , (what matter is that they dont hurt themself or others thats it) and his performance was judge by journalist by one of the best scene in all drama series ever (not only in a BL category) Cause of his performance and Yu have manage to work well with him during this scene and it was really beautiful and at the end of it they both have made sure that they were ok . For other it was for a more intense sex scene cause Thai BL now have to make more NC scene to make toxic fans happy and its not easy for the actors so if they feel the need to drink to have more courage to do it ,its ok . Everyone know that when you drink ,you get a little more free and less shy . So i personaly dont care, if they dont hurt themself or their CO star its ok

Excess fanservic is the main reason...i mean they feed delusional fans for thr own benifits and thn blame it on fans...i mean fans should also understand the difference and should stop being delusional...they are actors for a reason....THEY CAN ACT that's why thr fanservic looks real...but its high time for fans they should stop giving fucks to thr fanservice and thr personal life. They can date who ever they want...we should not force thm to be gay. We as a fans should take a step to love and support actors so that they do not need to do fanservice.

There's a disturbing amount of BL fans, who can't distinguish BL *screen* couples from real couples. There's nothing wrong in shippung, but it has to be done with the reality that it's based on the actors' roles and not reality. In a very few cases it turns reality, just like *any* other production genre, when two actors end up falling in love, but 99% of screen couples are nothing but work partners, and often (becomes) friends. If your ship isn't one of the like 1% that becomes a real couple, you have ZERO rights to demand more, and real couples or screen couples, you always.. *always* must stay within boundaries with the actors. They are first and foremost human. Not pedestal figurines. Not your doll, nor your bestie, child, or whatever. They certainly aren't the tool of your possible fetishizing fantasy. A sad amount of BL fans fetishize BL and BL actors. It's oki in their fantasy, but not i reality, especially if it doesn't suit/equal the fantasy the fan has build up around an actor/screen couple.
Ppl seem to forget that series are imaginary worlds. The actors and actresses are actual ppl. Not imaginary. Their names and ages and back stories are different from the characters they portray. How is it that educated ppl can't separate reality from fiction?? It boggles my mind. I appreciate their work to bring us entertainment, but also keep in mind it's just that. Entertainment.

the drinking before intimate scenes? hmm I think its ok BUT for a moment I wasn't supportive of it, because of how I interpret this in a real life situation I'm a gay man and I have had plenty of relationships some of my partners did not want to have sex unless they were drunk. At the time I wasn't accepting of that mainly because of what we know about alcohol , how it alters your state of mind etc and how how certain laws make it basically rape to have sex with someone whos drunk so when you add it what the drink does to a person altered state of mind you may or maynot do things you wouldn't normally do and you could forget entire events. To me it would seem like our love wasn't genuine so I was never a fan of the drinking while having sex thing.
I guess if I was an actor I might feel sorta the same way with my co star. I don't love you or anything but the idea of drinking for us to do a scene would mean that you arent comfortable with me and if we are supposedly close friends that would kinda hurt a little . So I can get why some people got upset about this
