Great exercise! When I practice my serves I always feel so comfortable, hitting almost every first serve in with full force and the second almost the same speed, but higher bounce. Then in the match i get nervous, my grip feels of an i hit the frame. So I kinda just push it in or emphasize on to much spin without any pace at all.

Familiar feeling. You need to face that feeling as much as possible and create environment and situations that resemble similar discomfort. Train yourself to perform better in those moments. Hope that helps!

Excellent. You have damn good serve mechanics. Excellent idea for pressure training, mental and physical. I'm just going to make 1 change when I try it. I'll be hitting 2 serves on add and two on deuce to simulate a point situation. Might as well make it as close to a real situation as possible.
Please show close up slow motion of your serve as well. I think a big part of your consistency is short tossing motion which keeps the toss accurate and a quiet upper body which allows you to maintain a consistent swing path , weight transfer and elbow extension.

The most I ever got was 23 in a row. 32 is brilliant bro. RESPECT. And yes I agree this is a really great exercise in serving under pressure. It is the pressure you put on yourself which is difficult to master. :)

Thanks Darren. Don't forget the fact that this net was way higher than regular net. And yes, you said it well, pressure is created by ourselves but this can't be mastered through training!

Good Stuff. Looked like your serve was getting bigger and bigger...Serves 27 and up really had that "pop." Your mechanics, kinetic chain, are so good. Even your warm up serves. Okay, I'm off to the court in five minutes. I'm doing this drill.

Thanks Christopher for your kind words. So happy to hear that you got motivated and went for it. How did it go? :)

@@tenfitmentennisimpulse Went well. I always have specific goals for my practice sessions. I'm working toward proper execution of all the links in the kinetic chain to produce effortless power. All the top level players have it. You have it. Right now, I'm serving from a platform stance. Yesterday, I widened my stance, similar to how you position your feet...It really improved my weight transference and rhythm. I was really extending up and into the toss, my body naturally moving into the court on my follow through. Felt real good. It's a never-ending process. I'll continue to work at it. One day, I'll get there. Your instruction helps a lot. Keep it coming.

i tried this today and my poor record was 13. but i had immediately the feeling that this challenge might be very good training for consistency and technique at the same time, because when you are on your way to a new personal record, you really feel some pressure and you get a bit tight like in a match. would you recommend variations of this training, like how many flat serves down the middle, or wide on the douce court?

nice man! You should hit with more spin instead of so much power. go for the big kick. well done.
also your vein is bulging in the beginning of the video so it looks like you had a nice warm up hahaha

Its a pretty reliable judge in general. Its not like we are going to bring tape measure(erers?)s in our tennis bags.
