- Shocking new video footage allegedly shows P. Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Ventura’s lawsuit claims she tried to sneak out after Diddy, aka Sean Combs, passed out drunk. The famed music mogul allegedly woke up and went after her outside the hotel room when this incident was caught on surveillance camera. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the video.

It’s not that the person being abused doesn’t want to leave; oftentimes it’s that they literally can’t. And it is belittling to the person being abused to have people say things like “Just leave them!” or “Why didn’t you just leave?” These statements make it sound so easy, when in reality it’s one of the HARDEST decisions they’ll ever have to make. She was being abused and her husband was leaving for work every day. She left the house whenever, and always came home. And she admits that SHE decided not to leave. He probably rented the whole floor that is why no one came to her aid. I think this tape was probably in the items FBI confiscated from his home. No source was released. The video is incredibly defining. Her strength is beyond belief. I was with a guy for a few years who was very wealthy. Who would beat me and who had shoved a gun in my face tried to strangle me one day. I finally got away from him with a little bit of help. 33 years later I'm still living in hiding. I have never gone forth to the law in fear of being murdered by him or one of his friends as he was very connected.
