Your words make me proud and so glad..I'm italian too. English is foundamental, imho. Well the three of them speak English with Metha (not every time), and to communicate to the audience. When the three are alone, use to speak Italian, while the two spaniards talks spanish to each others. Their pronounce is not so great, particoulary Pav that couldn't be heard, the other two are much better, Carreras more. Anyway I enjoy listening to them talking, fortunately...I can understand them perfectly!
@inmylife9 Amusing isn't it? The two Spanish tenors have the most effort (hehehehehe.....) they speak to each other in their native tongue, they speak to Pav in Italian, then they speak to Mehta in English. I think Carerras has the better command of English. It has to be said he had some broadway repertoire like South Pacific and West Side Story and a lot of times you have to sing English clearly on them.
Wonderful singing from Pavarotti, Domingo and Carrerras, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
Watching great artists rehearse is as interesting and exciting as watching them in perfomance.
It is so fun to watch Mehta conduct. And he does it with a double orchestra and a format - three tenors - never done before. Maestro!
Qué maravillosa voz la de Domingo,
Bravisimos los tres. Superiores
greatest voices ever! great night that was! the football came second after this!

Luciano, I miss you!!!
...Jose Carreras' performance and playfulness are especially lovely, but the huge talent and collegiality of all three make this extraordinary.
Itt kezdődött ! Imádom őket !
Carreras-44
Pavarotti-54
Domingo-49
Each in his prime. How lucky we were to have this magic come together.
@@bethfiori4708 we were very lucky
Mehta's energy sustains this extraordinary collaboration. Wow.
Man glad you notice,great voice!!
Прослушала сыновей певцов. Ещё раз вспомнила отцов.Волшебно!!!

How old are they here??
Great voices! Sure! But perhaps you want to know have existed a man named Caruso... Great opera singer as well. Take a loot at him...
I wonder why he said AUSTRIAN AIRLINES unless it was because of Jutta ;)
hahahha
they rehearsed this concert for 4 years or am i missing something with the dates?
It would have been nice if Bocelli would be part of the team...would be a dream but now pavarotti is resting...=(
