‘Being Salmon Being Human’ by Chelsea Green is a good book on this. Thank you so much for articulating this. I believe the growing problems of depression and anxiety are the result of continuing and participating in a system that causes so much horror. we medicate these feelings away and maybe that’s why this system has been able to continue

Thank you, Rupert. I have felt so much eco-grief for years. To share it, to change our actions, and to fill ourselves with love of other life creations has become my new hope. Keep on with your wonderful work.

The time scale for habitat loss is much shorter than nearly all the 'eco experts' state.
Arctic Jet stream disruption = changes in normal weather patterns in the Northern hemisphere upon which crop production depends......and so there are growing crop losses.

People have seen fit to enforce social rules that flip my perspective. I don't have grief for this, rather it is one of the few things that brings me solace. Most people deserve it.

Eco-denial, leading to eco-confusion, will prevent eco-grief from having a significan impact. Eco-grief cant remove 1.6 teratons of greenhouse gass from the atmosphere. Eco-grief will only serve to make us more depressed as we watch humans add another 40 billion tons of co2 to the atmosphere each year until the collapse of everything, caused by runaway greenhouse, which is underway and accellerating, in case you didnt know.

No one would listen to God because western culture has only an intellectual conception (generated by a corrupt criminal cabal in Rome) of the divine but little to no perceptual insight into God’s infinite vastness that is beyond the frail human beings ability to grasp.
