I would love to see an Autumn typed without makeup. It's harder to see differences when makeup is filtering the face for the viewer. For example, I found the lip test very helpful on the Summer you analyzed - in worse colors you can see the lip appears too cool or warm, or fades into the skin or appears dull. In best colors the lips appear rosy and healthy like the cheeks. You can't make that assessment with lipstick on.
Hi, these are the autumns & winters that I've seen typed/ draped: for autumns: Darcie & Jannat Ara, for winters: Hyeri Vlog & HeyHershey. Xixiplease is a spring, ASMR Twix is a summer. All of them are dark haired & mostly POC.
@@colouranalysis_studio It was interesting to see how much effect the lip stick can have, it became the most visible feature of her face, and also the feature of the highest contrast in her face. I found it quite distracting that the lipstick is so obviously warm orange. It made it seem to me like her undertone actually looked like it could skew either way, made it hard to see the differences. So unfortunately in this one, it didn't help me to train my eye for seeing her best colors

As an autumn, I had to search everywhere to find a warm toned wedding dress, many years ago. Most were bright, almost frosty, white and washed me out completely. I just discovered your channel and I really like it! I have a question: Could you imagine making videos where you give advice on what clothes/make up are best for the different seasonal types? I just watched this video a second time after fixing my phone screen (it was set on a bright setting and I didn't know) and now I can absolutely see the positive effects of the True Autumn pallet! I thought it might have been my monitor that was causing me to not see it, and now that that is confirmed, I had to set the record straight. Well done, ladies. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos. I have been learning about colour analysis for over 10 years and have seen lots of people who seem to not have an eye for colour, but you two are great!
Please continue to post. These videos are great. They are helpful to those of us who are confused. I always thought I was a Winter - very dark hair with light skin. But when I started to go gray, nothing worked. After many videos, I am quite sure I am an Autumn. Because I have dark hair, most videos say I am a Dark Autumn. (I’ve colored it back to dark brown.) Yet sometimes I think they are too dark for my skin. Also black looks better than navy blue. Warm white is much better than true white. So please keep posting videos to help us out.
Thank you so much for your comment ♥️ unfortunately just an accurate analysis in person or online can tell the result. Some advices, when we are aging not only the hair becomes grey but also the skin and eyes intensity change. This means we become softer and potentially cooler. Having said that I’ll not recommend to dye the hair with the colour you used to have because since our complex changed that hair colour probably it’s not gonna fit with the more muted tones of our skin and eyes. Of course this is very generic and each case is different, so if you are interested in knowing more visit our website www.colouranalysis.au to book a session with us 🌈
it's a common error to dye greyed hair back to original youth colour, especially in a block colour, which is now at least 2 shades too dark for skin that has lost some pigment.
there are deep blues out there with yellow in the base, and even some that have purple. Those undertones become apparent when, like studying undertones in all things, you compare them to another navy and against pure white. Fabric stores with mirrors and natural lighting are one of the places you can try some draping on yourself.
French Kiss - I would agree with the comments below completely! I was extremely dark haired and dark eyed with light ivory skin and convinced I was a Winter until properly analysed in person years ago, and found I was a deep autumn. My colouring changed with age, which is why I went back for an update analysis. I had lost the depth, so the deep colours no longer worked, but had not cooled or softened enough to be a soft autumn, the warm autumn colours now worked best - which was a surprise to both me and the analyst! The only way to know your colours for sure, are to get analysed properly in person. Also, please do not dye your hair back to original colour, that looks hard against skin, a good analyst with help with advise about what colour to dye it, if you want to cover any grey.
I did not think the range of shades you used for Autumn soft were soft enough, they were too intense and that is why they looked Ok, but great analysis and the right conclusion!
I loved this! I am pretty sure i am also autumn, and my guess is autumn soft. Ive always had a natural eye for color, but sometimes i am scared of wearing colors so i have mostly stuck to neutrals/earth tones (which look great on us autumns, but it's not fun and exciting!) This is why I like hearing what experts have to say as it adds confidence to the understanding of color i already have.
Omg this was amazing! I never really understood how the colour analysis works but you explained it so well! ✨ I would love to see a soft autumn /soft summer 🍂🍁
Years ago I had color analysis with Color Me Beautiful. I’m an autumn for sure but I do borrow some colors from the spring palette. I really like the way your system breaks it down. Thank you. I look forward to more videos.

I wouod have always thought teal would be in the cool pallette.. now i googled and can see people say it can be worn by both warm and cool since it's a mix of green and blue
My skin has obvious blue undertones. Based on this color analysis, I would say that I've a deep winter. The clothes in my wardrobe that look best on me have blue undertones, blue-based, or are very deep, rich jewel tones. I've known for years that I was either a winter or summer, but wasn't sure which. This video helped me determine which I was.

This analysis helped me solidify that I am Autumn Warm! It was the steps of comparing Spring Warm, Summer Soft and Winter Deep. As an Aututmn Warm, I've always felt like I could easily borrow from the Autumn Deep and Spring Warm palettes. Before testing my seasonal coloring with drapes and seeing what really made me shine, I actually thought I was Autumn Deep... especially because my skin can look neutral-warm when you don't pay attention to how it reacts to draping. So to see how much Winter Deep is not as harmonious as Spring Warm (though they both are better than Summer Soft), it definitely harps to the fact that I am Autumn Warm. Pistachio greens and peachy corals are my best colors! I have not found a single blue that I can wear harmoniously... Some slightly blue-greens are justttt tolerable - meaning I must have next to no coolness. However, I also have an issue with yellows that aren't mustard or marigold-like... perhaps both the blue and the yellow issue is where me being an Autumn over a Spring comes in.
Zrobiłam analizę krok po kroku na sobie. Jestem prawdziwą jesienią w co nie do końca chciałam wierzyć. Wspaniały film. Pozdrawiam z Polski❤🎉🍁🍂☘️🌱🦩🦜🦊🍑🍊🥑
Great videos. I think every person should know their undertones. What I would love is seeing you do this on many people randomly. Welcome to TH-cam ladies🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I didn’t find the makeup distracting at all and I saw a huge difference with the undertones. She looks so sallow with the cool colours and so lifted and glowing with the warm colours. I like that you do explain that you must not wear makeup for a full colour analysis but of course here you already know Alessandra’s season! It was also so helpful that you explained that in Italian the word for colour analysis translates to “harmony of colours” which actually makes so much sense.
@@colouranalysis_studio Looking forward to it, thanks! I also watched the previous video and read the comments and the fact that you incorporated some of the suggestions from there like why the other seasons wouldn't work + the different whites was much appreciated, very informative and a great addition!
Great explanation of how to determine season and sub season. Best online. My only question is because i was draped in another system that has true autumn as the third category within autumn and “warm” as flow. I was told I wasn’t near any flow so was TA. But my dimensions are high level warm, mid to high intensity and low to mid value. Where would I sit in your autumn palette? I was a former auburn turned bright gray if that helps explain my intensity!
Super helpful! I'm almost sure I'm a deep autumn now. I hesitated bc in winter I can wear black and other deep cool colors (combined with warm base make up). In summer I tan so much I can wear warmer bright colors (never ever neon) .
I especially enjoyed seeing you go through the steps of confirming your findings of which season and subcategory. So helpful, thorough and comprehensive. I love your beautiful Italian accents. Such a treat. Thank you!

I live these videos! The way you have the lighting set up is perfect, we can see the changes on the screen. You both have lovely personalities too. The only thing I will say is that it’s harder to see the colors reflecting on the face when her chin is tilted upwards looking at you, and much easier to see when she looks down at the camera because the face is then angled so you can see the reflection of the color in her skin. Perhaps if the camera was a tad higher then it could still be seen even when her chin is tilted upwards? Not sure. But every time she looked back down I could see it much more clearly on camera! I love how you explained the sub-categories and how you decide them and rule them out, that is something that is missing from many videos on other channels. Thanks for such clear explanations, it has helped me understand the process!
Thanks for your comment ❤ we really appreciate your feedback regarding the camera setting and we will try to adapt it as suggested 🥲 really glad you like our method. Please consider to subscribe to our channel, more videos are coming very soon 🌈
Great video! I think I finally understand color analysis! I believe I am the same as Alessandra. However, now my hair has a lot of silver in it and it's thrown off some colors for me. I'm one of those that can wear silver or gold.
This channel is amazing! I love how you guys explain everything in great detail and compare with diffrent sub groups from the other seasons. I used to dress like a warm autumn/deap autumn and after doing my analysis with all my clothes and scarfes that i own i discovered i am a soft autumn. Since then i started wearing more colour in the soft autumn and soft summer palette and people started telling me how amazing soft dusty pink, soft sage green and soft blue looks on me. I stopped wearing black scarfes (headscarfes) for a long time and go for soft earthy neutral scarfes instead. One thing i learned from your other video is that one can wear a bit more intense colours when using make up and that is something i can attest to. I usually wear autumn deap colours for special occasions and with golden brown make up. It looks amazing. Without make up its a bit much, like deep red. One thing i would love to hear more about is styling outfits and general vibe of all Seasons and Subseasons. For a soft autumn i learned that intense matterns look very bad on me and basically those vintage, washed out matterned "granny" style clothes look amazing 🤣🤣🤣
This was extremely helpful. I always thought I was a Spring or a Summer because I have slightly neutral skin tone (tho more warm) and gray eyes (that's why everyone said Summer) but golden hair, and I realize now I am somewhere in the Autumn quadrant. My gray eyes are actually a dark gray-blue denim color with golden flecks that make them a little green.
your hair and eye colour play a part in helping to determine the amount of contrast; depth and intensity of your colouring but the skin is the most important factor. For instance winters almost always have natural black eyelashes and their hair is mix of black tones and browns, which is why they are the only season to look good in black - it's already there.
Hi. According to other analysts, when we age, we can get softer/ more muted. You can probably still wear the same colors (e.g. Leaf green) but use a lighter shade.
Can't wait to see you ask more clients to be in videos! I love seeing the skin really come to life, especially the cheeks. It's cool because you guys are opposite color tones! I would love to see you reverse this analysis as well! I would love to do this for myself, but i'm in the uk... I wonder if you have a branch here?
another thing i find facinating is that i always considered spring cooler pastel colors, and summer warmer brighter tones! It is really interesting to see them considered the opposite. I personally wear a lot of spring/ winter tones, but I added some autumn colors recently and have been getting lots of compliments! I wonder if i have been an autumn all along! My sister is definitely a spring, that i can see from this :) But i wonder if you could do a pale, light eyed (i have green), nordic blonde some day? I find my skin tone is warmer than some, but cooler than my olive skinned mother.

just sarted, i´m at the 3:38 and my hunch is WARM AUTUMN...she seems to be her best in warm, darker, muted colors... on this order of importance...let´s see if im right :)
@s baumgartner - Not everyone can wear royal blue (same case for black). I have warm undertone (80% sure that I'm true autumn) and royal blue doesn't look good on me. It drains the color from my face & enhances my eyebags. I've draped myself in royal blue, navy blue, cyan, turquoise blue. Navy blue looks best on me, followed equally by cyan & turquoise (they have yellow in them). Royal blue is my worst blue. I have lots of colors/ clothes in my closet so I was able to drape myself. It may not be 100% accurate but I'm happy with my autumn palette. I'm not a spring since those colors are too bright for me.
The instant and simultaneous "noh, nononononono, no" with some of the colors, I love them!

Also, I love how you say pistachio and how you both react to the wrong colors 😅
This is so so good. Please do deep winter versus deep autumn. Thank you
Armocromia is such a beautiful word!
Excited to see a second vid, Already subscribed and can't wait for more 🙂🌈
I'm guessing spring because I thought the peach salmon colour was more harmonious than the rust colour.
I won't say more, to avoid creating a spoiler for other viewers!
I had a giggle at your reactions to the lilac of soft summer 😁
Yes I'd love to see Alessandra analysing the colours of Julia.
@@hugbloom2664 Hi darling, thank you so much for subscribing! Stay tuned then, more videos are coming soon!
This is one of the best color analysis videos I’ve seen. Very clear.
Great job! look forward to seeing a Summer and Winter as well!! =)
Thank you! If you'd like to see Summer and Winter don't miss the next videos 💖
I just discovered your channel and I really like it! I have a question: Could you imagine making videos where you give advice on what clothes/make up are best for the different seasonal types? For example I know my color palette is summer, but it can be very difficult to pick out colours that are suitable. Keep going, I hope you get a lot of subscribers! I subscribed already :)
Hi Jasmin, thank you so much for subscribing! That's a very good idea, we added it on our list :) If you have specific questions feel free to reach out on Insta @colouranalysis_studio 🌈
These videos are so, so helpful! Honestly the best resource on color analysis I have found so far online. Can't wait to watch more videos from you!
Love you both! Yes, please analyze Julia-maybe already done? Will have to look❤️
I knew from watching you before she is warm undertone. I think the makeup in palette really makes a beautiful difference.
This is one of the best color analysis videos out there. Thank you!
I would love to see a soft autumn /soft summer 🍂🍁
I love this! I think I'm an autumn, but I never heard of the bright, deep, and soft. I'll look forward to more videos!
Years ago I had color analysis with Color Me Beautiful. I’m an autumn for sure but I do borrow some colors from the spring palette. I really like the way your system breaks it down. Thank you. I look forward to more videos.
thanks for your comment and for watching our videos. If you share colours with a spring palette, you would probably be an autumn warm in our method😍 stay tuned, more videos are coming
I changed my hair colour for the first and last time i needed this channel Thank you
I wouod have always thought teal would be in the cool pallette.. now i googled and can see people say it can be worn by both warm and cool since it's a mix of green and blue
Great videos!! 🎉 I’m finally understanding better thanks to you two ❤ More videos pls!!!
Thank you for subscribing! Sure thing, more videos are coming soon 🌈
This is fascinating!!! I just discovered your videos a few days ago, and yesterday i went and switched all my small jewellery to gold, and its an instant boost! Im so thankful you for showing us these analysis with such excellent explantions. Id love to book an international analysis when I've saved up. Thank you! And good luck! You both seem like such nice people so all the best

I love how clearly explained this is. Looking forward to having Giulia (and other people with cool seasons) analyzed!

Very good video. I am try to understand color analysis, and watched many, your videos are very informative and easy to understand and remember. I would go see you if you are in San Francisco.
Hi Nancy, thank you very much for your comment. We are based in Melbourne, Australia but we can analyse you online with the exact same method. Feel free to send us an email if you have any questions info@colouranalysis.au
17:53 I love how you both say 'soft-a' . I have a similar color palette to her. Warm. But she looks good to me in all the colors. I have a hard time with choosing the right colors.
I can see you rocking that Spring yellow in a super tailored, high-waist pant or even pantsuit, Alle! Great standout colour for the Spring racing carnival, too 🌼
Wow, it was most obvious to me with the blue and rust colors. Beautiful job ladies! 👏🏽
Can't wait to see more videos from you. How about a shopping trip - how to find good colors that may not exactly match your colors, but that harmonize with your seasonal palette?
Please make videos on cool vs warm colors or how we identify colors that warm or cool

Hello from Italy Alessandra and Giulia. Good luck with your videos, i really like the way you double check with the other seasons so you are absolutely sure. I' m Always a Little bit doubtful at the end, wondering if i' Ve done It well, but that' s an interesting way to make sure you' Ve done It right. I' l keep watching you. Keep It up...
Yes, I would love to see Alessandra analyze Julia's colors!
Stay tuned ♥️
Che bel video! Siete entrambi bellissimi e le informazioni sono molto uliti 🥰
Grazie mille Ava! 💖
Allesandra looks a bit like my doppelganger... and our color season match! So fun! Thanks for the video
Her undereye circles are more pronounced when you put cool colors on her.
Yeah it's so fascinating...with the warm colours, she doesn't really have any under eye shadow.. with the cooler colours she instantly shows a shadow 😮
love these videos! I had my color analysis done 4 months ago , I'm a warm spring.
thanks for your comment. Wow, what a beautiful season 🧡 please consider to subscribe to our channel and follow us on IG if you would like for more tips on colours 🌈
It was really helpful to see the summer and winter colours and why they didn't work. Thanks for this analysis, looking forward to more! 😊
Glad it was helpful ❤ more videos are coming very soon 🌈
Zrobiłam analizę krok po kroku na sobie. Jestem prawdziwą jesienią w co nie do końca chciałam wierzyć. Wspaniały film. Pozdrawiam z Polski❤🎉🍁🍂☘️🌱🦩🦜🦊🍑🍊🥑
Yes, I would like to see you switch roles. I am enjoying your videos. That pistachio looked AMAZING!
Thanks for your kind words ❤ We agreed, pistachio is one of the best colour for Ale 💚
Great videos. I think every person should know their undertones. What I would love is seeing you do this on many people randomly. Welcome to TH-cam ladies🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We agree ♥️ thanks for watching, stay tuned more videos are coming 🌈
I didn’t find the makeup distracting at all and I saw a huge difference with the undertones. She looks so sallow with the cool colours and so lifted and glowing with the warm colours. I like that you do explain that you must not wear makeup for a full colour analysis but of course here you already know Alessandra’s season! It was also so helpful that you explained that in Italian the word for colour analysis translates to “harmony of colours” which actually makes so much sense.
Amazing content, this is the first video in which I could see a difference in the colors vs the face. Fantastic job!
Glad you liked it! We will upload more contents soon ❤
@@colouranalysis_studio Looking forward to it, thanks! I also watched the previous video and read the comments and the fact that you incorporated some of the suggestions from there like why the other seasons wouldn't work + the different whites was much appreciated, very informative and a great addition!
@@apollidoe6651 thanks 🙏🏼 every single comment is very important for us ♥️ we listen and appreciate feedback
This video was extremely helpful and explained things really well.
yayyy my coloring. this is helpful, thank youuu
Hi. You would be autumn warm in their system. You can borrow colors from autumn soft & autumn deep/ dark.
Super helpful! I'm almost sure I'm a deep autumn now. I hesitated bc in winter I can wear black and other deep cool colors (combined with warm base make up). In summer I tan so much I can wear warmer bright colors (never ever neon) .
Subscribed! This was an excellent analysis, I watch a lot of them and your's is explained beautifully. So excited to see more!
Thanks for your support ♥️ stay tuned, more videos are coming very very soon
I especially enjoyed seeing you go through the steps of confirming your findings of which season and subcategory. So helpful, thorough and comprehensive. I love your beautiful Italian accents. Such a treat. Thank you!
Thank you so much for you beautiful comment 🥹 we are delighted that you enjoyed the video and we appreciate the compliment on our accent 🥰 stay tuned, more videos are coming very soon 🌈
STUPENDE, VI ADORO ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌💌
Great video! I think I finally understand color analysis! I believe I am the same as Alessandra. However, now my hair has a lot of silver in it and it's thrown off some colors for me. I'm one of those that can wear silver or gold.
even if you find both are ok, there will always be one that is better than the other
This channel is amazing!
Bravissime ragazze, ho finalmente capito come funziona l’armocromia. Continuate cosi! ❤
Grazie mille Elizabeth, gentilissima! ❤
I really enjoyed when you showed the colours as a background, it was so clear then which ones worked.
Thanks for your comment ❤ yes, we love using our drapes as background! Especially for the intensity fase, it really helps us 🌈
This was extremely helpful.
Thanks for commenting ♥️ in colour analysis skin always commands, we have seen winter with warm eyes for example. it’s not that easy as it seems 🌈
your hair and eye colour play a part in helping to determine the amount of contrast; depth and intensity of your colouring but the skin is the most important factor. For instance winters almost always have natural black eyelashes and their hair is mix of black tones and browns, which is why they are the only season to look good in black - it's already there.
Really enjoy your videos, can you do one for us aging ladies with greying hair? I no longer suit some of the colours I used to wear!
Hi. According to other analysts, when we age, we can get softer/ more muted. You can probably still wear the same colors (e.g. Leaf green) but use a lighter shade.
The better colors/tones are very apparent- well done ! A fun and educational video.
Thank you, very helpful!😊
I’ve been watching a lot of videos on this and you guys are great! Thank you. I can’t wait for more.
Thanks for watching our videos ❤ please consider to subscribe to our channel and to follow us on IG. Stay tuned more videos are coming very soon 🌈
great analysis, I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for more videos!
Hi Madelaine, thanks you for your comment. Stay tuned, more videos are coming soon! We offer online sessions too, so if you want to be analysed by us we can do it online, the method is the same xxx

Your accents are beautiful!!!
Very good video! I never knew this type of analysis existed. You two make a great team!
This is the best explanation I have ever seen of colour analysis
Great video! The showing of the different drapes very useful
just sarted, i´m at the 3:38 and my hunch is WARM AUTUMN...she seems to be her best in warm, darker, muted colors... on this order of importance...let´s see if im right :)
YAAYY i got it
This is so helpful! Thank you for sharing your process! This is the first time it makes sense to me!
You've done an excellent job of explaining colour analysis. I thought everyone could wear royal blue, but maybe the shade varies.
Amazing channel....also she somehow reminds me of Princess Katherine😮
