I got the same error but then I changed my name to the bank. Same as on the pf portal they want a full name printed on the cheque book as mentioned on UAN... If pf portal has full name and in cheque book middle name is not mentioned then also it got rejected.. so friends pls check carefully

Will this result in my claim being rejected?

My claim was rejected with the following statement: 1) IFSC CODE DIFFERS WITH CLAIM FORM & ENCLOSED CHEQUE RECTIFY AND RESUBMIT THE FORM 2) UAN CLAIM CANCELLED CHEQUE NOT AS PER KYC BANK DETAILS. I had to change the IFSC code on EPFO account to match the IFSC code on my cancelled cheque. To do this, I went to EPFO website ->Manage -> KYC -> Add KYC -> Select Bank. The bank details section will appear. We need to add our account number, reconfirm account number and bank IFSC code. You will receive OTP to your registered mobile number which you need to type in. Then give the website consent to authenticate your details and click save. When you save it, you will notice that the "KYC Pending for Approval" section will get updated and an entry would have been created. Typically, the status of that entry will mention "Pending with Employer for digital signing". Now, you can follow up with the HR team of your company and ask them to approve this. When you message your HR team or send them the email, attach the canceled cheque with the correct IFSC code so that they can verify the details as well. When the HR team approves, the entry should move from "KYC Pending for Approval" to "Currently Active KYC" on the EPFO account. At this point, you can again reapply for the PF claim with the correct IFSC code. Hope this helps.
