I adopted my son from Korea. Hope you are happy there! Please don't forget to call your mom in America often! I'm sometimes scared my son will forget me when he finds his biological mom.

That’s what it seems like. Hope he can convince us potential adopters that our work is not for nothing. Because he didn’t see any Asians or enjoy the Jewish Sunday school from his childhood. I hope he doesn’t take it out on his adoptive parents. Because if it weren’t for them, he’d not have the education he has, his moral character or a feeling of belonging for all those years. I get scared from videos like this because there’s no appreciation. Or if there is, it’s not shown in these videos. I wish he’d show us how he interacts with them. I’m sure put our minds at ease. That all the years of loving, teaching and caring for them didn’t go to waste. He has said he gets on with his adopted family. It’d be nice to see them too. If not for them, who knows who he’d be today.
Ness E Hey, came across your comment from a year ago. I think if you’re interested in adoption, should maybe consider the adoptee’s perspective (aka. your future child’s perspective). With every successful adoption story, there’s also the flip side of identity issues and sadness. If you’re looking for appreciation from adoption or from having a child, maybe you should reconsider your reasons for adoption. I also don’t think it’s up to him/an adoptee to a show his interactions with his adoptive parents. People can feel however they want to feel.

5개월에 입양이라니 ... 아이엄마로서 정말 마음이 아프네요 ㅜㅜ 어떤 사정인지 몰라도 아이를 반나절만 못봐도 궁금하고 보고싶고 그립던데... 아이도 엄마를 하루종일 보고싶어하던데... 다행히 좋은 부모님 다시 만나고 멋있게 성장하셔서 제일 처럼 기뻐요! 바라시는대로 한국과 미국 양쪽에 살곳이 있어서 자유롭게 사시길 바래요~^^
I really hope BenDeen will meet his biological parents soon and have a great time in Korea! I've never experienced what u went through, but I kind of understand ur life in America. It's really hard to live in another country with a different physical appearance.
Its interesting to think that BenDeen feels self-conscious at times in Korea, but in my mind he in probably one of the coolest Koreans I've ever seen and actually a Korean super star as far as I'm concerned lol
