Peleliu Assault Approach

Peleliu assault approach from water. Film starts with fire from forecastle of destroyer escort (3-inch gun) and LCI-79 (landing craft) firing 20mm cannon as it approaches the beach. Landing crafts and Landing Vehicles Tracked (LVTs) also approach. The film finishes with offloading of equipment and shots of assault fleet offshore under harassing fire.
