- Toji, Geto, and Kenjaku all failed lets explore why.
I used manga animations from @luclds @eleyn @fyemaj @Dojo_z @judas @animaran.
I meant to say Inumaki and Panda not "Inumaki and Toge"
The intro and the Kenjaku section was edited by Khubaibimran
The rest was Saintskii
Hope you enjoyed, Thank You
If you want more JJK enjoy my Yuji Power Up Video that I forgot to Upload: • My (LATE) Yuji Powerup...
Imo their only weakness wasn't a certain character; it was arrogance
Toji? He said it himself, "I thought I had cast aside such petty pride"/"I Thought I had let go of that pride", his pride and overconfidence got him killed.
Mahito? Got overconfident because of his new form and got outsmarted.
Kenjaku? Got too invested in his own shenanigans, put too much faith in his views for yuta and got snuck up on.
Sukuna? not really, but; He was too confident that Yuji wouldn't be able to rival him at all. Even when it was right infront of him, quite literally hitting him in the face; He still tried to throw Yuji and his will to win as a whole to the side. And in the end, it was Yuji who put him down for good.
Almost forgot Gojo, although he isn't a villain his pride and overconfidence in his own victory is what led him to that airport.
Isn't Gojo actually realized he just never be able to beat Sukuna in the 1st place tho?
@ShatteredGlass916 not really? In the context of how their fight went if he didn't stand perfectly still for the wcs then sukuna would've lost for certain.
@@ShatteredGlass916
Gojo's case is that he became arrogant towards the end. He thought Sukuna, already standing on his literal last leg, was done for. So he kept yapping about how he improvised everything, and thought Sukuna would just stand there, listening to him before killing him.
He became arrogant that he could beat the King of Curses without preparation.
When he died, he thought "nevermind, perhaps I couldn't actually beat him. He didn't even use his own CT against me..." Not realising he didn't do so, cause he couldn't.
- to Gojo's POV, Mahoraga was used to have Mahoraga bypass infinity and kill Gojo for Sukuna. Which can also be why he thought by killing Mahoraga, he was still safe standing there.
- To Sukuna's POV, Mahoraga was used to learn how to bypass Infinity, because Sukuna can't harm Gojo.
It's something most fans of Sukuna don't want to see, knowing that Gojo was actually stronger and only lost because he got lost in the sauce.
@@baligong3592 MANGA SPOILERS
Sukuna also used Megumin as a shield against Gojo. Sukuna was so fraudulent that he couldn't directly beat Goatjo in a 3v1 while The Honored One is trying to keep Megumin alive, and had to wait for him to become The Yapping One to get a sneak attack in.
The thing is Gojo wasn't arrogant, but rightfully confident. We were literally told by the narrator that Gojo had won the battle at the end.
The only thing that we and Gojo couldn't account for was Sukuna hitting Gojo with a binding-vowed WCS. Of course, it was built up over the battle, but Gojo had no clue of that.
The only TRUE fumble of a villain was Kenjaku. Idk wtf that was
I have to disagree with you there, Kenjaku’s always been a silly guy and if you view the fight in the same way as you view Gojo vs Sukuna I promise you it becomes even better
bro I loved him so much but his whole arc fell like a flop when he just.. vanished after Yuta killed him
like I know he was dead but really??? 1000 years for nothing??
@@never_seeitcoming4686 Kenjaku’s goal was literally to have fun, he even says as much that if his last moments were spent toying with Takaba then it wasn’t so bad
@@Truly.Quincho he says that because he wouldn’t actually see the merger, but he still believed it would happen. If he didn’t have absolute confidence sukuna would win then why would he make himself vulnerable at all
@@never_seeitcoming4686 Y’all need to get over the merger icl, it was NEVER going to happen it’s the most unrealistic thing in all of JJK. Especially when a condition is literally for the MAIN CAST to die, but yeah he had a backup plan for it. He was still satifised with the way he died, as I mentioned he’s a silly guy all of this was literally for fun 😭
The very disappointing thing for me was Geto not coming back. We had the tease in shibuya that he can still take back the control of his body. When Gojo was rescued and went straight to Kenjaku I was certain that Geto was gonna take over for a while again, that's what happened the last time he saw Gojo, during the prison realm seal. But nah, it just went nowhere. He really suffers from being killed off in jjk0. It's also a shame that we didn't get to see his life between premature death and jjk0. He built this cult, met all these people who became his "family" and were willing to follow him, Miguel, Larue, Suda. I wish we saw their backstories, how they met Geto and why did they join him? Despite Geto dying very early there was so much potential, wasted...
Gege explained that it wasnt Geto taking control it was like a bodily instinct when they saw Gojo in trouble which is why Kenjakj goes on to yap about the body’s memories
@gbemade So why didn't it happen again ever?
@TheGreatLordDIOIt caught him off guard because it hadn’t happened before, we can assume that he was more prepared the next time he saw Gojo. The fact of the matter is Geto’s soul had FULLY crossed over, Kenjaku’s takeover wouldn’t have worked if it hadn’t.
I love how the plan to take down kenjaku and sukuna was to get them in over their head, feed their ego and make them comfortable until they go passed the point of no return. I really liked the fights and the ending of jjk
This is a great video and made me actually reevaluate how I felt about the defeat of Geto and helped me come to terms with how Kenjaku was defeated just a little bit more.
I'm glad! I love the defeat of Geto because alot of the times villains like him with admirable goals are Villains because they'll take on any means to reach an end but Geto is both that and not that which is why he fails . but although I found Kenjakus defeat satisfying, I still wanted more from that character, since I dont think people just end up like that, just doing horrible stuff because they want to. I wish we got more background to his depravity at least more then "hes old" so I probably understand where your coming from . Glad you enjoyed
Edit and analysis was really good! The memes weren’t over the top to the point is was distracting. I enjoyed this video
You forgot Yhwach when mentioning antagonists who are at max strength who lose to bullshit
Trust me I wanted to but Ian wanna spoil Bleach anime fans LMAOO
@@doncroc3765In theory it’s a cool idea, that Yhwach’s cruelty towards his own people, the Father’s callous disregard of his own Children, is what defeats him. But in practice it sucks.
@@nicodemusedwards6931yeah I agree and I think that's because Kubo didn't have enough time to fully execute it
I think we hold off on that till the anime does it since they have been changing things up alot. But yeah manga ending was rush so Kubo had to pull something out his ass
this video fucking rocks. i love this. but god does the title and thumbnail give me rage. i thought this was just gonna be 20 mins of u talking trash about kenny and the villains but u doubled my love for them and deepened my understanding. u made it rage bait on purpose didn’t you? you evil genius chef you
Ohhhh I see what you mean, cuz you could read the thumbnail and title in a meta textual way like "this is why the villains in JJK suck gege did a bad job" but I more meant it in a narrative way like like "this is why every villain in JJK loss and why it felt so sastifying" and Those two interpretations could not be further apart LMAOO yup I did this on purpose (complete accident) but I'm just glad you clicked and enjoyed.
Kenjaku still wanted to complete the merger. fighting takaba didnt fulfil him. he says it himself. takaba didnt make up for 1k years worth of planning
No, that was a mistranslation. He actually said that the past 1k years had not been much fun but that he was happy he got to play with Takaba in the end, so the exact opposite in fact. He didn't feel fulfilled until he met Takaba, and was happy he was able to experience him before he died.
Both the VIZ translations and TCB translation completely butchered the entire Takaba vs Kenjaku fight. I advice people to read the shishiso scans for that fight. Completely changes a lot of context and the narrative, it also explains every single comedic reference in the notes
@@VG_164he literally says “my will shall be passed on”
😭😭😭😭
If he was fulfilled he wouldn’t send tengen to sukuna
He was literally about to die anyway
@@yaboiplank6764 That was just him being a troll. That's why mocks Yuta about how "fun" he would have it. He wanted to see the merger, but he was fine with going out after his fight with Takaba. That is the take away here.
The villain deaths were underwhelming.
Kenjaku was clearly either the worst main written villain of the cast or the worst ending, I care nothing for him sadness, fear , excitement, hatred , envy , nothing , a stop gap character made to look like a “main villain” , he could have been replaced with a b-Tek Aizen and it wouldn’t matter ,so bad
All his plot threads were done mostly really badly, his all nations talk pointless, most of the other things in the side , Yuji, Toji, I’m sure they are others but that’s how little I care for him, JJK really fell my hand
Just to add Sukuna fell off too. He literally became a brawler for the last arc and Gege clearly changed his stats to pan out the story. Man went from being an offensive beast to more of a durability type who throws hands. This video is making excuses.
It's truly sad because Kenjaku is my favorite character in fiction 😔
At least with WOU from Jojolion (another controversial villain), you could at least tell what Araki was _trying_ to say something interesting! (he just fumbled with the lack-of-details)
Kenny literally took most of his coolest feats from other, more interesting people only to fridge their development in the process.
(He did give Takaba a super fun fight, but ngl that could’ve been done about just as well with anyone else.) (Imagine if somebody like Mahito or Jogoat fought Takaba?)
Reading comprehension in my jujutsu kaisen? Impossible.
Every jjk fan believes shubuya was the end of peak jjk
Every villain death in shibuya and before was done very well.
The culling games and shinjuku just couldn't reach those heights
CG had no main villain, it was a battle royale, and the heroes lost
Shinjuku, Sukuna had a great ending. Its pretty much only Kenjaku and Kashimo that had rushed endings
Hell na Sukuna ending was ass af terrible choice for a final villain
@Tupadre97 quickly! Tell me why it was ass, and not with a subjective metric, explain narratively, plot wise or character wise! Go!
Only people who never took time to understand what the series actually was say this. Shibuya is nowhere near the peak of the series
@animecatalog9194 multiple fights that were completely pointless such as sukuna vs kusakabe and hand guy and Miguel or even having the side panels of hakari and uruame the fight of kishimo not actually adding anything other than to cause sukuna to transform which he would have against the rest of the cast anyways since he was so weak. These fights sukuna had could have been removed and the story would basically stay the same on top of this during the fight there is so much setup for background info for sukuna, uruame, and even kenjaku but we get nothing. Then at the end of the fight we get a huddle from the cast that survived and we find out about the simple domain style and the removal of the original owner of the pact and now kusakabe is the leader then just a jump to the crew stopping some no name but kinda showing gojos ideals. There is so much in the sukuna fight that could have been handled differently or story added and we got none of it. As a fight it's fine there are plenty of hype moments yutas domain maki and her backstab and yuji with his black flash chain but even after all of these things they don't feel like they have any weight till literally the end when nobara even shows up to help. All that damage done by yuta maki and the rest of the crew feels very shallow when uruame says that he's not even trying personally I think what they are saying is bs but that's just me and as a reader as per raw sukuna never takes the fight seriously and looses just due to thinking he could tank yujis punches and not have his soul seperate not even due to fighting and giving it his all.
1:54 Just found this channel, i already love the taste in music.
(Someone Is Always Moving On The Surface- FreQuency Edit)
AC4 soundtrack is really up there with the best of them
@@doncroc3765
Glad to see it recognized, I can hear the tracks from a mile away.
Damn, the editing on this video is great
Unrelated to the video content, but I liked how you included the Armored Core soundtrack "Someone is always moving on the surface". I absolutely love that one.
YOOOOO, Armored Core 4 For Answer might have the best soundtrack ever, Crazy that you noticed
Kenjaku's personal flaw isn't the flaw of the entire mad scientist troupe. Characters like Orochimaru or Bowndred (the one of Made in Abyss, I'm probably mispelling his name) are loyal to their causes, to the motives that originate their experiments, to an extreme degree.
It's a great perspective you got here.
Aint know way you only got 11 views and two comments
1.4k views too
Oh Kenjamin
Still pissed we got no backstory for this character, or any interaction between him and yuji.
Kenjaku right. I agree that was the biggest fumble. I like how Gege made him lose it was nice but it couldve been more. Like how did he become a person so disconnected except for his own intrest
imo the manga has always been a character driven one. early on it had a myriad of strong characters with great backstories for you to invest in. that's why people love the likes of Yuta or Gojo. that's also exactly the reason why Toji worked so well as a foil in Gojo's story. however, the flaws of below-average quality of storytelling, poor ability system, and an overabundance of irrelevant characters have always been there. once all the intriguing aspects of the manga has been thoroughly explored, you have nothing left to sink your teeth into.
12:50 "the death of inumaki and toge" dawg
BROOO YOU WERENT SUPPOSED TO NOTICE THAT Lmaooooo
@doncroc3765 no one disrespects the true 🐐 w o me noticing
What do you mean dude Kenjaku is literally worse fumble than Maďara
Nah it’s not because kaguya LITERALLY comes out of nowhere and makes them all space aliens idk what the author was smoking during that
"an eleven at home" does HE know that??😂
Kenjaku is the biggest Flop in villain history, I even forgot about him.
Nah toji was hoed
Mf didn't even know hollow purple
W Matthew Malloy reference
WOAHH see not to many people caught that you a real one
they're generic anime villains and they died as such
thought bro had at least 100k subs
The reason why Kenjaku died was cause he got busy with the comedian guy and Yuta knocked em'
also one of the reason was that lil bro thought he slick and could get away with everything (though he made greatest strategies I'll give you that.)
Is Gege's writing actually fire!!??!??
no
The way gege did kenjaku was just God awful writing the way he was meeting riding yutap becauee hes one of his fan favorites

Enjoy the patchnotes you bastards, now everyone you've mocked is going to get your plot armor. Nice, I like the connections you made
Brother you've got far more than just my attention.
Please, for the love of god (and anime) don't post-process the anime footage you include in your videos in weird ways that make no (apparent?) sense 🙏.
For instance, I'm just confused at Kenjaku's right hand at 15:30 morphing that much between each frame with no sensible in-between frames (?).
Thanks for this video nevertheless
The last quarter to 1/3 of the story was hot garbage. I dont need everything explained but so much that was crucial was abandoned. Can we please get an actual reason as to why kenny spent 1k years plus doing all this? How did it start?
what a bait of a thumbnail
stole my video idea bro
2:10 Madara one wasn’t BS.
Definitely was lmao. The Kaguya insertion was so bad
@ there were many foreshadowing btw also she’s well developed in Boruto.
@ Boruto is a completely different story from Naruto. And no the foreshadowing wasnt good enough to write Madara out of the story that way. Don’t make him that strong if you cant write your way out of it. Such a horrible end to Madara. Madara who had been talked about since naruto part 1, was the entire plot of the story, while Kaguya is retconned in late
@@skytheemperorboruto time travel made me rewatch og Naruto and never pick up boruto again
@ Then you’re not a real Naruto fan.
