When my grandfather passed , we didn't care for his companion that he was with for years but as a family we went to the funeral to pay our last respects. It wasn't about his lady friend or us it was about my grandfather. Those sisters &their mom were pure selfish and believe me they will regret it when guilt starts to settle in.

I watched their show and I was instantly drawn to Traci. She made that show because she was so real, fun, humble and supportive of all of her sisters. I noticed that she didn't get the same level of support as a Toni, Tamar and even Trina. My sincere condolences to lil Kevin, Big Kevin, Daddy Braxton and Michael Braxton, Traci's brother.. Also to the rest of the family.. The Braxton Family will never be the same without Traci. Finally, a big shout out to Lil Kevin. The speech he delivered at his mother's service today was very good. He was clearly hurt but so well spoken and honored Traci in the most special way.. That is what unconditional love looks like...

It’s funny to me that Ms. E basically hated everyone but Vince (I guess because they financed a lot of her lifestyle). However despite the issues Traci and Surrat had in their marriage they both chose to stay together. Traci had the longest standing marriage of them all. It was also clear to me that when Traci decided to remain in communication with their dad, Ms. E took that as disrespect. Truth be told all but Tamar were grown when it happened and children, grown or not, have no place in the marital problems of their parents. I do not believe the way which the sisters behave with and around their mom is not showing respect, honestly it comes across as fear. After reading Toni’s book, I got the impression that religion was used to inspire fear along with verbal and emotional abuse.
Ms. Evelyn taught her girls how to hate their father in the show Tamar wanted the father around. You never bring your children into a divorce she made her children choose her over their father that was so wrong. Ms. Evelyn a pastor and not have forgiveness at this time is questionable.

Traci's sisters should have been there to honor her and to love on Traci's son and grandbaby regardless of their feelings about Traci's husband. I lost two sisters, four aunties and friends to cancer but we all honored their memories with love.

I asked my sister when she passed away from cancer in 2016. I told her I hate seeing you in pain, suffering and hurting. What are you hanging on for and she said you all. She said I am going to miss my sisters. Myself and another sister were sitting there with her. We said you can go, we will be ok. We don’t want to see you suffer anymore. She passed away a few days later.

The Husband and Son had the final say on Traci's wishes. The Mother and Sisters probably didn't attend because they had no "legal rights on any say so" and became angry because they couldn't take over with their wishes. I remember years ago my sister who was very judgemental and high on a horse at the time .. said I reminded her of Tracy.. at the time I was insulted and felt it was shady because she was struggling with weight, begging to be loved and accepted by her sisters and had the cruel marquee “wannabe “ by her name first season.. but now I couldn’t be more proud to be called Tracy .. she was a strong, beautiful and a survivor and I am so glad she found her strength to be who she was and loved those who loved her and saw her worth and it is not always family .
That is funny, because I always likened myself to Traci. I wish I had her beauty and her beatiful body -- but I've always felt like an outcast and I still do. It is OK, because I know I am accepted by Jesus Christ and that is all that really matter.

Siblings have ups and downs. I believe they regret those negative moments, and I believe they all loved each other even when they didn't like each other. Just like many of us, they took each other for granted and didn't consider death.
I didn’t know all of this happened. Kevin possibly distanced himself because he didn’t like how Traci was treated. She forgave them but he didn’t forget. Iyanla tried to help them and some of the family members later bashed her for not “fixing them”. I also remember when Tamar and Toni were acting dumb regarding a concert they agreed to do together with Traci then cancelled. Traci’s manager knew they were lying but he just kept it cool. I guess he wanted Traci to figure it out on her own. Lastly, Traci is the ONLY ONE who had a successful, loving marriage. Seems like Kevin is a good guy.

Yes Diva, My Aunt died and I don’t talk to her husband for about 20 yrs and I showed up at her funeral and showed out for my precious aunt. He even left my picture off the program and I was the only one left off but I’m at peace with myself.

Traci was the funniest always made me smile when I watched the show from the start! 🙏🏼 The family really needs to embrace her son because if you truly love God and her (your daughter, sister) then you must do right by them. He needs all of you! At the end of the day does all the small stuff matter, it's about him right now, not about any of you. You have a second chance to learn from mistakes you made the way you treated her, make it right with her son! It's always one in everyone's family that acts out especially when a family member passes! Respect and honor TRACI'S wishes, whatever she wanted done is the instructions for her. That part was taking care of by Traci period. I'm glad you all's Dad was there.
Those sisters have always not all of them but for the most part They have always disregarded Traci request. That’s why she made her son in charge because she knew they would disregard her request.
Traci spoke about her sisters and mother cousin-sister treatments that they always show her. And we the viewers witness that on TV. So to see the disregard of Traci's last wish for her son and husband to carry out on her passing...it's a shame and dishonored to the disease. After watching BFV it seemed her sisters and her mother didn't think that highly of her. They seemed to be embarrassed of her. I felt sorry for Traci so many times watching them on television. To me Tamar was the worst towards her. ( I'm happy to hear she was there for Traci towards the end of her life). Now that was my honest observation of their reality tv show.
Tamar expressed many times publicly that she’s her “favorite” and that she “feeds her soul & makes her whole”. When her weight was mentioned, Tamar went to work out with her. Tamar also added her to her shows, so that she could promote her music. It’s also said in this video that she went “above & behind”. It’s like y’all choose to look at the not so good moments on a tv show, and just ignored everything good. 🙄

I just went through cancer treatment and I have four sisters and one brother..to think that if for reason I don't make it ..my family not being there for my children is just awful..this has really upset me..RIP TRACI
Traci was the odd ball out. She never divorced, was the closest to their father, wasn't afraid to challenge their mother, and pointed out Tamar's behavioral issues.
This is what happened with Towanda. Her “boo” got upset about the story getting out him being pervish. That probably caused a big issue with them so she took it out on you. Of course she threw Traci under the bus to validate her anger. Honestly I’ve never cared for Towanda

I was so heartbroken about this. I cried when I heard Traci died and when I heard that the family did not attend the funeral, smh. Her son needed all of them and Thank God for his Dad. When my sister died we were there for my nephews and my brother-in-law. This is crazy.

Now I noticed Evelyn is posting all these pictures of Traci and the grandson. I can’t with her does she hate men that much. Kevin and Traci had to have something special to be together that long. How can any type of service be done for your daughter or sister and you not attend their funeral is unimaginable. My mother would have been at every service for me especially with the world loving me, she would have been proud and bragging. I don't care how many people talk about GOD and sing about GOD don't mean they know GOD. Let's keep Traci son going he needs us.

Mama Evelyn should've been at her daughter's funeral holding her grandson's hand, even rolling in a wheelchair or from a hospital bed. Traci's husband is not their blood...so he should not be their excuse.... I have nothing against them, but watching their show for years, I saw how they treated Traci like a outcast as if they have more values and above Traci. They're lashing out because of guilt that the world witness how threated their sister when she was alive.

That baby boy needs his aunties and grandmother. I’m a grown 45 year old women. I held my mothers hand until she took her last breathe. I also, gave my angel permission to go. It was the hardest thing I ever said but I knew she needed to hear that! Braxton women get to him!!! It’s traumatizing to see your mom die of CANCER! All those men need you!

Hate to say it but really don’t - Evelyn is so bitter and jealous that her ex moved on and that Traci still showed love to her father AND Ms. Wanda (I think that’s Braxton’s wife’s name) and refused to go so she wouldn’t have to see them. Evelyn will never accept the fact that Braxton left her for another women and will continue to make it her duty to be bitter and make sure her daughters come to the bitter petty party with her.

I was done with the Braxton's because of how they treated Traci. I haven't watched Family Values every since they went against Traciand left her doing the show by herself..You know the saying, The Lord takes the Good first. And those triff sisters did exactly what I thought. Shame. Shame they should all feel shame...And Toni has forgotten she has a movie coming out this Saturday on Lifetime which I will not give her my support now...its sad. But those women will live to regret this.
I watched this entire Memorial and I cried! It was for about three hours and I saw the entire service! It was beautiful! He did not bring his mother ashes on stage they were given to him on stage! It was sad!
