When the model got stabbed and murdered it was spoken on in this very podcast. From you call it industry then chat then you should’ve touched on this earlier, this is close to home and ppl are shook. The BBC other media outlets reported the incident, but you can’t.

Certain things you don't need to discuss online when its outside of certain boundaries just for the sake of entertaining an audience that don't have principles or understanding of certain things. Nowadays if someone dies and you're close to that individual people will question you if you don't post anything online. That's ridiculous. You can be doing the most to help or support someone behind the scenes but if you don't show it to people they'll assume you either don't care or you're doing nothing. That's dead. I can understand if you lot decided not to talk about this, everything isn't supposed to be discussed on the internet, especially when it's something like this.

They're really making things complicated. Marmite is not the way you speak or your behaviour. Marmite is a British food spread produced by Unilever. You either really like it or you hate it. No one says "ehhh i don't really like marmite but its good with some toast". Its delicious or disgusting - no in between. People either really like poet for who he is (that covers how he conducts/expresses himself) or they don't. Its pretty simple. Also, people don't just come here to see Poet...Chuckie is there too so it is very possible to say you don't particularly like watching someone and still watch them.

Poet made a serious point at the start. We are allowing people who are not part of the community or culture to dictate the narrative of the culture. You see it in all these british DJ Akademik clones. They are from Off-Endz, they make dumb videos like "Top 10 Wettest MCs in the Drill Scene," and they perpetuate the worsts stereotypes about our music. They value the music and culture based on the most negative aspects of working class, London life. Poet is the realest.

I understand what Poet is saying in a sense. I myself refer to an older version of Poet when I speak on him presently. Poet has made some statements in the past that affect my view of him today. And maybe that is the issue, viewers aren't receptive to the changes Poet has made. He can be a dominating character and Chuckie lets his opinion rock, much to some peoples dislike. I think balance would make this podcast more palatable. I myself didn't watch/listen to a few shows/podcasts because of Poet, but I can hear a shift in the way he speaks and articulates himself.

Just to clarify...saying "the birth of what we do comes from a stuggle" is an example of this. Isn't Poet a Presenter mostly?...not sure how being a media personality (or the birth of it) equates to any kind of struggle. We all struggle.
