i dont know any thing about fillet but it says to follw bitiths standard. my plate thickness is 150mm and presure is 160 bar. what should be the fillet sizes?
what are the condition to select 1 miter weld,2 convex weld 3 concave weld and how these three can be welded to achieve required shape as in practice it is difficult to get these three varied shapes
@@Varunkm110 Sorry Varun for delayed reply, bit busy with work. You can try leaf type Weld Fillet Gauge. Just Search Leaf Type Weld Fillet Gauge on google. Leaf type gauge directly shows you leg length of weld. you will see variety of leaf gauges available. The size which fits your weld profile is the leg length. you don't need to remember every factor, just calculate this :- cos(max angle/2) ex:- cos(90/2) = 0.707 cos(100/2) = 0.642 cos(106/2) = 0.601 cos(113/2) = 0.551 cos(120/2) = 0.5 😉
फार उपयुक्त व्हिडिओ आहे.
Thanks for information🙏🙏
Great. Keep watching... 😀
Thanks for sharing this kind of videos for understanding well about industrial welding..

Sir for 3 inch pipe dia how to take leg length at 90 degree
Which joint you talking ? Is it pipe to pipe fillet joint ?
Yes fillet weld

If leg length is different how to calculate
Engineering diagram they mentioned 6mm fillet weld...this 6mm leg length or throat length ?
Sir can you please tell me how to achieve throat thickness in SAW in 1F position? If I try to achieve it my leg length increases.
saw machine slow and current high
If sketch was provide for angles between it might clear more and easy to understand
you don't need to remember every factor, just calculate this :- cos(max angle/2)
ex:-
cos(90/2) = 0.707
cos(100/2) = 0.642
cos(106/2) = 0.601
cos(113/2) = 0.551
cos(120/2) = 0.5
😉

3:34
3:45 3:45
Where did 0.707 come from?
cos(90/2)
👍
