Getting into IISc is much easier as compared to getting out of it - words of almost all phd scholars. Rest, those who do not have boundary comdition of age and are willing to learn will always prefer IISc over any other institue in India(world)*

There could be 1 to 4 days gap between the two rounds. They will inform you about it through email. One instance I personally know was like this:- 1st round was scheduled on 13th to 15th May and 2nd round was scheduled on 16th and 17th May. So, for example, your 1st round of interview was conducted on 13th or 14th or 15th then 2nd round will be conducted on 16th or 17th. 1st round dates and time will be mentioned on your call letter. If you clear the 1st round then w.r.t above example you will be notified about it on the 15th evening. And then 2nd round will be conducted either on 16th or 17th. This can change from year to year. But this was the case with me.
I did my Masters degree in Optometry and Vison Sciences. We don't have National Eligibility Tests for it. Am I still eligible to apply for CNS? Kindly let me know. There are several allied health students with no national eligibility test for PhD particularly in India. Your answer to my query is highly appreciated. Thank you

After that, you can opt for any specialization for Masters, be it Neurology, Psychology, Psychiatry, Neuroscience, etc. But in case you wanna do BS-MS instead, better join some research institute and pursue a project in Neuroscience.

It's almost impossible to get phd completed within 5 years in IISc. Don't know much about in foreign.
Getting into IISc is much easier as compared to getting out of it - words of almost all phd scholars.
Rest, those who do not have boundary comdition of age and are willing to learn will always prefer IISc over any other institue in India(world)*
