Hi we changed our cartridge in our strobe 4seater but it is still saying change the cartridge after it’s been done tested the salts they are all ok does anyone know how to sort this please

Does anyone have this system working? I’m on my 4th cartridge in one year’s time hoping that one will work. I perform the functions as instructed but the salt water strips indicate that there’s no salt, yet the system always reads inactive due to high salt. The last time I changed one I added only 1/2 cup of salt instead of the recommended 4 cups to start with and same result.

This salt water system cost you about $100 a month with the faulty salt cell cartridges they sale you. Worst 15k I ever spent. Then blame the water chemistry but my levels were fine and test 2-3 weekly to be sure after it lasted a month. So frustrating a company can do this.
What they don’t tell you is you can clean these cells by soaking in White vinegar overnight. I have used the same cartridge 4 times and has lasted a year. Environmentally much better and saves £££.
Man thats alot of work.....all salt really is "chlorine" correct.levels of 3 ppm they recommend seems a high level of caustic chlorine. There has to be a more natural low chemical way to maintain a hot tub than this.

Following the salt system instructions will set you up for long-term success. The salt system uses the titanium cartridge to create chlorine from salt to sanitize the spa water. This means you spend less time measuring and adding chemicals to keep the water clean and clear for up to a full year and maintaining the recommended 3 ppm - 5 ppm Free Available Chlorine (FAC) will decrease the occurrence of unsafe bacteria in your spa water. You can use the control panel to set the system level needed to clean the water based on your needs.
