- Today's Mordhau gameplay video features a mini tutorial on how to get fire arrows in Mordhau. I use my Fire Arrows build that uses the Recurve Bow and Toolbox, with a cleaver and level 1 chest armor.
When using the Recurve Bow in Mordhau, you'll want to take into consideration that by engulfing the arrowheads in fire, you'll be affecting the accuracy of the shot by a bit. This make landing the shots tougher, especially considering the Recurve Bow has a steep velocity drop off after a few dozen yards. Unlike the Longbow, which lives up to its name.
The fire pits from the toolbox are the only way to get fire arrows. Walking up to torches, firebomb impact areas or other environmental fires will not work. Which seems weird to me, but it is what it is.
You can also build a firepit next to a catapult and a baby ballista to engage fire boulders/ballista bolts. Nothing cooler than lobbing a fiery rock of doom into a pack of enemies.

The cold gives him an extra point in hearing improving his balance and therefore his aim, playing sick is the ultimate advantage.
haven't played a fire archer build in a while but it's always a blast listening to guys screaming on the battlefield
Playing an Archer or having throwables really is such a chill way to play the game that could otherwise end up a real meat grinder.
My absolute favorite build ! Not used by many but if used correctly, can turn the tide of a battle. I typically deploy spikes to make choke points tighter. Love the Archer/Engineer build.
Thinking about getting this, have you ever tried offline Bots? Know how many per Side you can get? I’m not much of an online guy. Loved chivalry 2.

Heavy armor is just a mere cooking pot for the fire archers to set alight, for: some sweet, sweet and spicy knight stew.
You can also light catapult shots on fire as well

Lmao I was the female archer tryna steal the fire, I’ve like never played archers at all so I didn’t realize I was stealing it. My bad lmao, good game though
It wasn't stealing that was the issue, you never want to crowd alongside another archer, makes it easier to be spotted and tunnel-versioned by enemies. Since I can only deploy one fire pit at a time it had to come with me. GG.

9:58 That bard kill made me cringe ngl. Poor guy was just trying to be your personal bard, crouching to the side and you just killed him for no reason, not even a warning shot. Kinda shameful if you ask me
I’ve gotten my bow knocked out of my hand too many times by enemy bards who follow me around. If he stayed away or stayed in one place he would have been just fine.
