again for warlocks, forgotten specs. this might be hard to research, pre 1.12 a warlock could spec into Master Demonologist/Demonic Sacrifice/Ruin. also known as the Sac/Rez spec because the idea was that you could sacrifice a demon and gain the DS buff and have a paladin or a druid resurrect the demon to gain the Master Demonologist buff. it was just a lame stat that wouldn't really matter for most healers. Nothing really interesting. Only healers using it were druids and holy priests, shamans/paladins/monks/discs didn't really need that stat considering not having a lack in ways to regen mana during combat.
Boring stat and made gearing incredibly annoying and forced every other caster spec to have talents or other passives to have the gear with spirit not be completely useless. Also as someone else stated, it wasnt very useful on quite a few healers. Shamans got more mana back from crits. Monks had their blue koolaid. Paladins just smacked people with judgment iirc. Druid Im pretty sure still had the massive mana regen innervate and even IF mana was tight, Disc priests had Symbol. The only real times you had mana issues was on the super long fights, but even then the longest fight for the later end of Spirit was Deathwing and you just didnt run out of mana after freeing kalecgos im pretty sure.
@@amethonys2798 It might've been useless in general, but I would still like to know more about the intention it was meant for, what kind of fantasy it was supposed to fufill but didn't type of curiosity I have for it. Lore wise I like to imagine Demon Skin gives the warlock a sinister appearance, their skin darkens or changes color to either green or red. Their eyes glow green and their facial features warp and change slightly to give them a demonic appearance. Demon Armor does all that as well as give them a slightly transluscent set of armour around their bodies that reacts when hit by the enemy.
Its actuallty a magical armor that coats the outside of their normal armor. this "Demon skin" or "demon armor" made using the souls of those they kill.
I'd like to see history of shaman shields, those went through a lot of changes and had many talent interactions. Would make for a better video than Lock armors

I don't know if that's a real topic but I would like to listen to the story of toys in WoW, cuz they became a big thing only after WoD, considering that most of the people didn't really know about a lot of them since most of them were a quest reward or a quest item or a random drop and a rare player would really notice them while questing (I, personally, didn't, I would just delete them, thinking "I would never use that one").
There weren't that many toys until MoP though.
Do a vídeo about the Redpath family lore/quest chain in Eastern plaguelands
How about the rise and fall of second wind?
how about History of Arenas, or something heavily pvp related
I miss MoP warlocks, mainly demo and destro. That was when I had the most fun playing a lock. Never forget that passive KJC.
Holy crap, I'm what 4 months old in this game, honestly getting bored of its mechanics and as a first glance Warlock lover you give me a whole panel to explore. Loved the video but as a long time Broodwars/SC2 player I would dare to say, what's wrong with you David Kim aka Blizzard balance cause yeah I don't have a single idea of who manages WoW PvP.
PS : I guess I cannot realize how much my English sucks as b.... but well it's a genuine call so please excuse me. Awesome job Hiru
More warlock content, Yesssssss!
Video idea. Updated hunter pet changes last one I see is 4 years ago. Should also have in there explaining how your pets gain stats
At 4:23 it says "increaed" instead of "increased".
Yeah thats an oopsie...
What about the history of the Hunter aspects?
I used to tank Illidan and Kaelthas with my warlock, i felt so special jajaja, grinding a lot of gear with +shadow resistance or +fire resistance to keep up with the fight, those were the days :(
Rest in peace Heroic Strike. You were too good for this world. But hiru if you would do a history on this, I would be very grateful.
History of Stances. Both Warrior and DK stances. I miss swapping to Frost Stance, equip my tanking 2hander and taunt over the boss when the tank dies.
Gonna roll warlock when classic launches, it's going to be fun. See you all there, can't wait to kill some alliance scum! Mwuhahahah!!!
Jk, wish the best for all. ^^
Reasons why spirit was removed from the game...? Or a simple history of the stat.
it was just a lame stat that wouldn't really matter for most healers.
I play mainly rogue so spirit never had any stat relevance for me, ever. Would still like to know more about it though.
I always thought that Demon Armor's icon looked like an angry clown, since the icon was so small in game.
I been making videos, which is more likely to be watch more then others, guide videos or transmog videos?
Villains corner The Legend of Stalvan? that long quest chain you do in duskwood
I would like to see history of shaman shields.
We used our Lock back in Wrath to tank one of the Blood Princes in ICC
Lore wise I like to imagine Demon Skin gives the warlock a sinister appearance, their skin darkens or changes color to either green or red. Their eyes glow green and their facial features warp and change slightly to give them a demonic appearance. Demon Armor does all that as well as give them a slightly transluscent set of armour around their bodies that reacts when hit by the enemy.
Its actuallty a magical armor that coats the outside of their normal armor. this "Demon skin" or "demon armor" made using the souls of those they kill.
@@RazanaArcclaw Where did you get that from?
wow.gamepedia.com/Fel_Armor#cite_note-2
History and evolution of the Darkmoon Faire. You know you want to.
Do strongest dps in raid tier and expansion. Example Tbc , sunwell , Wotlk, Toc ect...
I'd like to see history of shaman shields, those went through a lot of changes and had many talent interactions. Would make for a better video than Lock armors
I miss when demonology warlocks had the other version of their demon form that had just permanent wings and literally turned you into an actual tank.... it also made you speak like demonic or eradun so any other locks no matter the faction could also understand you if they also had the wings up. It was such a great glyph and I loved it so much.... I miss it, my lock just doesn't feel the same anymore.
History of druid forms (with the old class quests)
I would like to see the history of feasts in warcraft. om nom nom.
I really liked Fel Armor in Lich King expansion!
For some time during the ZA patch a mage could spellsteal the Fel Armor during a duel outside a dungeon and cpuld carry it inside the dungeon. tje duration was just long enough to have during a boss fight. good times
How many times did he say the word "Demon" ?
182 I counted. (No i didnt, but A LOT.)
Enough to summon one
Casually getting Thori'dal while talking about warlock armors. Nice.
On a warlock though... been trying to get it on my hunter forever... then it pops up on my lock... ffs
@@RazanaArcclaw I got it on my Paladin 3 years before I got it on my Warrior, don't feel alone.
Do the story about shadow priests!
Oh mah lord I’ve been watching your videos for months because they pop up on my feed... I just now noticed I hadn’t been subscribed. Sorry :(
4:23 increaed??
Lol did not notice that! Those slip through once in awhile.
How about the history of Weapon skills and what they did? quil
History of warrior stances!
Whats that unit frame?
Elvui!
Would like to see the history of Paladin auras.
Did you solo hc gul'dan?
Yep, been doing heroic and normal each week for the past while to try for the green infernal... I have the red but I want the green... I am debating trying mythic but i dont have the skip to him on that.
Love to see a video about Hunters#
Eye of the Beast
*Short version of any History of video:*
Added fun thing, made it less fun, removed it
The history of paladin judgements pls
Do a history of warrior stance
Holy midrolls, Batman
Damn, I miss WotLK skills. Spellpower sharing, ranged rogues, flash of light as a viable spam spell... It feels like everything got clipped away in Cata :(
Man I miss the old demonology warlock 😢
You should show all abilities from all classes which got proned away. I cant even remember anymore, thats how long it is we actually had fun classes in wow
that would be like an hour long for each class
@@eier3252 haha probably
Sad knowing they will remove my beloved Fel Armor in the next expansion of calssic.
History of warrior shouts
I love you Hiru
History of Warrior Stances
bring the piano background music please :(
those times when you have almost 7 K spell power as demonologi when everthing proced : D and you could make even more i did not have full bis ... was doing 50 k soulfires on wotlk and 13 k noncrit to fully geared pvp players...there was some kind of diminishing cause it never done crit with this high stats ...after procs dropped i was able to do 15-20 crits
demon skin/armor it incerased all healing by 20 % not just from hs potions etc... it was good for affli
Was mentioned a few times in the vid.
@@RazanaArcclaw in video was mentioned self heal like fa hs potions ... not heals from others
1:56 and 3:14
@@RazanaArcclaw yes as i mentioned self healing...from bla bla bla ...it was boost to all healing recived not just hs fa potions...
im gonna be real the armor buffs were dumb af, i won´t cry any tears for them. they were just increased stats (which is boring) and besides some niche things like tank warlocks there was no point in them. i am still grateful that blizzard just got rid of em or made them passivs.
Legacy of Racial Abilities with one for Each Race. explaining the history of racial abilities, the impact thier racial abilities used to have on the metagame at various points in history, and what specs in each expansion from introduction to BFA could actually use those racials effectively. patch by patch. starting with Vanilla races and working in order of release, don't to allied races.
Can we please just have Demon Armour back baseline? Even if it's nerfed a little to make that happen. We can't pvp without it (unless an arena team with no physical dmg and even then 10% stamina is useful) and it makes pve awkward... we essentially have 2 pvp talents; and if you're destro you only have 1 pvp talent cos you're obviously taking Demon Armour and Focused Chaos (60% Chaos Bolt damage).
How about the history of player titles like Jankons. Quil
