Another great upload. After watching yourself and a few others on this platform, I managed to pick up enough tips to successfully pass my class 2 test today.
Ah that’s nice. My mummy and daddy taken me to special training school and I passed my cykling profisinsy test today and one day I wanted to drive big lorries
20:49 shame to see an old Peugeot 309 getting scrapped. They are getting thin out there. Hope some bits might still save some other old 309's. Great video by the way. Very interesting to see, many "new" cars getting to the end of their life.
I got caught up in London in a street like that while delivering Furniture to a shop had to reverse all the way back out with cars both sides as cars were parked by the junction on the pavement.
Hey there I just to say you are doing a good job love the way u go though everything about ur lorry and ur cars first time 2day I watch ur channel and I think ur doing 100% a good job god bless
I love the steering wheel design on the c4,,, will admit took me a couple of days to get used to it but love mine, luckily I've got the rare c4 coupe loeb
Sir I absolutely love the way u get these cars and would love to do the same, is ther a website that you go onto or something to source the cars you get Thanks
Would also like to thank you for your excellent content Salvage Hunting or doing up car’s at your house 🏡 it’s all excellent Bud so thank you from this Scotsman & a big fan of yours Pal. 👍👍
who spotted the pug 309 in the background. shame that was sent for scrap as i bet they are rare as ends teeth now. shame that couldnt be a project car for someone
2: 56 Ooer, that first one was right by my sisters house. I know, no-one needed to know that. Had a few in the Spyglass and Kettle in the background. You didn't need to know that either, did ya?
Kev out of curiousity, if you do 'day' driving why do you need a bed setup, it is just for comfier break times or readiness in case something keeps you out overnight?
Citroen xsara Picasso. My ex boss had a company one which got used and abused . When it was sold it had about 35000 Miles on the clock on the original diesel engine. Lovely car.
I clicked like, as it's interesting to know what you think about Shitroens. Mine is an 03 plate Xsara hatch at 170K miles. The 8 valve HDi just will not die. I'd never buy a newer Citroen but Quick Q What was wrong with the old picasso MPV? Sills rotted or something else knocking?
A lot of them have been severely neglected. It looks like it's been sitting around, but would agree it's probably rot that got at it. They maybe ugly but are pretty useful things!
What a great double collection video. The cars were certainly all kerput & a true motley mess, however I did enjoy Kev's optional extras that were given. Who else spotted the Rare Peugeot 309 on the rack @ the end of the video??? Here's to the next episode of Salvage Hunting.
I would like to thank you for your excellent content Pal & that Nissan Micra brought back many fond memories as my dear mum had one on an 05 plate with very handy top compartment at centre top of dashboard. My Portuguese Pal 🇵🇹 had a Seat Ibiza in 2013 when we stayed in Carvoiero on The Algarve. Lovely town same with Bournemouth as that also looks a lovely town. Partly reminds me of part’s of Edinburgh Pal. 👍👍
I still remember the day when I was walking home from school, although it was more than 60 years ago. I waited while a large lorry reversed into a delivery yard, first stopping, turning on his hazard and reversing lights, before moving forward in order to commence reversing. Unfortunately, a mini that had previously been following him as if he was attached by a short tow rope followed him. Watching the poor little car, first being crushed in the front and then sideways on like a tin can as the lorry turned was like something out of a Laurel and Hardy film. The really funny part was after the lorry driver heard the crunching and shattering glass, he got out to find the car driver still sitting in the driver's seat as if nothing had happened. It was the most surreal thing that I have seen in my 70 plus years. Needless to say, I got told off when I got home for seeing the funny side. Despite my parents fears, I did not grow up to become a serial killer. 😃😃
Hi Kev, excellent video. Just one question, Why 3 on the top and one on the bottom for the last collection? Am training and curious about load distribution. Sorry if this has already been asked but just had an eye operation and reading small text is still a bit difficult. Cheers
Regarding your comments about the second vehicle, the seat Ibiza and it's optional extras, i'm amazed how many cars out there that must come with indicators as an optional package and decide not to have them fitted, either that or the drivers are plain arrogant and think there the only ones on the road. Good vid, what i like about your job is your driving and HGV, you're your own boss and the videos i've seen is you turn up, the cars waiting and no ones hassling you, where as when i watch other HGV drivers delivering there can often be hassles with staff there delivering to.
Another enjoyable vlog Kev, do love the content, nice bit of reversing, I see a comment further down about not reversing into a main road without a banksman , do you not keep a banksman in your side locker!! 😂🤣Keep up the good work and keep safe!😀🚛
Always amazes me how people park their cars as if they think that nothing bigger than a car will need to go down the road. Pity help fire engines etc. Great video Kev. Stay safe and take care.
looks like lived in used as drug house. id not want to even sit inside its disgusting. my old car what just sold 13 years old just had new clutch it went 1month before funds came in for 2015 age car the newer version of what i had. no matter value the car if it needed doing it get fixed even tho selling car in rush i only got back what paid for clutch but good thing it now taxed and insured so it been sold. my old car even tho it was years 10-13 years old i had many comments over years saying do i use the car, car was cleaner than when i got it and far better mechanically and 5.5 years ownership clean pass on mot not even advisory, i told my local mechanic look at it before if any doubt in slightest fix it i only want clean pass. as Hyundai paint always an issue but mine far better than face lift one across the road but mechanically the car is great. so no wonder matter few weeks it was sold a good cheap runabout i just know it be dam reliable car. only reason i sold it due health as just needed car cruise control to help on longer journeys so i went for newer version what i had but top spec it has everything and driving less painful more relaxing and the car stay as clean as well looked after for all my ownership and as long term car im going to take steps after new year for rust prevention and keep on top that see it deal with it so a new job for my local mechanic along with maintaining it to high standard. i have no idea why people treat car so bad, if it was me ban them from driving and owning cars and save the cars for people who will look after them
Great reversing onto that main road, pity not all drivers are courteous to let you out. Hats off to you though as I would be stressed out completely doing your job 🙈
I've got a grand space tourer 2019 and that is f ucked already I'm arguing with citreon because it's still under warranty till march but every time I take it the garage they just knock the fault off with the diagnostic thing 1 week later it comes back on but what can you do, they're just trying to get it out of warranty, 26k on the clock
I do like a C4 picasso. Nice car, but the reliability puts me off. I used to own a Xsara Picasso. One of the best cars I have owned. May not look pretty, but it was good enough for me. Missus had a C3. She loved it. Only got rid of it because the boot wasn't big enough for a 55kg Golden Retriever.
God help us when the new laws come in later this year, banning pavement parking in little streets where you can't even get a Micra down. Just imagine everyone parking totally on the street both sides off the pavement. BEDLAM

And that blue Corsa driver who just bailed must have seen your go pros and panicked
I got caught up in London in a street like that while delivering Furniture to a shop had to reverse all the way back out with cars both sides as cars were parked by the junction on the pavement.
Nice one Kev. Thanks 👍
How did the run go to ruby the other day
Any other truck drivers trying to see around the back or only me🤣 great video Kev
Backward facing camera's should be fitted to all trucks in reverse mode!
What was wrong with the massing then
Hey there

The anxiety.. the anxiety! Someone looking for a pay cheque going to slam the backend. Such a tricky situation.
That Ford Focus started life in my home area of Dundee, 'SP'11
Very enjoyable to watch you at work

hello kev great video as always mate reversingwas brilliant,
Excellent video Kev .The little Fiat Punto looked too good to scrap, what would they have got for that? Stay safe mate
2: 56 Ooer, that first one was right by my sisters house. I know, no-one needed to know that. Had a few in the Spyglass and Kettle in the background. You didn't need to know that either, did ya?
Brilliant video and loved the funny commentary on all the car featured.
Kev out of curiousity, if you do 'day' driving why do you need a bed setup, it is just for comfier break times or readiness in case something keeps you out overnight?
Well done Kev. Great video and loving the different camera angles. Have a great weekend 😃😃
Citroen xsara Picasso. My ex boss had a company one which got used and abused . When it was sold it had about 35000
Miles on the clock on the original diesel engine. Lovely car.
Another great video selfish parking does my head in they could of had there cars closer to the kerb
On the Micra, why fit new tyres then scrap it? Strange!

Hi Kev, another great video. Do you ever get across to Sussex these days? Alan
another good one kev :)

It's amazing how people won't stop but instead think they'll still make it behind reversing lorry

Are u doing any more model truck building
Hi Kev, excellent video. Just one question, Why 3 on the top and one on the bottom for the last collection? Am training and curious about load distribution. Sorry if this has already been asked but just had an eye operation and reading small text is still a bit difficult. Cheers
Yes, it is good that you are a good driver, when backing out like that day!
I like to see different vehicles outside of the US. I noticed the Seat car. Trying to identify the model. Thanks for the content.
The Seat that Kev picked up is a third gen Seat Ibiza.
Ummm Scania u have Jedi Knight u have bcome .

That Focus must have been abused quite heavily. The petrol ones take a lot to kill, and certainly "seize"!
Another enjoyable vlog Kev, do love the content, nice bit of reversing, I see a comment further down about not reversing into a main road without a banksman , do you not keep a banksman in your side locker!! 😂🤣Keep up the good work and keep safe!😀🚛
Excellent video.
Don't you have any reversing warnings on your truck?
Awesome kev shame on the mk4 golf why can't they of just put a diagnostics on it probably a cheap fix
Great video keep up with the good work 👍
Charles Trent Citroen Culling Programme ™️ in full swing I see 😆😆😂😂
Absolutely brilliant once again Kev does that mean there won't be a vlog out on Sunday evening Kev?
He uploaded on Friday and Sunday last week so never say never
Cheers my good man
Is it just me or are cars not lasting like they used to, most of those cars don't exactly have high mileage
ROOKIE
Always learning 🤙🤙
Always amazes me how people park their cars as if they think that nothing bigger than a car will need to go down the road. Pity help fire engines etc. Great video Kev. Stay safe and take care.
That Seat Ibiza, I'm sorry but there's no other word for it, it's a SHED!!!!

Like this idea of a video on a Friday and a Sunday
Nice!

Ahhh being trapped in streets by parked cars so much fun 🥳
You're not a haitch gee vee driver - you are an aitch gee vee driver. The letter H is found in the A section of a dictionary.
Citroen C4 Picasso is a shambles of a car
👍
i am sure you must have been shocked by now to find that an owner of a vehicle did not match the vehicle, like a pensioner in a boy racer car
At least it wasn't an artic.
Residential FFS
Alright Karen.... don't get ya knickers in a twist 😂 thanks for pointing out my error, now fixed 👍
