Definitely ready!😋Important to note that the corn husks should be prepared beforehand by soaking them in hot water until they are soft. Also, it's a good idea to spread the masa on the smoother side so that the masa doesn't stick to the husk when you unwrap it once cooked.

Tamales cook in steam , your steamer pot should have a rack that divides the bottom from the top so water can be filled in the bottom part and that’s how the tamales will get their steam 😊
Vegetable shortening is a better alternative as well as oil butter I like to use ig for sweet tamales but you can ofc give it a try to make them savory 😊
