Em resumo: Dois garotos disputam o amor da menina. A menina mostra preferência pelo mais novo e casa-se com ele uma filha e fica grávida de um menino. O outro menino (o que salva) torna-se um presidente/general e tenta dominar pela guerra. Dimash, já adulto e soldado, resolve voltar para defender sua família, mas encontra sua filha morta e a mulher desaparecida. A mulher está gravida e um grupo de diversas religiões a acolhe e percebe que a criança que vai nascer é especial. Dimash parte para vingança e mata seu antigo amigo, depois é morto por soldados inimigos. Antes de morrer ele reconhece que a vingança, a guerra e o ódio geram mortes e ele "escolhe a vida". Passe-se um tempo e peregrinos, de versas crenças, seguem o filho de Dimash em caminho a um lugar de paz e união!

O video fala da amizade de 2 meninos apaixonados pela mesma menina... O menino Dimash é salvo pelo outro e quando a menina segura na mão dele ele volta e sorri de felicidade... O menino Dimash faz 3 colares de amizade mas o outro menino não aceita e fica com raiva da rejeição pela menina ter escolhido o outro... O menino rejeitado se torna um ditador que lidera com a guerra e quando ele aponta um lugar no mapa na mesa, ele ordena a morte da menina esposa do menino Dimash que está grávida e da filhinha deles... O símbolo do colar é um relógio náutico onde a Luz passa pelo furo e permite ver as horas, que representa que só a Luz Divina traz consciência para o Homem... O ditador usa o símbolo no uniforme de sua guerra mas sem o furo onde passa a Luz Divina mostrando que ele está na escuridão... O menino Dimash é um soldado da resistência ao ditador... As pessoas subindo a montanha são os peregrinos representantes das religiões do mundo... Quando o caminhante cai morto é tocado o Shofar, usado nas orações do Judaísmo e com o toque longo apresenta ao Criador a vida daquele que morreu... Ao voltar pra casa ele vê a filha morta e chora de dor...No mesmo momento a esposa do menino Dimash tem um filho rodeada de figuras representativas de várias religiões... Nesse momento há uma tempestade do caminho da montanha mostrando que todos passamos por momentos difíceis na Vida... A VOZ GUTURAL É UMA FRASE DE UM FILÓSOFO FAMOSO QUE DIZ QUE TODOS OS SERES HUMANOS SÃO VIAJANTES NO CAMINHO DA VIDA... O menino Dimash mata o ditador por vingança e é morto pelos soldados do tirano... Не перестаю восхищаться мудростью и сердечностью Димаша, который сотворил этот шедевр, по сути своей молитву за всё человечество. Призыв к всеобщему миру на планете, к прекращению конфликтов и недопонимания между людьми разных национальностей. И всё это через мощнейший вокал Димаша, плач и мольбу, чтобы люди услышали и смогли понять и принять его посыл! Это почти физическая боль, которую начинаешь испытывать при просмотре этого видео, а эмоции просто зашкаливают. Ты полностью погружаешься в происходящее, не в силах оторвать свой взгляд от экрана, понимая, насколько глубокий смысл скрыт в этом видео послании. К сожалению, не все смогут оценить этот призыв от Димаша, часть людей живёт во мраке собственной души и не способны прозреть в ближайшее время, а многие вообще утратили такие качества, как чуткость и сострадание. Ведь люди, имеющие в себе доброту и человечность, будут тянуться к свету и любви, которые излучает собой Димаш, ну а те, кто обделён этими качествами, будут продолжать жить во тьме, принося с собою в этот мир лишь негатив, подпитываясь отрицательными эмоциями, ведущими к разрушению собственной личности. У таких людей любое проявление доброты или милосердия со стороны других людей вызывает практически болезненные ощущения, острое неприятие и желание сделать что то плохое в ответ. Это как добро и зло, они всегда рядом, также как свет и тьма. В этом сущность самого человека и ничего с этим не поделаешь. Все мы рождаемся хорошими и добрыми, но каждый в итоге выбирает свой путь, каким ему быть в этой жизни. Одни, несмотря на сложные жизненные обстоятельства, будут всегда стремиться к свету и добру, другие, даже в условиях комфортной жизни, могут выбрать путь тьмы и разрушения. Но всегда остаётся Надежда, что этот мир изменится к лучшему, а для этого каждый человек должен вначале изменить себя. Димаш в этом произведении превзошёл себя : его музыка, его вокал, его сценарий, его актёрская работа, его продюссерская работа - всё выше всяких похвал. Работа всех участников съёмочной группы, музыкантов, - всё в превосходной степени. Рекомендую также посмотреть живое выступление с концерта в Алмы-Аты.Это вообще на разрыв аорты. Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. Hi Gabriela! Thank you for your sincere reaction! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece!
I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER.
The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Assim como você, também chorei com a sua reação, impressionante o talento do Dimash, e além disto que já é muito, soma-se a sua sensibilidade e preocupação com temas tão importantes e atuais, algo que pouco se vê em muitos outros artistas, pra ser sincero o último que se expressava assim através da arte, foi o nosso inesquecível Michael Jackson, que por sinal é um dos grandes ídolos do Dimash.
Em relação a mensagem musicada, o que deu a entender, o jovem que salvou o menino, seria o Dimash (O soldado), o menino que foi salvo, seria o comandante, já a mulher que dá a luz, seria a jovem namorada do Dimash, já aqueles personagens que aparecem, são peregrino de todas as crenças (Religiões), caminhando em busca do Criador,
Resumindo: A guerra destrói as amizades, matam adultos e principalmente nossas crianças inocentes, e mostra que devemos amar ao próximo, apesar das suas crenças (religião), ufa!

Então, continuo acreditando que o Dimash seja o garoto que fez o resgate, ao meu vê por quais motivos: 1° - Se fossem escolher um garoto pra mostrar o Dimash garoto, o óbvio seria o garoto "salvador", é só vê a semelhança física de ambos, e 2° - porque o Dimash que só prega o amor, não só isso, vive o amor, é só acompanhar o seu relacionamento com a família e seus fãs, e fica nítido que não é algo fingido, daí a pergunta: Porque alguém que prega o amor, vive o amor dessa forma, iria fazer um filme e se colocaria como protagonista e ele próprio seria o causador dessa guerra, trazendo a destruição, a desunião e o desamor.
Esse é o meu ponto de vista tendeu.

Então vcs não entenderam mesmo, o menino que salvou o que estava se afogando virou o ditador, vcs não viram que ele amassou com a mão o símbolo no colar quando estava na praia e depois quando adulto como ditador, é nítido isso, ele ficou com raiva por a menina escolher o garoto que estava se afogando e não ele, ele cresceu com esse rancor e se vinga matando a filhinha de Dimash

You figured most of it out correctly, except at the very end. The child being born is the son of Dimash and the girl that he married from the beach. Fast forward to the end where the child has grown up and leads a non demoninational group of religions and people in general following him toward the light in a non violent march for peace .

My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism.
It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself.
The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information).
In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral l compass.
Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon.
It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way.
The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war.
The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence.
That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against?
The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price?
War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life.
Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light.
When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering.
He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.
The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.”
Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect.
Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

👉 Part 1: That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
(Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service)
Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity.
One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one.
The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
