Got one. Goin' to River Falls near Tallulah Falls for the inaugural voyage in it. And our first trip RV'n. Wish us luck ;-) The features, efficient design/outlay, size/weight. Yeah.......that all sold us on it. We're actually hauling it with a ext. cab Toyota Tacoma with a 2.7. Don't laugh. Already drove it around town. It works just fine 🙂 No, you wouldn't wanna go crazy with where'd you take it, but it works.
This puma lite is exactly the way I like it. Rear door allows more interior room with ability to increase the safety when towing. How you ask when loading a trailer the weight must be balanced. This avoids trailer swim due to not enough tounge weight. Having the storage in the front helps to avoid accidentally putting the items in it that might cause the tounge weight to decrease. The manufacturer got it right
We have an older version of that floor plan but it has a bench where that table is and the table is in front and makes into a bed, we really like ours but that is such an improvement.
Nice seeing new rv's that can be towed by more half-ton trucks and older 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with lower GVWRs that are suitable for the 1-3 day excursions for 1 to 2 people.
Just a thought about not having a sink in the bathroom. Personally I don’t think it’s necessary , not with such a small unit…..3 steps your in the kitchen I walk further to my sink in my bathroom at home 😂
Not bad, could use without a electric tongue jack. Rather have a oven and a queen bed. Instead of a dinette, I'd use a pull out couch. A porcelain toilet, but everything else is well priced.
Would make a great evacuation RV for two people and pets. Great for getting out of the way of a incoming hurricane. Or getting out of a disaster area after the earthquake, hurricane, storm, flood, etc. Not many things to go wrong, like a slide not working. Nice big fridge and shower for longer term living while services are restored at your primary residence. Only things that would make it better for this is some kind of solar power and maybe a tankless hot water heater, although a hot water tank is better for water conservation if boondocking.
18k...? No solar, tv, is the water and sewer tank heated? The size of the sleeper wasnt given. Batteries included? Again, atv18k I expect them to be included especially since I can drive to Iowa or Ohioand pay less for trailer plus my inclusions.
I'm a fan of the channel been watching for ages, but it's unbelieveable how the US hasn't caught onto removing the truck beds to fit aluminium canopys (12v set ups, smart storage, underbody water and stoarage, weather protection shades, pull out kitchens) kitted out for camping, work and even soccer Mums have them. Let me be clear: you're RV's in the US are so bad compared to ours in Australia. Ours - long draw bars, aluminium frames, fully welded (not partially) galvanised chasis, independent suspension. Yes they still make 'on road trailers' here but they all have clearance and have thicker metal chasis and beefier leaf set ups for the just on road trailers. 'Like' they still sport that off road look and are strong just without airbag independent suspension and body protection for off roading. These trailer in the US all seem to have that 80s look where the draw bar is really short and there's that curved front and the industry doesn't change. They also use a lot of timber for the walls that is crazy in 2024 it should be tig welded alluminium. Nothing gonna change unless the media and industry gets down to Australia and reports back to what's going on down here. And before anyone comments - I get it, it is bigger and better there. You guys have more stuff. Here there are a few things tho that we do greatly better. One is RV design, another is setting up the back of our rigs where the bed is or bed was I mean. Cheers and keep up the good work.
That was quite surprising when you went in it, you're right, much larger than it looks. Though; as with the last video, pleaseee try to show the pricing sheets ron hoover lays out so we can cause and see what options they have! Thanks again!!
Not a big fan of difficult to make east west beds, but the dealbreakers are no jackknife option for the uncomfortable dinette, and no bathroom sink which means everyone will have to wash their hands, brush their teeth and shave in the kitchen sink🤢
Nice ! But in the future could please elaborate on the fresh water capacity and weather or not it can be switched out for a cassette toilet ! The capacity for gray and black water, is it solar compatible? Thank you
Great unit, except for the bathroom. I'd love to buy one like this, but these bathrooms are essentially unusable for anyone over 5 foot or 90 pounds. If they had stuck the toilet in the rear corner on an angle and made it a wet room, or at least offered that as an option, I would be VERY tempted to jump on something like that. But, these manufacturers seem intent on making sure their bathrooms are only made for contortionists.
Every tiny trailer “HUGE INSIDE!”
I agree!
Very nice. 👍🏻😎
That's real nice. I would take the table and bench seats out add more room. use a tv try to eat off of. That just me.
Not bad, has a lot packed in 18ft.
Damn good review JD…. That’s actually nice for 18k man… especially for a solo traveler
Would make for a nice weekend fishing camper if anything. I’d like to see a different interior color personally.
I think I would go for a fiberglass trailer if I were buying that small.
Thank you for keep showing us the tiny travel trailers. This one definitely is one of my favorite small trailers.
I love it, especially that enormous fridge/freezer
Better than paying rent
👍🤘
For a small size it’s excellent. Upgraded tires needed. They could add a folding sink in the shower.
Appreciate the vids on small travel trailers! Thanks!
Cute!
Very nice
I love your videos !!
I love this! It’s great! Thanks for the video JD!
Very smart to put a large refrigerator in a small unit
Nice compact unit. 👍👍

Look! That would be perfect for me to travel the country and see all the sights!!!

Cool
Do they make it with a jackknife sofa instead of a table

Sir. I would love to see that little thing in the background at 2:00
Also, what AC does it have?

I'm not normally into the smaller ones but I love this, it's very very cozy
Hard to believe I got a 2016 vibe bunkhouse for the price of this “on sale” and brand new. When is the rv industry going to settle back down?!?
Did I miss something or is this trailer almost 3000lb's unloaded with a title of "ultra lite."
Vcute starter, well put together, Palomino is quality!
Solar?
What’s the length of the box?
this kind of trailer we tow with cars in Europe, no need for Suv, Trucks etc.

Great little trailer huge step up above a pop up camper, or a truck bed camper😊

We looked at the Palomino Puma 27rbds. It has the same fridge. Seems to be at a great price point.
What do you estimate the tongue weight from this trailer would be?

You would have to poop with the door open. Your knees wouldn’t fit
That's what he said 😂
Hi Ryan's mom Sam commenting... in the UK this is what we call a *Caravan * 😂😮

Really cool unit! Countertop space is a bit limited though, especially if you want a coffee maker ☕

Completely agree...more detailed info please.

Waaaaay over priced.
You were not kidding. They have squeezed a lot into that tiny space. There isn't anything that I can think of to change at that price point.
