    Miss the Mass of my childhood - the Mass I fell in love with! I was told the Mass will never change as Christ will never change.

    Looks like parishioners are just staring at the back of the priest - but we had our own personal Missals following right along - Latin on the left side, English in the right. I still have mine!

    Wow. it's been years since I went to a 1962 Liturgy. I didn't realise how much of a disjointed mess it was back when I was starry-eyed about it. No one is on the same page here, literally and figuratively, and the cacophony is so beyond distracting, it's almost unbearable. They really made the right decision with Sacrosanctum Conciliam; if only priests would do that 1970 liturgy ad orientam with proper music and more Latin, we'd be all set.
