Well I dont know if I can call myself a sony pony since I own xbox too but I heavily prefer PS like 90% of the time and there is good in this. PS players will populate Battlefield propably if they wont get access to cod, which is just better multiplayer game since cod multiplayer is dogshit with the shit going around their SBMM and I will be able to play cods lackluster 4 hour short dogshit campaign on gamepass without buying the game. So win win for me.

Doom shotgun is the best bundle, ever in cod. Not all mergers results in layoffs, I was employed by one company that just then announced a merger about a month after I was hired, so naturally I was worried about my job and no one I knew was laid off. Never cared much about COD MP because I suck at it lol but I have enjoyed most of the campaigns and as long as they keep making them I'll be happy especially if they go to GP.
As a Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox Series S, and PC owner, I am just happy I could play whatever I want.
This is honestly quite exciting now especially with how new 343 has rebuilt Halo Infinite and is now heavily promoting it with the HCS event going on now, plus some leaks about the Halo BR. Going to be interesting to see how COD and Halo mix together under one publisher.

I scalped consoles for the first 2 years and Xbox’s were always readily available for the entirety of post launch except for like 2-3 months.

I don’t really care about cod personally, I pick up a new cod game every once and a while, play the campaign, tdm for a few weeks, and that’s pretty much it. Would really like to see Microsoft revive some old ip’s and see them divert studios from cod to make new games from other ip’s. Other than that I don’t really care. Primarily an Xbox guy but I have all 3 consoles so I’m not really losing anything from any of these companies.

I’m still holding onto the hope that Microsoft is able to pull the trigger on a Nintendo acquisition, for no other reason that I want to be able to play Nintendo games on PC legally, without needing to use an emulator. I know it will probably never happen, considering the history of Microsoft trying to purchase Nintendo in the past, but I can still hope.
