To save your wrist and maximize xp gainz there is the degrime spell on the arceus spell book does whole inv if I remember correctly and is very much the iron meta for cleaning herbs if such a thing can exist
I would have used the clean herb spell instead of wrecking your wrist or you could have just worn your max cape and just put the herbs w/o cleaning them into vials of water.

you can use grimy herbs on vials of water and make the unf pot with max cape/herb cape equipped lol
