The pills back then we're so intense. You could tell when they started to come on because the music sounded 100% more intense. The best feeling EVEEEEER💗
Rebecca I can remember coming up on my first pill sat in an alcove at Shellys with me mate , about half hour after dropping I was like can you feel owt he said I don't know man fifteen mins later I look at him he looks at me I'm coming up mate yeah me to. Just thinking back to that night gives me goose bumps..... they were the days that's for sure.. peace

@@jotceka77 it's shelleys laserdome Stoke on trent April 92 i can just about see myself there with my friends unreal night. I saw one-off my friends at the time walk past the camera and eventually found a small clip of me,these were the best times ever!!!

I used to love all the happy piano, techno and vocal tunes of the time. I hated it when the hardcore wave swept in and took over the dance floor, the hardcore attracted all the knob heads who were much more about just the drugs and getting twatted and not the music.

I think the BPM's have been pitched-up slightly in this set, although many of these were brand new and fresh tunes at this point and most of these ravers hadn't heard music as fast and hectic as this back in April '92. You can see how the music evolved and later on separated into jungle and happy hardcore from this. top notch anyway.
Remember when DJs would play all genres of dance music and take you on a journey or a soundscape. Todays one genre sets are boring after 20 minutes

Use to go every weekend for a couple of years in the very early days used to sell pills in there best days of my life no regrets
