I think the most important thing is that Keqing now *feels* viable. She might not be 'best character', but she feels fun to play again, she was my first main dps I built and I'm happy to get to use her again. It's been fun
What do u mean viable, she always was viable and is viable. U just gotta build her right which i am sure many of the community doesn't and then complains this charcter doesn't hit as hard. Keqing at 155 cdmg charged attack hits equal to an Ayaka at 215.
I have a C2 Keqing with 81% CR and 210% CD. Before Dendro her ult (without any supports) only hits for a little under 2K per tick which is outrageously low. You'd need C6 Sara and VV shred just to do decent damage which can be used for much better units such as Raiden. With dendro she does finally feel viable. Yeah she was viable before but barely. She was just ok. If anything my C4 Razor was hitting around the same DPS output which is sad. At least with dendro she finally feels like she does damage instead of tickling the enemies to death lol
Keqing's new playstyle is a lot less charged attacks, the goal is to use her speed and all 3 talents to push icd to it's limits, the proper way to play is to aim for being able to trigger aggravate at a rate of at least 8-9x per 10s period with maybe a few second slowdown time in between. This is also why it can be used to drive Fischl A4 because Keqing is simply triggering Aggravate over and over and over like no other character with standard icd can do. It's a pure speed playstyle.
I think her best place in the meta rn is with fischl. keqing driving fischl's a4 is insanely good. cleared the entire floor 12 with keqfish aggravate and it's so fun seeing keqing actually perform good (even better than diluc, personally, just because of how fast she is lol)

well i hate that she requires a limited weapon. like the weapon banner is such a scam. she is a very good character and just like diluc is fun to play but there really isn't any 5 star weapon you can give her other than limited ones. i mean they should put the green sword in standard already. nobody specifically uses it. and it would be a good option for sword characters. i have mistsplitter but it was so painfull to pull for. i basically had to get three guaranteed 5* weapons. but i still play her mainly because she is very good with large cluster of enemies and venti.

right now im having a ton of fun using my Keqing I hadn't built in a dendro team. buuuut after a bit playing with her I found that I like playing her as cryo more than electro aggravate.. with chongyun, kazuha and xiangling as supports she started dealing way more than I expected and it's very fun too!
Keqing was my first 5-star. We also share a birthday, and electro is my favorite element (due to mother Lisa). Needless to say I am glad with the Dendro comp buffs making my already favorite character even better.
To use Keqing more efficiently, you apply dendro first, and you can have fischl and a vv shred in the team. But the most important thing is to have the the quicken aura first, then when you swap to Keqing, just tap E first before bursting, just one tap E and Q, and E again, you'll see your E is already back becuz of thunder fury 4pc set working so well with aggravate reaction, and then you can E-E again, its back to back E-Q-E-E-E, gets lot more particles and dmg in a short amount of time. No need to do charge attack at all. you can do some auto attacks in between before swaping.
Keqing's biggest buff is how much better she works with Fischl now. It's Keqing's decent personal damage, plus how good of a driver she is for Fischl that makes her meta.

Yae also got better and she with Dendro teams will beat Keqing in single target, but she is not really as good in AOE. It feels insane to me that my Keqing went from being unusable to clearing every chamber in each side of the abyss in sub 1 min. And that is without any 5-star weapons in her team.
Acktuailly.... *adjusts glasses* (TL;DR):qiqi clam set really good, read more for further explanation. Qiqi is a pretty decent phys sub dps at average investment thanks to the clam set. Since the clam set doesn't care a bout crit stats, you can make a full healer build qiqi easily and deal about 20,000 bubble pops ever 3 seconds for 21 seconds, thats 7 bubble pops that do aoe damage. (her burst uptime is 15s and a4 passive adds another talisman for 6 more.) The best part is, is that qiqi doesn't need to be on the field. Her talismans stay on the enemies while she is off field, so you can switch to a different damage dealer, heal them, and then do bonus damage. Of course, I wouldn't call Qiqi "META" or anything, and she does face some very important problems that limit how useful she is. For one, she doesn't generate her own energy particles. This means you would have to run her in a team with lots of fav weapon users, a cryo centric team (Like Eula), run her as the driver in a taser team (electro resonance creates more particles), run her with more energy recharge (thus lessening the amount of heals, thus lessening the damage), or a mix of any of these solutions. Keqing + Kokomi + Dendro Lumine + Collei is my new Keqing team. The EM from the Dendro resonance is really good, and the hyperblooms from Kokomi constantly apply. It's pretty nuts, I do like 25 second domain clears, which includes the time it takes to run from the domain start to the key.
@@sinematic06 Working on Gilded. Right now I have Traveler and Collei both on Deepwood memories, but from what I understand, if you have one Deepwood user in the party, it's better for the other to use Gilded. But I'm not 100% sure of that.

I tried Keqing hypercarry (with c6 sara, c6 sucrose, and dmc). Her dmg during full buff is quite insane, she hit 24k per slash like 5 times out of 8 slashes during her burst..

Phys qiqi might actually work in theory. She can be the on field driver for beidou, fischl, xingqiu and the team can proc ectrocharge, freeze and importantly superconduct which helps with the procs from the clam set on qiqi. Basically another version of kokomi/beidou/fischl/rosaria. Hell qiqi can also crit which is useful because her burst scaling is not half bad.
Qiqi is pretty bad even with that team. Keqing is decent now because of Dendro but nothing buffs Qiqi. Also if you build her physical then her burst will barely do any damage. Kokomi is better than Qiqi even without critting

Like, honestly I think fischl on an aggrevate team is as important as xingqiu on a diluc team. Still very, VERY happy with how much better keqing is now, she was my first ever 5 star character after all

I'm using keqing with dendro traveler, kujou sara and Barbara in the owerworld and ohc domain and it's been fun so far but I'm still trying to figure out a good rotation. Also thinking of swapping barbara for kazuha

Theres ALOT of dps units that out dps the keqing that is in the video even. Alot of that damage its just Kazuha (as you can see with the fischl 25k ticks).

@@Crowjaw you have to remember his keqing build is really medicore/bad. That ratio with a jade cutter isnt great. Your kazuha point is kinda weird, since most other dps characters require a niche support for them. Albeit not as good as kazuha, itto literally needs all geo to be considered good, and even then still isnt close to the other characters you mentioned.
Yeah, you basically HAVE TO pair up Keqing and Fischl to make them competitive together. C2 Kazuha seems an integral part of the composition also. Giving Fischl and Keqing 200 EM, elemental shred and a massive elemental damage boost, all of which factor into those massive aggravate hits. Really the only part of the team that's replaceable is the dendro applier. Dendro MC works best right now, but all he/she provides is consistent Dendro application and respectable off-field dps. As more Dendro characters come out, the final team will solidify. I expect Kusanali will be the final piece of that particular "Millennium Puzzle", especially if she can heal."
I still have to build the entire team except Fischl. But I was thinking of using Keqing, Fischl, Dendro MC and Sucrose. And equip Sucrose with an prototype amber for a bit of healing. But yea, it would be interesting to see what Kusanali's kit will bring.
Sucrose might be a better pick with Prototype Amber instead of Jean if you're looking for a VV holder and a healer in one package. The reason being: you get some healing, your team is basically quickswap so you're mostly in invul frame, which Prototype Amber can keep up with. The main problem with Jean is you have barely any VV application off-field. By the time you're finished with all the set-up, VV's timer is almost over. Pretty problematic, since you want to optimize the uptime of DMC's Q.

🥰Hyper Keqing 🥰 team [ Keqing, Dendro traveler, Sucrose or Kazuha, Bennet or c6 Sara ] is now par with VV shred Hutao team which is one of the best dps teams in existence. Keqing hyper don't show big numbers but its doses a lot more instances of mid numbers. Keqing is now meta because having no ICDs on dendro reactions
True tho since Although it depends aggravate can crit building traditional atk stats aren't the worse either And em timepieces are very very rare so like it also depends on your substats
As a owner of a terrible built Keqing who hasn't tried her since dendro she does 6-8k charge atk crits and 18-20k burst crits comparing this to Mtashed's newly built keqing used with dendro she was doing 2-4k crit more with charge atk and 5-7k more with burst crits So yea with dendro she's more viable to use especially around your world Idk about abyss
My main team ATM is Kazuha + Keqing + Xingqiu + Zhongli and they are so much fun to play. Occasionally I swap Xingqiu with Rosaria or Yanfei depending on what I'm up against and it works very well.

@@Zhangjiajie425 Yeah thats exactly what the dude meant by "not too god", since she still aint even close to the damage a raiden, hutao, ganyu, ayaka, itto and other top of the pack dps can dish in their respective teams. Theres ALOT of dps units that out dps the keqing that is in the video even. Alot of that damage its just Kazuha (as you can see with the fischl 25k ticks).

@@Crowjaw you have to remember his keqing build is really medicore/bad. That ratio with a jade cutter isnt great. Your kazuha point is kinda weird, since most other dps characters require a niche support for them. Albeit not as good as kazuha, itto literally needs all geo to be considered good, and even then still isnt close to the other characters you mentioned.
My 60 200 keqing finally paid off tbh I use Zhongli, Dendro Traveler, Fischl and of course Keqing in abyss and she and Fischl destroys the enemies T_T

Yeah, you basically HAVE TO pair up Keqing and Fischl to make them competitive together. C2 Kazuha seems an integral part of the composition also. Giving Fischl and Keqing 200 EM, elemental shred and a massive elemental damage boost, all of which factor into those massive aggravate hits. Really the only part of the team that's replaceable is the dendro applier. Dendro MC works best right now, but all he/she provides is consistent Dendro application and respectable off-field dps. As more Dendro characters come out, the final team will solidify. I expect Kusanali will be the final piece of that particular "Millennium Puzzle", especially if she can heal."
I still have to build the entire team except Fischl. But I was thinking of using Keqing, Fischl, Dendro MC and Sucrose. And equip Sucrose with an prototype amber for a bit of healing. But yea, it would be interesting to see what Kusanali's kit will bring.

This new Keqing team has definitely made me love the game again. New team comps make me excited to log on.
Sucrose might be a better pick with Prototype Amber instead of Jean if you're looking for a VV holder and a healer in one package.
The reason being: you get some healing, your team is basically quickswap so you're mostly in invul frame, which Prototype Amber can keep up with.
The main problem with Jean is you have barely any VV application off-field. By the time you're finished with all the set-up, VV's timer is almost over. Pretty problematic, since you want to optimize the uptime of DMC's Q.
VV doesn't trigger off field so that doesn't matter.

🥰Hyper Keqing 🥰 team [ Keqing, Dendro traveler, Sucrose or Kazuha, Bennet or c6 Sara ] is now par with VV shred Hutao team which is one of the best dps teams in existence. Keqing hyper don't show big numbers but its doses a lot more instances of mid numbers.
Keqing is now meta because having no ICDs on dendro reactions
I never liked playing Keqing until now, specially using full Thundering Fury . It's so good to spam her skill and zip around, and with good damage!

For aggravate Keqing you should go EM, aggravate scales with Elemental Mastery.

And em timepieces are very very rare so like it also depends on your substats

An EM and Attack sands gives very similar numbers, you just take whatever has better Crit Value basically.

I like keqing, I use her in my Tighnari, keqing, Xingqiu & Bennett team and I've been slapping most things with this team.

As a owner of a terrible built Keqing who hasn't tried her since dendro she does 6-8k charge atk crits and 18-20k burst crits comparing this to Mtashed's newly built keqing used with dendro she was doing 2-4k crit more with charge atk and 5-7k more with burst crits
So yea with dendro she's more viable to use especially around your world Idk about abyss

My main team ATM is Kazuha + Keqing + Xingqiu + Zhongli and they are so much fun to play. Occasionally I swap Xingqiu with Rosaria or Yanfei depending on what I'm up against and it works very well.
