I don't "chase" special liveries very often. You never know where they'll be, and buying last minute tickets is expensive. Well, when I saw N872CB was coming through Tulsa on a day I was home, I knew I had to get on that flight! I've already flown N871HK three times, and I couldn't let old Herb One have all the fun. So, here it is! A quick flight from Tulsa to Houston on Colleen One! Enjoy! Fun side note as well. My Silver Play Button was in my backpack on this flight too. This was it's first of 15 flights it took with me before I put it on display in my office.
Agreed about chasing special liveries! I’ve come close to it three times now. 2/3 times they were swapped last minute. Actually back on April 8 when I was flying to see the solar eclipse, I flew to PIT via MDW. My other option was to fly via MCO and that flight was being operated by the new Lone Star One. It surprisingly wasn’t much more to change the flight, but I had a gut feeling it would change since it was two days before. Also, I would’ve had a tighter connection in PIT to catch my solar eclipse flight. I stuck with my original flight through MDW, but Lone Star One greeted me in PIT since it wasn’t ever swapped 🙃
I also guess the three specials I’ve flown on were all swapped late too. So I’ve been both very lucky and very unlucky…

Awesome as always Skylite👍. Also I have a model Southwest Airlines 737 MAX 8 in the canyon blue livery. I got it for Christmas in 2023.
Awesome my friend! This was the first of 15 flights I took my Silver Play Button on. I'd like to frame it with a map of the 15 flights I took it on, and with this model also framed with it. Kind of a shadow box type of deal, but then the Silver Play Button has an even cooler story to go with it! I'd hazard a guess and say no one else has ever flown their Silver Play Button on 15 flights before hanging it up haha.
I was looking for The Pioneer Woman's Ranch, but didn't see it.
There's going to be a spectacular solar eclipse moving across the US in August 2045.

Anyhow, if you ever end up flying in a Boeing 707, be sure to record it and remember that it can do everything but read.
Another smooth SW landing the arriving aircrafts taxi in and turn onto the lead in line at the gate was spot on very impressive like a race car driver 😅😅😅😅

Great flight! Is Southwest your top favorite US airline of all time?
Thanks my friend. Southwest is my top single class US airline. It's not really fair to compare the legacies to the low cost, and the ultra low cost airlines. They ofter such drastically different products, so I break them down. United is my favorite major international legacy carrier, Southwest is my favorite single class major carrier, and I'd probably have to say that Avelo is probably my favorite ultra low cost carrier.
Can't decide if I like the Desert Gold or Canyon Blue livery the best? Both are pretty classic! Good Job SP 👍👍

At least we get this retro. As of a couple days ago there are now only 2 aircraft left that haven' been painted. N786SW and N7813P. All others have been painted or retired.

Yes, I film everything with iPhones. Currently iPhone 14 Pros. As long as you sit on the opposite side of the aircraft from the sun, they won't overheat.
