I'm very impressed with the result they achieved, given the tools they have available to them. Certainly takes a lot of skill. Or said in a different way, the quality of their results is largely based on their skill and experience, not on the design of any machines they use, apart from the bending machine which provides a straight bend line. In the modern industry, you don't easily find somebody as skilled as them with a hammer anymore.
All respect for skill and hard work. But when I saw bare legs and shelf positioning without measurements while another was spot welding with the same bare legs, I got chills. How many die there? And for what money?
Kids remember. Do the things that you love and enjoy! Making cabinets for 1$ a month and working till dead arrives at your doorstep.. That’s living the life!
yknow i sometimes do slightly dangerous stuff as im too lazy to try find my ppe or i use an anglegrinder barefoot and risk minor burns but the worst thing here is ironically the guy who is spray painting without a mask, his lungs will be fucked up in a few years... i cannot understand how they cant afford a pair of shoes and gloves so they dont get all cut up...
You could save time by cutting them in small lengths stacking the sheets 3-4 high looks like 26 gauge galvanized , dot mark your bend points cut and your done looks like they are scribing and marking every sheet one at a time
Any expense is too much or these types of bosses ,they do not care about the workforce only about the money the workforce can make him ! If they get injured or die there are plenty more slaves to fill they job.
Apart from the, in my spoiled western eyes, appalling work conditions a brilliant effort. Impressive to see the result. Skilled workers with minimal tools. A very acceptable end result. Please supply these people with a bit of PPE. The painter inhaling those vapours and paint dust makes me nearly cry.
Very hard workers, and very skilled at their craft, but the working conditions are appalling. In addition to the protective gear, they need benches, tables, racks, and carts. Making them work on the floor like that, without shoes is criminal.
Great use of electrical tape @ 6:20 to keep the Spot Welder wire to the mains. Using your coworker to prove that the wires are properly wrapped... "Spot On". 🙄🤦♂
Techniques shown in this video are good for DIY cabinets, except of course WALKING on sheet metal, dragging sheets on concrete, poorly preparing and paining .....
Nicely done! Much respect. But the work environment and equipment is just terrible. Here in the Netherlands this is almost fully automated. The factory near me is cutting, drilling, folding, welding and painting the parts fully automated. Only the final assembly is done by hand. One assembly line does around 40 in 6 hours and that is a coated cabinet. Hope your country will develop to this level soon.
They are so precise and leave little room for errors therefore continuing a process level of complexity build experience and comparable components uniformly units provide an unbelievable accuracy of performance motion of practically is staggering to view without quality control being achieved very quickly and positive impact on success
There's a bloke round the corner from this lot that pours you a molten pair in reused sand, they last maybe two goes but he has the same safety standards as this lot 😂
The alternative to doing what they’re doing now, which is probably earning a living wage, albeit a small one, is to demand more money and have their job automated or outsourced. They’re not living in America, bud. They just can’t stay at home and demand to be paid by the government or make $20 an hour as a cashierista at Starbucks, which, if you ask most millennials still living at home, still isn’t enough money.
It's unbelievable how the barefoot (!) worker (1:10) is unconcerned about safety. Not only does he appear to have a serious bruise on his right foot, but also a bandage on his large toe, probably the result of a workplace injury. And yet, he's just asking for more trouble with those sharp steel offcuts next to his feet! 😱😭 The lack of safety awareness is appalling 😡
@@watcher05er I actually feel pity for these workers, as their employer has obviously not educated them about safe work methods, or provided them with appropriate equipment (safety glasses, work boots etc). Knowledge and basic safety equipment need not be expensive either. Just because someone is born in a poor country, why should they not seemingly care about their own well-being at work? That was my point. I do, however concede that they probably can't speak up about these issues, at the risk of being fired. Such is life with tyrannical employers! 😡
And of course, dragging a brand new sheet of steel over a crappy concrete floor. Utilising methods of the industrial stone age and producing quality never been seen. Working on the floor, on sandals in long dirty dresses, the ‘Sandal Brigade’ all over again. Keep it up guys! The Moguls need their profit.
Your comment is stupid and makes absolutely no sense. Making a cup of coffee is not an industrial activity that involves working with metal and pieces of heavy equipment. These men should be wearing work boots, gloves, hearing protection, and eye protection because of the type of work they do. Despite the fact that they are proficient at making metal cabinets, there is always the real possibility that they will cause serious injury to themselves or others.
@@ManVSMachineHD Comfort cannot be a consideration in industry. When I worked in paper making while in university, I was required to always wear safety footwear, hearing protection, and long-pants. In certain instances, I was required to wear a hard hat and a reflective vest. There are times that I was hot and uncomfortable. Sometimes the earmuff-type hearing protection I wore caused my neck and jaw to hurt a bit. You suck it up and keep going because it is a mandated part of the job. Other important safety rules include not wearing long, loose clothing, using a hairnet or hat to secure long hair, and not wearing rings, chains, or other forms of jewelry. These men need to grasp reality. If they want comfort, they should quite their jobs and go to the beach.
@@pufango4059 Those who talk about safety are right because they do not know how difficult it is for people to work in poor countries. These artisans can't work with safety equipment so fast. They may not be able to work at all.
