I was fishing with Captain Marty Bates about a mile from you guys in Cape Verde the day you caught the 1254# marlin. There is no place like Cape Verde, although Costa Rica isn’t bad either. We fished on the Trequillo out at the Sea Mouns for 4 days incredible action.

wow that’s insane , I just started offshore fishing for about a year and we just caught our first blue and white marlin out of hatteras and now I’m hooked on offshore fishing!!
