Thanks, that brought back memories. I used to solo backpack the Cascades and Olympics in the 1970's. Before required permits and sign ins. Lot fewer people too! Also, I don't remember seeing so many landslides in and around Goat Rocks. I would photograph Mountain Goats around Old Snowy and Johnson Peak. Had one photo published.
