Now? Well... "The future is Now" and while a great many things have changed; for better or worse, it's not exactly the future we'd anticipated. Still, the music carries on and whether through the wistful eyes of a much younger man or the foggy visions of a man no longer able to affect the direction of mankind- it transcends yesterday, today and hopefully... Tomorrow.

Absolutely those are great genres too. I've never heard of shoegaze though, any good examples? There's a really good band called steam powered giraffe that's like, an interesting combination of folk, pop, synth, steampunk I can highly recommend. However, for me, industrial is probably right up there with synthwave

i was searching for a wallpaper for my laptop like 2 days ago, and i found one with the caption synthwave. i really liked the bright colors and the geometric shapes and pretty much everything about it, so like 20 minutes ago i went on a search on what this synthwave thing is. holy crap, i love this so much, i'll definitely use it as background music for studying, because lofi compilations usually just make me sleepy, but this sounds awesome and energizing. thank you so much :)

Developed a perianal abscess and it is every bit as painful as it sounds. Just laid in a bath full of Epsom salts while listening to this mix and it”s the first time in 3 days of utter pain that I’ve had some escape from it. Sorry for that mental picture but thanks Astral Throb. You done good by a total stranger 2 years after the fact.
