Contrast | Dinara mountain & Cetina Region | 8 WAYS 2 FLY

A video made in close collaboration with the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS).
We've had a very strong wind (called "Bura" in Croatian) on the day of the filming that made everything very difficult. I've almost lost a drone when filming the lower parts of the mountain this day.
Dinara, with its highest peak Sinjal (1831m), is the highest mountain in Croatia.
Two times in 7 days I've visited the mountain and it has canceled my plans of filming anything. Then one week later I went for a third try and this is when I filmed the mountain. It was 6:00 in the morning and there was no wind whatsoever on the mountain.
The Cetina Region was filmed a week before the mountain filming, you can spot how the wind was pushing me from my flying route in the video.
I have to thank the HGSS (Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja) - the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service for its company and help in locating the best spots to fly, and also for driving me in the legendary DEFENDER! ✌😁
Without their help I wouldn't know where to fly from and where the mountain peak is.
The general idea of filming Dinara was a year old and planned with the help of my friends, colleagues and family members.
