Not many people enjoy the political side of Star Wars, but personally I enjoy it. You did a great job highlighting the politics throughout The Clone Wars!
How can you have a war without there being politics of any form involved?
Literally most fans, if not all, enjoy it because it's an integral part of franchise they love. How can you speak for others anyway? Don't try to stand out, you are not special or unique in this regard

The politics of Star Wars are underrated as hell. I'm biased of course, but it's true.
What I particularly like about this video is that, unlike most tributes on this subject, it doesn't hyperfocus on Palpatine. Instead, you use the time to focus on the Senate, the Senators, and the Separatists, with Palpatine almost always in the background tying everything together. As Maul might put it, "He is behind everything. In the shadows, always..."
Our problem is did we copy Adolf or Stalin or did they copy us first? Putin surely has played this country and the west like a harp from hell.

@@HolyknightVader999 Speaking of Littlefinger and Tywin, I'd certainly like to see their actors (Aiden Gillen and Charles Dance respectively) to get involved with Star Wars in the foreseeable future!
They'd make for wonderful Imperial Moffs or Sith Lords, right?

@@HolyknightVader999 As intriguing and entertaining that idea would sound, there's a certain "suaveness/political sliminess" to Aiden's characters that I normally wouldn't associate with Thrawn (who has notoriously been bad at politics in both the Chiss Ascendancy and Galactic Empire).
Perhaps Aiden might be better suited to play a live action version of a leading member of the Aristocra/Syndicure (from the recent Thrawn Ascendancy trilogy of novels), especially if Disney Plus' New Republic era of Star Wars storytelling intends to bring attention to the Unknown Regions (and the emerging threat of the Grysk Hegemony).

That transition from palpatine speech into all the destruction and chaos as he raises his hand is perfection.
So many people complained about the politics of Star Wars, without realizing how crucial it all was. Palpatine was a brilliant strategist and as much as I hate him, he amazes me. Always three steps ahead.

A famous Athenian philosopher hated it. Because it allowed demagogues to amass power and subvert the system. It was easily exploited, and made for a ship where the captain was at the whim of fools.

Amazing video on the politics of the Republic and the Separatists! (there are barely any videos on this issue in Star Wars that not a lot of peope seem to get in the movies (why you should watch CW). It shows why so many planets and star system rejoiced and applaused thunderously for the new Galactic Empire.

This is awesome. I know a lot of people complain that TPM/the prequels were too political but it was one of my favorite aspects, actually.
Best thing about this cartoon is that it’s political side is so reflective of real life politics.
So I know that the political side of Star Wars was never a lot of people's forte in the franchise. However it really did have a huge play in how the Empire came to be. Sure yes the politics was always being strung by the Emporer himself, and I think even in some instances went opposite than what he was expecting, because of how much control he had in it.
But just like Anakin, The Clone, The Droids, etc; had a part in Palpatine's plan towards dominate rule. The politics is where it was shown the hearts and minds of the galaxy and how each system solely affected the rest.
I don't understand politics a lot, and probably in some way understand Star Wars more than Earth's, but this tribute can really help those see how much it was a huge aspect to how the events of The OG Trilogy can exist.
